Nathan's probably does better burgers than hot dogs...

This one is called Hell's Kitchen, with bacon and raw Jalapeños. Hot, but doesn't linger, and I love their fries.

I made a steak and ale casserole for dinner with my Mum tonight, served with buttered bread, new potatoes and steamed greens.

I used Orkney Dark Island Dark Ale, a lovely chocolately beer - half went into the casserole, and Mum and I had a half glass each with the food - my first alcoholic beverage in over 4 months (and I'm struggling to drink it, but it is perfectly matched for the food!)

That's two proper meals in a row, and I'm pretty happy with this one - it was very tasty, and there's enough left over to make a small pie tomorrow too.

-

And for dessert, the remnants of a tub of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food - my old favourite that I've not had for years; my diet is not supposed to contain too much sugar, but I am supposed to be eating high fat options for everything, so I don't feel too guilty.

It will, however, be interesting to see if I feel any worse than last night after a proper dinner and dessert, but hopefully it is all on the plus side of the ledger - eating well and keeping a good appetite is mega-important to me right now, but being able to enjoy a treat as well is a real bonus.

Wife brought home a double cheese burger meal from McD’s. It lasted all of a few minutes and was damn tasty, but I feel like I’d get better nutritional intake from eating my sports shoes.

They have a bit of a twang to them.

Good, you've tried these because this brand is on sale at the supermarket I live in go to and was wondering if they'd be good. I wasn't going to use them for anything other than throwing on pizzas...and maybe snacking on 'em.

I was woken up at 12:15am with the absolute worst heartburn I've ever had and threw them away.

Avoid!

Drinking from: A jumbo minecraft cooling metal glass of minecraft with creeper logos all over.

Drinking: Fresh water.

Eating: Munchies.

This Kielbasa breakfast burrito looks funny, but it was great. Hash browns, cheese, eggs, beans, spinach and onions cooked down. Not bad.

Then I made salmon. It was pre seasoned, so I left it as is and cooked it with olive oil, added water to the pan to steam cook it a bit then added a little butter then flame broiled the top.

I decided to eat the section that got crispy.

Then the pasta is just roasted tomatoes, spinach, garlic and a little spoonful of half and half, along with herb seasonings and butter. I used the pasta water starch to cook down a simple sauce.
