People do that?
Yep. Boil spare ribs to make them tender and then grill them just enough to give them the flavor. My mom used to do it all the time when I was a kid.

Like I often say, I learned how to cook as a survival instinct.

Boiled ribs are fine. The only thing is that you need to boil them in ultra-ultra salty water. Otherwise you wind up with flavorless disgusting bonemeat. Not ribs.

And you lose the juiciness created by the rendering fat. And there is no cooked in flavor.

Making it salty water just creates a fast brine, it still doesn't address the things gained by a low and slow cook.

I know. But if you gotta boil ribs, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Breakfast was huveos rancheros (ish). Had tortilla chips, with salsa, avocado and an over-easy egg on top.

My wife requested chicken, potatoes, and green beans for her Mother's Day dinner, so I shoved a can full of herbs and apple juice up a chicken's butt and threw it all on the grill.

I had some leftover ribs and beans. Someone earlier in the day mentioned a McRib, and I thought, "I wonder."

Yep, properly cooked ribs can have the bones easily pulled out and leave you with a boneless rib patty.

Went to a place called Fazoli's in Champagne Illinois for supper. I can't remember the name of the food I got, but it was pretty much an equivalent to the Spicy Italian from Subway. Great food :D

Brisket with beans and coleslaw at Mark's Feed Store in Louisville. There's always a bright side to having to visit the doctor.

Is that supposed to be Fazoli's? I didn't know they weren't nationwide, if so. They've been in every city I've lived in most of my life. Unlimited free breadsticks.

Sounds like you had their Submarino.

One might say I like fajitas. I ate 15 of them.
How do you count your fajitas? One per what you put on a tortilla or one per what is delivered to your table?

Pre-marinated pork chop with penne pasta in gravy. Sprinkling of black pepper on top.

"Pasta and gravy?!"

Where we're going, Marty, we don't need any rules!

Per tortilla wrap as a whole. So chicken peppers and salsa was what I had.

Are you on some kind of vacation!? Long ways from NoDak... keep going south and west to visit me!

Anyways, I am eating cookies out of a vending machine. Soon enough I will be eating McDonalds Sausage McFluffins and Hashbrowns!

Dinner last night was was Tabasco Buffalo wings and celery with blue cheese. Having the last couple for lunch now, with one of the last bottles of Holiday ale.

Nothing fancy at all, i was revising for math and decided to drop in Hardees (since it's nearby) for some Double Cheese Burger.
