I'm already eating my second big bowl of Menudo. Its soo good, I love how my grandma makes it, at this rate, I may go for a third bowl

Menudo is made with tripe (beef stomach) right? Is it the one with tomato sauce or the one with a clear soup? Are you having the Mexican version? I have had that once - I really liked the chewiness and taste of the tripe. I have eaten tripe in other preparations, though. Both towel tripe and the other kind (?).

Tonight - choice between 'burgers, soup and cold-cuts sandwich, or bacon-wrapped chicken tournadoes. No one's making up their mind. I'm going out of mine.

Going for my third bowl of Menudo, I'll probably end up finishing everything.

Tripes is beef intestine. Menudo uses beef stomach and feet, its made with a spicy chile sauce. I love it with limes, raddish, oregano, and onion. I love sucking out the bone marrow after everything is gone. Sorry if sounds a bit gross. Not sure if Menudo rumor is true or not (I don't drink any alcohol at all) but its supposed to cure the hangover.
