Hey Omnis, what size Intuos is that? Fantastic tablet, but I don't use mine nearly as much as I should.

And to not be totally off-topic, I'm scarfing down a turkey breast and cheese sandwich on rye and washing it down with a can of Pepsi.

The 8 inch one, or whatever the middle size was for the Intuos3.

Cue Homer drool.

The 6x8? That's the one I have. I guessed it was one of the larger ones because of the right-hand buttons.

I've got some cans of this new Cherry Vanilla Pepsi. Not very cherry, it's almost identical to Vanilla Coke.

I was hungry for a homemade burger yesterday, but had my leftover pasta. It was spinach tortellini with homemade pesto sauce with sauteed garlic and onions.

If you like Big Macs, you like my homemade version of 'special sauce.'

2 Tbls. Wishbone Deluxe French Dressing
3 Tbls. Kraft Miracle Whip
1/4 tsp. Heinz Horseradish Cream (I use Bertman's Ball Park)
2 Heinz Dill Pickles finely chopped (or whatever pickle you like)
1/2 small white onion finely chopped
pinch of salt
three pinches of sugar

Make a few hours before and chill before using. You can adjust each ingredient until you get what you like. Take it easy on the horseradish cream. It can easily overpower everything else, which is NOT what you want.

The secret to making a homemade Big Mac is make the burger patty thin. Thick burger patties just don't work. Just add lettuce, a slice a cheese on the lettuce and one on the burger, and you're there. You can also add extra pickle slices and finely chopped onion, too. For best results, use a burger patty right off the grill to assemble the burger, and wait about 10 minutes before consuming. Your patients will be rewarded.

And so, today I had Solid Lifters' Homemade Big Macs!

After school today stopped at the Kal·bi·Q truck a block away and got a bulgogi taco. Pretty good, although a bit heavy on the chipotle sauce.

And for dinner went to Punjabi Tandoor to get some delicious curry. Love this place. One of my Indian friends says it’s the only Indian place in San Diego that he likes. Their food doesn’t look like much and the place is in the back of an industrial center, but the herbs and spices they use are just :censored:ing incredible.

Sage, you are an insensitive monster. I'm booking my flight.

Oh, forgot to mention, I tried the Jumbo Mexican Funnel Cake challenge at the SD Fair on Independence Day.

(Again, not my picture – just a random one I found off Flickr that gives you an idea of how big the stupid thing is. One of my friends took pictures of me eating it, but hasn’t uploaded it to FB yet.)

You have to eat the whole thing in <30 minutes to get it for free. My stomach was actually hurting right before I tried it, and I had just had a turkey leg and about a half gallon of water, so I failed miserably at about 1/2 done 20 minutes in. =/ Although one thing is that it’s a Mexican funnel cake, which means it’s basically a super long extruded churro and they dump a huge bowl of sugar on it, so the sugar felt really gross after about 5 minutes in.

Quick tip for all the college kids out there: It's good to make a big soup or something on the weekend and leave the leftovers in the fridge for quick meals throughout the week. However, do not-- I repeat, do not-- consume a quart of vegetable beef soup right before you have to go to a lecture.

I grew up on Japanese style curry, which is very different from other curries.

I do enjoy Indian curry quite a bit, but it's the Thai/Vietnamese curry I don't care for. Do they use cinnamon in those or something? It's not just in the curry, and I can't stand that spice, whatever it is.

I agree with the Omnis' take, by the way. Solid's homemade Big Mac looks good, too.

Edit:

That stuff is criminal to me. We should take our time, really taste, really enjoy meals. I go lunch with my coworkers who are as picky as I am about lunches, yet, they just dump the food in their mouths, finishing it almost twice my speed. They say I eat too slow, but I'm about average for male. They eat like garbage disposals man, I'm not even kidding. There's even one funny story about the "Two Big Mac" Meal at the Micky D's. For once, I think I'm keeping pace with this guy. Seconds later, I discover that he actually finished the Big Macs so fast, I hadn't realized that the boxes were actually empty, with the last chunk the Big Mac in his hands!

Yeah it totally sucked. When I returned from the bathroom, my book and papers were all over the floor and the class was empty. Great day to cut class short, professor.

I was talking about the "insensitive monster" part, and how did the stuff end up on the floor?

Oh right. Yeah, I sit next to the door (for just such an occasion, funnily enough) and all the students storming out the door probably knocked over some of my things. I was only gone for 10 minutes... class was let out like an hour early apparently.

edit: Also, don't eat Boston Cream Pie for breakfast. Or maybe the lesson is don't eat boston cream pie and then vegetable beef soup.

Domino's Order Tracker, while completely unnecessary, is completely awesome.

Apparently Lacey double-checked my order (2 medium 2 topping and some chocolate dessert thing) for perfection at 4:36. Delivery is imminent.

Edit: Zachary left the store with your order at 4:42. Did I mention that this is awesome?

Anything involving the combination of pizza and internet is right up there with bacon + anything. I realized I could order pizza online a few years ago, and I haven't called for it in years.

...and on that subject... DINNER.

Pizza Hut P'Zone. Essentially a medium pizza, and had a coupon for half price, so it might actually be a crime if I didn't get it :D

Amos?!?! That was my Year 8 Teacher, she was evil :scared:

On-Topic, just finished breakkie... Milo Cereal :p

You drink a lot of diet I've noticed.
I do. I'm skinny, so it's not at all about the calories, but in some soda, I find the sugar overwhelming. I still drink Coca Cola Classic once in awhile, and there are some, like woot beer :p that I drink only regular.
