Most likely on the Nurburgring, I can hit 266 there, 263 on La Sarthe, but there's not enough straight road for that on SSR7. (Unless Tho can provide evidence to support this, either a photo or a full data set like the one I provided for the Supra)
Anyway, the reason I logged in today,,,

The Fiat 500's are just base level achievements, as I got really bored waiting for them to hit the max and pretty much gave up before the first hairpin turn! So if anyone with a little more patience wants to take those on, feel more than welcome!

Why do the X2010s differ?

I thought they had the same exact specs and weight. :confused:

I know the one you can buy from the dealership has fully adjustable gearing, whereas the Vettel one you can only adjust the final drive ratio. It could also be down to how well you can exit the hairpin, as that can also greatly determine how much terminal speed you end up with in the tunnel. (That also is true for any car tested)
 
New entry into the top of the list - Mercedes SL65 AMG (R230) - 258mph

Retuned the gearing and managed an additional 14mph!!!! This motor is just utterly brutal!

This was online and on the track Circuit de la Sarthe. We wasn't racing just drag racing and testing out cars, but I got the Enzo to hit 260mph.

EDIT: We were coming back up the "reverse" way.

I JUST F´IN DID IT. THE IMPOSSIBLE...... 401KPH with Mclaren F1 Roadcar 1994

Car:Mclaren F1 1994 Premium
Top Speed: 401kph
Top Speed with Draft: 450 - 60 Kph

yeah well i always told everyone that this car should atleast do 401Kph, but i always ended up in 380 or 391 kph. many have said that it is impossible, and people where confused. it was very frustrating. the 15 August 2011, just after my 19 Birthday, a miracle came down, i was sitting here on my couch and did the biggest Research of all time, and suddenly i grabbed the controller turned on my ps3 and let the tuning begin.

i got Help From a Website, where i could understand the physics of a Dragster. i searched on 2 Forum threads in here, and i had only 1...... Goal. Proving That this car can go 401 both Offline and Online. it took me about Freakin 6 hours, to Crack this major Car... major Frustrating Car... and look what i did. 401kph, on de Lar sarthe No chicane, testing and testing. finally it came too 398... 399... 401, with no Draft. a beast without any turbo or supercharger. my last thought was... can it do the same top speed Online... answer is yes, but it won´t do 401 in SSR7 From 1 end to the tunnel to another. it need atleast over 2/3 Miles, to get there. in tunnel it does about 391 to 395.

i can´t say the setup dispite that it is secret..... sorry Guys

That's great but this is benchmarking for Special Stage Route 7. You're welcome to re-run your car on this stage and give us the statistics you gather from that.

You did the completely possible. My McLaren does oh...402.3 KPH, On SSR7 :)

It's still gaining HP (Only at 137 Miles). So it's not logged yet. Just preliminary.

Jay Leno Tank Car - 169 MPH - By using half throttle past 164 MPH.

With my Veyron at La Sarthe I hit 279 mph going down and 282 going up the wrong way just before it hits the wall in the final turn. Gotta try setting camber at 0, now their set at +1.2 and +0.8 and toe at -.10 and -.25
 
Ok, people, let's make this clear

If you're posting speeds from La Sarthe, your speeds are not valid for this test
The bumps in the road make it impossible to get an accurate portrayal of the actual speeds that the cars can get, as the wheels leave the ground at multiple points. This can vary the results so wildly that the tests aren't truly representative of the car's capabilities.
This does not happen at SSR7, thus it was used for the benchmarking of the cars.
Also, given that the physics engine works differently online, and it was requested in the original post, all tests should be performed offline.

Google Docs Update: 3/9/11

A few new additions and some updates

  • Completed data set for Mazda Mazdaspeed Atenza.
  • (almost) Complete data set for Subaru Cusco Advan.
  • New speed records for Aem S2000, Acura DNX, ABT TT Touring Car, Audi R8 LMS, Option Stream Z.

I have been away for a while doing some tuning stuff, but I will return with some more new data sets soon.
 
You can use a "glitch" to achieve much higher top speeds. I've reached 583 kph in the X2010 (no draft). This shouldn't count however.
 
McLaren F1 - 255 MPH
Tried for over an hour to bump to 256 MPH - No go. Can't seem to get that high up.

Claiming another one...

Mind sharing your settings? I can't seem to get past 256 MPH - @ 968 HP.

Edit: Nevermind, Rebuilt engine, got to 1019 HP. That makes sense...

Edit 2: After a good hour and more of tuning, I got nowhere. Stuck at 261.59 MPH or 421 KPH (This is 261.59 MPH)

When a car has a listed down force, DF, I set it to minimum and list the amount. I added DF aero on some cars at GT Auto. All cars have maximum HP tune available. All times with no draft at Sarthe. Speed first in MPH. RC is race car.

You obviously didn't read the thread, so I'll help you out a bit. SSR7 ONLY. Sarthe doesn't count. Plus, most your speeds listed are much lower than what's already available
 
My fastest I've gone was in the X2010 on Indi, caught a wicked draft and shot past the prototype le mans cars at 305 MPH!!!

Clearly the X2010 is just a monster!!

How repeatable is this? Well I gave you the title of fastest man on SSR7 because while you prove that it's possible.. it's using the most powerful car in the game so I mean you're really beating the X2010 with an X2010 :\ Regardless, congratulations.. You've set a benchmark that's going to be extremely hard to beat.
