This isn't really thread worthy.. peoples will just post the same thing as the other thread here.

If it comes on either or than it doesn't really matter which one they choose. If it was only left and they made right than ya I would find it strange. Probably just the model they used to copy was that side steering.

Mini Cooper S '05 is a left hand drive model too. I obviously prefer left hand drive cockpits though, because I can use them without it feeling weird.

The Ford Focus has right hand side drive. It's American. Explain that.

The focus ST170 was sold everywhere BUT the U.S.

Also, the old Mini is considered a german car in the game, even though it's a british car.

It's probably because PD used whatever version of the car they were given or could find. The Focus is RHD with KPH dials, so it's probably an Australian-sold model they had access to.

What side of the car the steering wheels is on depends on which country the car was built for was modeled after. With the MP4, for example, PD modeled a US or version. With the Volvo C30, PD modeled a Japanese version.

Ya exactly. If there was a car that was built for only one country with only left hand drive and they made it right hand drive than ya it would be weird. If a car is built to have either or than I'm thinking it's just from the model they used as to which side to put it on.

What's this I keep hearing about a premium Focus? The rally car has digital gauges and IIRC is RHD.

Oh... Focus ST. I remember now.

That wouldn't have LHD or proper speed measurements unless it's a UK version, since the Focus ST we got here was an N/A 4cyl and down about 70hp on the Euro version. Why our own car manufacturers sell their best cars everywhere else but here, I'll never know.

I wish that more of the cars in GT5 were left hand drive or to bad that there wasn't an option to select left or right hand drive when buying the car from the premium dealership.

Agree mate, it can't be that difficult...

Citroen C4 VTS if I remember is right hand drive too, while it's French...

There was a thread on this in the Q&A section that got deleted, possibly because it was called "Please fix the ***** Volvo", somebody was unhappy about it being right hand drive in game instead of left.

The Ford Falcon race car spits flames from the wrong side of the car where there isn't an exhaust.

You didn't explain how this is not a copy of the other thread about this.

mp4-12c is british, and they provide right hand steering, but why pd made it left in the game??

I'm pretty sure McLaren's have the driver seat in the center, but that might just be in the F1's. I'm not entirely sure.

Its center-seated position is only in the McLaren F1. Hence the reason why it's called the "F1".

North America and Europe received their own respective second generation Ford Focus's. The ST model is only available with the European second-generation Focus, made by Ford Europe. Those in North America received their own second-generation Ford Focus.

TL;DR: Ford Focus ST = European = Not American
