Wife’s with her friends. Daughter is at a birthday party. Good time to experiment for me. 😜
New IPA to try.
Vice Beer- “Bob, youre cut off” west coast IPA. 6.5% ABV and 74 IBU’s.
Visually, it’s almost see through with a pale straw color. Well carbonated with tiny bubbles continually rising from the bottom of the glass. A fluffy head dissipated after the first sip and left beautiful lacing on the glass.
On the nose, it’s sweet. Like warm pears. Not much else. I was hoping for a little more piney notes considering it’s a west coast IPA.
On the palate ,it’s good. Here is where the pine shines through. But it’s not a palate wrecker at 74 IBU’s. There are other profiles in the beer as well. Like honey suckle and prickly pear.
It’s not a beer that says I’m a really good representation of a WC IPA but I’d have again over something else.
