so um... does anyone know why I don't receive all of the silver lions after a match? Like sometimes I'll earn 20,000 or more, but the total at the top only rises about 4-5k... (I'm talking with those numbers as is...)

and I'm in the upper level tiers so it can't be that I'm purchasing parts automatically either....

I think you have automatic repair enabled. Turn it off and you'll see your plane/tank damaged after a fight if it was damaged/killed. Each vehicle has 10 free repairs when you obtain it (premiums have 30), once they're done, money will be taken from you automatically (if you have auto-repair on), or the vehicle will be left broken (if it's off) and you can't use it until you fix it. You can spend some lions to fix it or just leave it in the hangar (with crew) and it'll gradually be repaired for free (will take a few hours, depending on tier).

I did not know about this. wow. so i must of used millions of silver lions by now... :lol:

Varies depending on level. From half an hour (tier 1) to few days (like my Tiger II, tier 4).

So, guys, I recommend you to turn the auto-repair off and before leaving the game, check your vehicles if you have any broken ones, and leave them with a crew to repair while you don't play.

I know it does. The quick ones are so cheap though I just auto repair. The only ones I need to worry about the repair bill with are the ones that take days to fix.
 
I almost single-handedly one at the jungle.... caped A, took out two tigers, then blew up. Caped B, took out a few more panthers a tigers, then blew up. Rolled all the way over to C (from the far left of the map) and took out a few others, so far the tally is 9, and then I'm about to enter the ring at C and BAM... a panzer III whips around behind me and starts shoving the back of my Ferdinand while in the water...

I died, the team died, and we lost...
 
I'm going to turn the auto-repair off then. Guess I'll be playing more vehicles instead of grinding one tree because of it, but that's how it's gotta be. Maybe I'll just play until my tanks are all in need of repairs and then play something else, because the grind is a strugglefest now.

I did that for one match but I always die all the time in arcade mode because I try to cap too much... Ended up paying around 10,000 to repair all three tanks (two T IV's and a TIII) and then I turned it back on... So I guess I have to net 10,000 each round to even out.
Anyways, next round I had it back on and noticed that I lost around 14,000 and then 7,000 the next round, so I thought I just introduced a bug or glitch or something and started to spiral downwards in my mind like, "Ohh no! I'm never going to buy that Tiger now!!"

yeah... not doing that again, just gonna have to get better at flanking rather than go to the obvious locations..

Not playing arcade also helps... since you can't be spotted, called out, and red boxed by the other team.

I guess I'm gonna try tonight.. I only did it once but that was an event and I wasted time in that...

I might be on around 9:30pm (est)
 
I remember playing War Thunder when it was first in open beta a few years back and tried playing it on older computers but couldn't keep up with the game. Recently got back into War Thunder after getting iMac and so far I've mainly been playing ground forces with the US Tanks. Today I was able to unlock the Stuarts and started research on the Lee.
 
Cool stuff... I woke up pretty early and started to read some of this stuff and thought for a moment (a moment) that it was true...

Anyways.. I tried simulator/realistic, whatever the name of the match is and I haven't been having that much of luck. The games aren't really made for tank destroyers which those are the only tanks I currently have at the moment worth much...
 
8860 SL for a 4 kill match in ground forces RB in rank 3.
9000 SL for a 1 kill match in air battles RB in rank 2.

Talk about equal payout for the same work. :rolleyes:
 
Seems I once again, have no luck with ground forces. No matter what nation or tank I use, I get destroyed and can't do a thing to the enemy. :irked:

Edit: Sniped, by a Sherman, from across the map, while the game just started and I wasn't even out of the spawn point yet in my KV-2.

Seems appropriately reasonable to be killed like that on Ash River.
