Am I alone in not understanding what your on about?

What on Earth is "Line breaking bar"??

From what I read, it was a glitch in the chat box where someone could anonymousy insult you by putting a huge space in the text posted by one person. Will need someone to probably better explain it.

Wow! The OP started this (good idea) and then subsequently got banned. (bad idea) That's...sad.

Anyway, looks like some good changes to the game. Slowly making our way to Spec III.

Not saying the transmission noise wouldn't still be VERY LOUD... though I notice even in that BMW video, you can still hear the engine. Wish GT5 could achieve that.

Im glad you brought that up, just this morning i was taking the RM Camaro 69 for a romp around the Ring, and i noticed that along with beefier engine sound (overall, cockpit has appropriate insulation effect) the Whine wasnt as prominent as it used to be, still very much there, but taking its due place in relation to the engine\exhaust noise of a V8 race modded muscle car, meaning, it was definitely being drowned out at times.

So i think FRTs noise will be as loud as it has to be in relation to the car you drive, if its a smooth quiet car you can expect to hear only that but if you have a bang and pop type ride, it can take a backseat to the other sounds.

If you listen to Blut Aus Nord then you're used to percepting nuances

Gonna ride the ring listening to MoRT lol

cheers

Make sure to do it at night, with headlights off, ahaha.

Nice spot! Ive been back on MVII recently.

You must ask others about that, not me! I know what I was about!

I know what you mean FLACO, its beefed up, less TTSSSSSSS more BBRRRRRRRR ahaha.

The sound of a car driving away with exhaust facing the camera , Eargasm. MM MM MMMM.

What happened to the op, therealgt5, he just got banned ? saw the thread earlier, he was not banned yet... :( oh well ...

Have anyone checked if the 2.06 physics changed to be similar with the one from GT Academy ? GTA definitely have different feel than GT5 pre 2.06.

WHAT??? They spin out easier then before? OMG, I´m never gonna learn how to drift with the wheel now. But racing now feels better, well maybe I´ll learn someday, I did with DS3 so...

Turn your power steering on and you'll be able to drift with the wheel very nicely. 👍 But it's nearly impossible with power steering off.

BMW´s 120d actually sounds like a diesel now! jk, idk if it changed

Yep, it´s a lot more fun to drive, watch and listen to this game!

Ah, ok thanks Brandon, I´m goin to try it out. In the german copy this is literally translated with "Steering-aid", the name scared me off thats why i turned it off, lol

It's in the main options of the game, not driving options or quick options. it's under wheel settings. You may be thinking of srf and it's a driving aid.

I ALWAYS, have drifted with wheel settings at SIMULATION, POWER STEERING OFF and Force Feedback at 8. It feels great with the new update as well.

I know, I´ve been thinking of the wheels setting´s POWER STEERING. I find it easier to drift now as I turned it off, though I´m gonna have to turn it back on for Racing. But thats not a big deal! Thanks anyway mike :)

Did you feel any difference between GT5 2.06 and GTA in terms of physics .. not just FFB aspect, but the whole thing, tire grip, braking, suspension ? I think they are similar now.

Sorry if it's been mentioned, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this before 2.06, but driving your car in the Speed Test section now adds mileage to your car and cycles the UCD every time you enter the Speed Test section. At least it says it's recording the mileage set, the bhp of the car doesn't increase as it usually does with break-in.

On another note, I did 3 laps at Nordschleife with a stock R32 GTR on sports hard - no assist, no ABS aid, pushed a bit hard with average lap of 8:1x.xxx, tire wear at the front seems to be less than pre2.06, I have about 70% bar on front tire and 85% at the rear. Is this about the same with pre 2.06 ?

PD has removed the line break button during lobby chat.

It was abused by many gamers.

Yes it was. And it harmed not a single one. Might as well remove all voice and text chat as far more damage is caused by what remains, and what remains is abused far more by many more gamers.

Text is more permenant rather than Voice being done and over with my Simply Muting the other players. Text can be visable to all and can bully other players unfairly by hurling unessary abuse at a particular person. Causes more harm than good. Swearing and cursing in almost every Multiplayer game via Text chat has been banned for centures.

in the community tab, i used to just go up to the message board icon and push up once more to reach that little globe symbol up beside the A and B at the top - clicking that sorts your friends putting the ones currently online at the top.

Well, now pushing up does nothing so you've to scroll through your friends to get to the globe to sort friends.

It's always dangerous with a new update to think you've found something new whilst it has been around a while before but can anyone confirm the sound of rain being more pronounced now or that it has been this way all along?
It's really noticeable in cockpit view and 3rd person view (at least when stationary) and with the sound overall being tinkered with again it might have changed too.

It looks like a lot of the sounds have changed, even in volume, so there's a high chance you're right about it sounding louder or something.

It was possible to do that in previous games.

Hmm, I guess I just never noticed it until this point? I have been playing GT since the beginning and never have seen this. What exactly is it there for anyway? Is it supposed to simulate an sequential auto gearbox or something? I'm confused.

"Dangerous" like in "people getting killed"? Or more like in "I never noticed that big red button. Wonder what happens when I press it?" ;)

This. Since launch day I've had those exact settings whether I'm drifting or racing.

If they put clutch in for DS3, why should it work with automatic?

Well I tried it out, same car, but this affect of clutch slip didn´t occure. Maybe it´s because of the R2 button? tbh your the 1st person I heard using r2 to accelerate

Happens to me also. Is happened since I got the game

I posted it in Bug Tracker thread, but no one answered, here there is more movement, so I'm writing:

Can someone check the pitstop @ Route X?
For me (at least offline) it's broken, I haven't tried online. It resets the car, then just drives through pit lane with no option to change tires or refuel. AI cars have same problem too, I tried with X2010, after four laps they did same thing as me, no stopping in pits, just drive through.
