Pulled them off the grill at 140° internal.

Had 3 soft shell tacos from Taco Johns for lunch with some potato olés.

I was going to grill last night, but then we got a series of pop-up thunderstorms, so back to the oven and stovetop.

Baked lemon-dill fish with corn on the cob seasoned with Cavender's No-Salt Greek Seasoning.

Went to Sonic for the first time. Had a cheeseburger and fries.......for about $7.00! Kind of a spendy place for a fast food place, but the food was great :D

:nervous:Currently waiting for a Spicy Meatball, Ham, Pepperoni, and Ground Beef pizza... Wait is unbearable! Got it from the take out.

Went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Had the Roadkill and green beans.

When I hear about going to Sonic for the first time, I always find it kind of weird. It makes sense though because Sonic has existed in Oklahoma for my entire life. Sonic was founded in Oklahoma. If I am in Norman, which I am most of the time, and I have the time, then I do not go to Sonic, but instead Classic 50s. Classics was previously a Sonic many years ago. Not sure how everything fell, but they split from Sonic and have done their own thing for quite some time now.

Finished off my last hamburger over the weekend. This time I made it into a swiss cheese, egg, and mushroom hamburger.

In order top to bottom.
-2 eggs over easy (seasoned with mrs dash southwest chipotle)
-Thin sliced tomatos
-2 slices of Sargento swiss cheese
-Fresh mushrooms
-Hamburger
-Handful of Stacys simply naked pita chips

Absolutely delicious!!

Made some spicy tuna salad sandwiches to bring for lunch. Plus a bag of Cheetos and a Glacier Cherry Gatorade.

Had the Crab and Garlic bake from Red Lobster with a salad and the oh so good buns

I spent the last few days in Lake Charles Louisiana.
From Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse, Golden Nugget, Lake Charles, LA, menu:

"Australian Wagyu Skirt Steak
10 oz with Duck Fat Potatoes, Chimichurri,
Sunny Side Up Egg"

This has to be the best meat selection I have ever made in a steakhouse. The meat was so tender, so good. And then someone decided it top it off with a fried egg, Who does that?

I really kind of felt bad for those in my party that were eating normal steaks.

Obviously you wanted to share your happiness.
Steak and eggs is a regular breakfast around here - many Canadians have that instead of bacon and eggs.
Another dish that is great with a fried egg draped over it is nasi goreng, quite a favourite of mine.

Picked up some ready-made pizza dough for the young men at home (holidays now) to have fun with.
They make all sorts of stuff with this; pizzas, tarts, dough-boys, and wreak the kitchen, spill herbs and spices everywhere . . . but at least are somewhat harmlessly occupied.
Till they start making dough-boys with anatomical parts that should not be there. :irked:

After losing about 15 pounds the past few weeks, (boys aren't here that much, so no need to make any dinners), all bets are off the holiday weekend. Starting off, chili cheese dogs and chili cheese fries and malted chocolate frozen custard for dessert.

Tomorrow, smoked ribs. Like I said, all bets are off. :D

My wife and I went to India Palace for supper. I had the "Palace Mix Grill".

Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikki and Bolti Kabob. Served with Chicken Curry, Rice and Naan. There was nothing left on my plate when I was done. NOTHING!

Big feast at a party last night. Italian beef, Maxwell Polish sausage, Alabama style chicken wings, mac & cheese, spicy potato salad, Mexican style corn, and garden salad.

Plus marinated cheese, buffalo pretzel sticks, and chips with pineapple salsa.

Got a mini bottle of Natalie's OJ today to compare against Big Trop.

It's kind of amazing how completely different these juices are. Natalie's is gently pasteurized and shipped out the next day. It actually tastes like juice. Tropicana and the other big labels, on the other hand, are re-constructed juices. The orange juice is nitrogenated in huge tanks to preserve it after pasteurization, and then flavor chemists analyze and alter the batches so that they meet manufacturer taste specs before they're finally bottled. Fascinating industry. Some people are so used to this process that they prefer the engineered product over fresh juice. My mom thought the Natalie's had gone bad or something. It was pretty good-- tasted more like actual oranges.

I have to admit, though, that I do prefer the Tropicana as a little something to have with breakfast. It just works with the saltiness of the bacon or sausage, and also cuts through pancake/waffle/syrup. It's also half the price.

But the Natalie's would be great by itself as a refreshment on a hot summer day. And it was.

A bit late with the 4th of July dinner pics, but I was busy. It was just too hot to smoke ribs, hot and humid. And a "guest" who invited herself over, asked what she could bring. I said beer. So, she shows up with Budweiser knowing what beer I like. The beer I don't like is Budweiser.

Oven roasted ribs, mac salad, homemade beans and rib fat fried 'taters.

With the holiday weekend most of my eating at home was small because we were eating elsewhere.

I had grilled chicken, bison burgers, pasta salad, veggies and dip, chips and dip, and so forth. No pics because I try not to be the guy taking pictures of my food when I am not at home.
