I'll post this once even though it happens very frequently...

I am drinking the drinks that come free from the vending machine at work.

Mmmm.. free drinks.

It's great, isn't it. Work with free drinks. And my job also has free food too! Hooray for restaurants!

The cabbage, if whole and not pre-shredded or washed, can last at least 10 days. If shredded and washed in a bag, about five days at the most. Same for the sprouts.

You only bought one bag of sprouts? They go fast; trust me.

Yeah, I only needed enough food to last until Sunday. Publix's 2-for-1 Famous Amos deal tempted me into somewhat of a cookie diet. But I made Char Siu chicken tonight and have the spouts and cabbage for a 3 more dinners. I'm probably going to do Char Siu Bao tomorrow night with a yeastless dough recipe (actually a nikuman recipe). And then tomorrow looks like stir fry if I can find some more good boneless meat... otherwise I'll make a filet mignon. (which I'm thinking of broiling... I hate "grilling" on a pan) I'll have to figure something out for Sunday depending on what I have left. I'm sure I'll have some cabbage but those bean sprouts will be long gone. Beef/pork wellington was an abort-mission because they didn't have anything that looked good, nor for the right price at the grocery store.

Sage, what is essential for a good bibimbap? What's that hot sauce stuff you were talking about?

Also, Calphalon baking sheets suck because they warp when you heat them past 350.

Drinking some iced coffee with soy milk. A nice pick me up before heading to the bar. Though I am still trying to figure out how strong I should be brewing the coffee for icing...

A Jimmy John's Italian Night Club, jalapeño kettle chips and a Coke.

Tesco premium (YESS NOT THE SCAG WHITE LABEL VALUE ) coke !! :)..nothing close to real coke but it's still really nice.. it's 56 cents for 2 litres.

We no longer have a 'meat man' that comes to our house to sell us prime cuts of beef. We now buy all our meat from the local supermarket. It's frickin' horrible what they have.

First off, they didn't have a single piece of prime. If they did, I wouldn't buy it anyway. Way over priced. Second, the next best grade is "Choice" and it's horrid compared to "Prime." But, what can you do? Buy select, which I wouldn't give to my dog? (I know, I'm a beef snob)

We had "Choice" fillet mignon steaks on the BBQ. I then made some inside skirt steak for fajitas tomorrow, or whenever. Didn't make my favorite 'Lyonnaise Potatoes' because the boys weren't in an 'onion mood' whatever that is. Still a good meal, but the steak wasn't anything to glee about.

Gochujang. You’d probably need to go to an oriental market to get it (which is easy enough for me – there are four within 15 minutes of here – but I don’t know about you). I tend to think that most restaurants have too much salt in their gochujang, but I’m really picky about food saltiness.

Bibimbap is a lot like stir fry in that it’s just a bunch of stuff tossed together, so it’s hard to say what makes for “good” bibimbap. Just make sure that the rice (short grain) is cooked nicely and the namul (vegetables) are seasoned well (keep in mind that Korean food tends towards vinegar and sesame oil for seasoning).

Anyway, I just eat food rather than prepare it, so don’t pay too much attention to what I say. :p

Finally... true chicken char siu bao:

Red and Green Sherbet mixed together forming gray. Delicious yet so unappetizing.

General Tso's chicken, fried rice, 2 fortune cookies and tea.

Stuffed!

Made Beef Szechuan with all those bean sprouts and frozen burger meat. I'm gonna have Mung dung.

Too hot to heat up or cook anything. So I made wraps with cool lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, cheese, turkey with mayo and mustard.

This was lunch, and shortly, dinner will be the same.

Breakfast, was a Protein Shake, Oatmeal, and multivitamins. 9am was a Meal Replacement Shake, A preworkout shake before the Gym, A Protein Shake after it (Right now) and then Dinner. I'll have another Protein Shake before bed, with 1.5 oz of Almonds, and another MultiVitamin.

:)
I am still full from eating over 6 hours ago. I had a Frito Chili Bowl. Take a microwaveable bowl and fill it with 1 cup of Frito Corn Chips. Add your favorite chili, I used Stagg Country Brand Chili, add some hot sauce and mix well together. Heat for a few minutes then take it out to mix it again adding three slices of American cheese. Heat a few more minutes. When done heating, add another cup of Fritos and mix well again. Enjoy.:D

Yay thanks for the recipe!:)

^ Being that post is from 2003, I'm guessing Solid isn't still full.

Either that or he has found the solution to world hunger. :p

I made some pasta salad last night with the chicken my parents grilled for dinner. Took some rotini and mixed in chopped black olives, bell peppers, oregano, a large helping of feta cheese, and a bunch of Italian salad dressing. Having a big bowl of it for lunch right now, it's awesome.
