Quite like smoothies myself. Had one for breakkie before school a while ago.
Just finished a HotLukewarm Chocolate + A tsp of decaf coffee. Still tasted nice though 👍

Ramen egg drop soup 👍

I've got a cauldron of marinara sauce on the stove simmering away... can't wait for it to be ready :dopey:

So, are the eggs fried before you drop them in, or do you cook it with the noodles?

I LOVE ramen, but weird thing Japanese people do is dropping raw egg onto the ready noodle right before serving. I love raw eggs, but even I think it makes the ramen taste worse(can't say bad, I do like ramen & raw eggs, just separately lol).

Mango. What a weird fruit. Tastes so different in each bite. It's a cross between a peach, pineapple, cantalope (musk melon) and a orange. Very weird fruit, while being awesome at the same time.

We used to have a bigass mango tree. Had to cut it down because it took a dump all over the patio and pool every year, and the dogs were super allergic.

If you want to do something really good with the mango, cut it up into little cubes and make vanilla ice cream with mango bits. Thank me later.

Very true, about Mango.

I just finished some chips with salsa, black pepper beef stick from 7-Eleven and their big thing of Diet Coke. Man, they were so good, it's not even funny. 👍

I don't eat much ice cream. But, if I had vanilla ice cream right now, and thanks to our weather I wish I did, I'd do one of the four following with it:

1. Put a bunch of Double Stuff Oreos in a bag and smash them up. Mix it with the soft ice cream and top with bigger chunks of DSO.

2. Freeze some fresh strawberries and then thaw on the counter. Smush them in the bag and pour out the contents and mix well into ice cream.

3. Add a few pieces of chocolate brownie and mix them together.

4. Top with Khalua.

I once tried Creme de Menth and a dark chocolate bar years ago, but it was bad. Very bad.

I guess I'll have to try you 'Mango and Vanilla Ice Cream' sometime next week.

It works best if you actually have an ice cream maker and put the mango bits into it with the cream.

I've tried to find some kind of ice cream that's made like that already, but all the mango ice cream is actually just yellow, mango-flavored ice cream. A homogeneous mix like that is disgusting-- you don't want that. You want a heterogeneous vanilla with little mango cubes. The vanilla will leach some of the mango flavor out of the cubes, so you get this really awesome creamsicle subtlety to it.

I put a little tiny bit of tequila in my long island iced tea, just to see how it would taste. Totally ruined the flavor. Maybe it has a bad interaction with the cointreau that I'm using in place of triple sec.

Just got back from Karl Strauss – they have Cask Night on thursdays, where they sell one-offs for that night only. They had Belgian Tripel today, and holy 🤬 it was excellent. ABV of 9.0%, but you wouldn’t know it by how sweet and creamy it was.

Oh and I had my typical Karl Strauss standby of their BBQ cheeseburger with garlic parm fries. But who cares.

They brew their own? I remember having Defiant's Belgian Tripel whlie in New york and it was probably the best beer I've ever tasted. Had a good kick, too.

Yup, it’s a microbrewery with a small chain down here. And recently they’ve started bottling their stuff, so you can literally go into any supermarket in SD and pick up a six pack of one of their standard beers.

A proper long island should have tequila in it to begin with.

When I'm lazy, I buy this, which is actually pretty good if you use the right amount:

I'm not a big beer person, and this area doesn't have a lot of good lesser-known options, but there's an amazingly good pub nearby called Chester's that stocks almost 200 different ones from around the world. Had a cherry one there last time that was utterly fantastic, but was then told by the owner that the brewery was probably closing, and that would probably be the last bottle I'd get to have :(

Woops... just finished eating a sundried tomato flavoured wrap stuffed with leftover chunks of yesterday's barbequed chicken, some sharp cheddar, a little bit of lettuce, and some sriracha. Needed a snack.

Some Cheese Supreme Doritos. I'm doing homework now and they're supposed to be a kinda reward. But screw that :dunce::lol:

No it doesn't. That makes it a texas tea or something like that. Whatever it's called, it tastes best without the tequila.

I ate 5 slices of pepperoni & sausage pizza. I was starving and I was feeling depressed at the time. That was around 8. I feel fat, but I'm not full.

Barbeque Ribeye Steak, Velveeta Bacon & Cheese Scalloped Potatoes, Nacho Cheese Doritos, and some Chocolate Milk.
I've been eating good lately.

Could Sonic possibly put any more salt on these tater tots? Oh, I see, there's an illustration of a cup of tots pouring salt on itself right here on the real cup of tots that actually has had salt poured all over it.

Homemade burritos. Vanilla ice cream with mango chunks. Tastes like a mango creamsicle, like Omnis said it would.

Speaking of ice cream, one of the only things I really, really miss about europe is the Magnum bars. Is there any way to get one in the US? I would slap a priest for one of those.
