I’ve found one burrito shop that genuinely takes me back to California in Baltimore, though my meal was missing the lemon and lime wedge.

This was a steak special with no added rice (I got it on the side though).

For breakfast, we had some French Toast, some sausage patties, 4 croissants, 4 pancakes and some bananas. Then for lunch we had 2 turkey subs on white bread and some Lay's Simply Sea Salted potato chips. We'll decide what to eat for dinner later on this evening. We got up early at 6:30am this morning.

Had a terrible stir fry - I used beef that was part of a stir fry meal deal from a local supermarket, and it was horrible.

I should have listened to the reviews...

... ironically, the 'deal' used to not include any meat, and I used to buy some lovely beef from the butcher counter in the same shop (and I still do... my sister bought this lot for us...) and I've never had a problem; indeed, it is usually really good.

I don't understand why or how it can be so bad - I know how to cook beef... I even marinaded it, but it was nasty; and it's not like it is that cheap either ($24 a kilo...). Lesson learned.

The chicken was dry and the dry rub they put on it was pretty much hot for the sake of being hot but had no flavor to it. I'm not planning on going back.

The waffle fries were good, though.
