hmmm, I just realized I'm going to be in Cozumel, Mexico for the Japan release. When I get back, I'll be engaged (hopefully) and I'll have to ask permission to play video games (j/k). Well, I can take solice in the fact that everyone will know everything about GT4 by the time I get back and all I'll have to do is read 200+ pages on this forum to imform myself......

It's wierd, I couldn't even get it to download at work. Now at home it downloads but the file doesn't play at all in any software.

Try downloading the latest version of Divx. The new Divx seems to be less pickier about how the files were encoded.

Edit: I just noticed that the commercial shows 8 cars dropping onto the tarmac (it'll make more sense when you watch it)...does that mean we have up to 8 car fields for the races now?

Double Edit: Nevermind, there are more cars in the background of the last shot which makes more than eight. And the cars have California plates, weird.

really?? nice spot if it's true... I didn't notice the number of cars but now that I think of it, it did seem around there. That's pretty interesting along with the 8 grid pattern's that have been popping up in the recent demos. 👍

There's no need to calm down, cause I'm not excited. I just wanted to make clear that there are some cars to see that drop down, and that's it. We don't even know if there weren't more cars that were cut out during post-editing. If you really want you can see a sense in everything, but there just isn't.

I know but with KY saying "oh there's gonna be a couple big secrets" 'n' jazz like that (although quite possibly just hype) and the 8 starting grids it would be nice to make a connection between them. I'm not some yuppy fanboy that goes off believing everything he hears, but all I'm sayin' is it would be nice if it was an 8 car field.

Watching that commercial made my jaw drop.... The first site of seeing the Audi drop right om the street just got me going "what the...." Then all these cars started to DROP from the sky and then I was in TOTAL DISBELIEF!!! One care....two car....three car...four car...five car....six car...EXPENSIVE!!!! One thing I find quite funny about the commercial are some of the cars that dropped.

I noticed that the expensive cars didnt drop as hard as the others. They drop like as if they have some help to slow the drop so that the dealership would not complain about the damages. The Ford GT and the Mitsubshi Evolution VIII didnt drop so hard like the others. They both dont even look like as if the bottom touched the ground upon impact. The Mercedez and the NSX didnt drop, was just THERE on the ground already! Good commercial by the way!

I can't get this file to work. I can download it - extract the file, but it won't play either at home or work. I did have DivX 5.1.1 - tried updating to the latest version but no difference. Anybody else still having this problem?
