Please note that the Wednesday Series (Porsche 908) is full so I have given you a slot as First Reserve and Mark as Second Reserve - please don't do too much practise in the Porsche as there is no guarantee of a vacant slot for the race. There is a high chance of someone being absent, in which case I will send an invitation.

There were two vacant slots in the Monday Series (Ferrari 250 TR v Aston Martin DBR1/300) so I have filled those with you and Mark. For the Monday Series you have a guaranteed slot on the grid. If you are not going to be available, if possible let me know so I can offer your slot to a Reserve.

Below: copy of the post from the other thread about cars:

Welcome New Guys !!!

Welcome to @Senna94f1 (PSN: mark___f1) and @Paulzx (PSN: Paulzx)
Hopefully you will be able to join us on Monday - the cars to use are: Mark = Ferrari 250 TR, blue race number 12; Paul = Aston Martin DBR1/300, green number 8. Mark - If you don't have the Ferrari DLC please let me know. Paul - do you have the Ferrari DLC?

The Wednesday Series is full, but I have put you down as first and second reserves:

Mark = Porsche 908/03 race number 2, Paul = Porsche 908/03 race number 7.

Please let me know if you have any queries. PS GTPlanet is misbehaving at the moment hence strange font etc.

Next week (the 7th) I won't be able to attend, so my place is available for the taking 👍

I found some pics I took at a typical American weekend car/custom/hot rod show in Virginia some years ago....thought I would share some with you guys from across the 'pond':
1948 Chevy Woodie Wagon:

1941 Willys Coupe...very popular vehicle to customize, drag race in the 50s and 60s:

You could really stuff a lot of engine under that deep hood...this was, I think a 'blown' (supercharged) 426 CI Chrysler Hemi.

1967 Camaro, 'blown' 427, set up with18" slicks, etc. for drags:

What was a VW Beetle...now a highly customized 'Baja Bug' dune buggy.

Early 1930s Ford Model A truck...

Iconic 1957 Chevy Belair...was 'restorodded' and was someone's daily driver:

1950 Ford Sedan...we has one of these when I was born!View attachment 776933

1970 Plymouth Road Runner...production model built in very limited numbers to meet NASCAR requirements for racing...

Hope you guys enjoyed some of these!

Thank you, John...but I can't figure out how to not have the attachment thumbnails show up below the large pics...how do you do that?

Post all your pictures first then select for them all to be full size - at the moment your pictures are effectively double posted - you can select edit post then delete them, then repost.

There is a chance I am not attending tonight.

I have to catch a (very) early flight tomorrow so I might need the time to pack and sleep.

I also managed to injure my knee yesterday, so still need to test if I am able to drive without pain.

I’ll let you know before the race.

I'm sort of glad we've finished with the 908, I never really got to grips with it somehow. Not the best of engine sounds either I thought.

Saying that I had a good tussle with LC at Brno and yesterday I managed to fill Sick's mirrors for a good section of the race. So not all bad.

Next week's races look interesting!

Sick, Is it correct to go with the Ford Capri next week, and with 24 hour SIM, can you say start time of day (in game)...
Thx

Skip Ford Capri or BMW G5, tried the Capri going too be fun to drive.:D
