So tonight is going to be, Aberdeen Angus Quater Pounders with cheese and brioche buns etc.

Then BBQ Grilled Chicken Thighs with some more Greek Salad.

I haven’t cooked the above yet but prepared the salad.

That looks amazing - even more so because it's a salad that I would actually eat! Superb photo as well!

Must admit, we’re suckers for Greek Salad.

Got the chicken on early.

I felt like having another pizza. Domino’s New York Style pepperoni and banana peppers.

I had a Domino's last night for the first time in a year - it was good, but it was nothing like the one pictured in your post; yours looks like a proper NY-style pizza, whereas Domino's here is considerably less 'authentic'; and I now wonder why I used to order them quite so often... it says it all, really, that the highlight is the chicken side.

Made a platter of summer deli stuff - olives, prosciutto, Milano salami, chorizo, with slices of crusty bread and grapes - including four kinds of cheese: provolone, edam, feta and a cheese so good they made a movie about it, Philadelphia.

Looks fantastic. I’ll be making something similar today, but I got some Swedish rye crisps, salami and cornichons. I have this interesting caramelized onion cheddar I want to try it all with.

Back in my day, the USDA and FDA considered this a “heart healthy” breakfast. Valtteri Bottas also had this to win the 2019 Australian Grand Prix, earning himself the nickname “Porridge Boss”.

A big early bowl of porrrrriiiidddggeeee!

And a latte elsewhere.

A shawarma place opened near my old flat a couple of years back and I couldn't wait for a decent place to open in my neighbourhood.

It was soooooo disappointing - the meat was horrible and greasy, it was stupidly expensive, the place was dirty after being open for under a week, the service was shocking, and - most alarmingly - the amount that came out of my bank account did not match what was rung up on the card machine when I paid. I never went back.

My trusty old kebab dive shop near work started to do a doner wrap, using an old skool blacksmith's iron to give it an extra bit of grilling just before serving, and it was fantastic - so much so that I would always insist on not taking any change from a £10, but they would never accept the extra - indeed, the last time I was there, they refused my tip and gave me a free bottle of ice cold water!

All the times I’ve watched this scene, and this is the first time I’ve noticed that Hawkeye has his foot on Black Widow’s chair. Like, dude, inappropriate and rude!
As I'm sure you know by now, Captain America covering Chris Evans's Snowpiercer beard was really embarrassing. Perhaps it was the fake jaw he was ashamed of as it's Henry Cavill bad.

Cavill and Paramount made the right choice imo btw - Mission Impossible: Fallout was a way better movie than WB's Justice League was.

I don't know how they are making any money on this but I got a "Build your own Luxe Cravings Box" from Taco Bell for lunch.

$6.29 for a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco, Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and a Mountain Dew Baja Midnight.

Ordered individually it would be $14.56. The Gordita alone is $5.99. :odd:

I got the Jack in the Box Philly Munchie Meal today. “A Philly-Style Double Bonus Jack with melty cheese and grilled onions and peppers, plus 2 of Jack’s famous tacos, regular curly fries, a regular drink and one of 8 collectible Jibbis.” Hated it. Which is a very rare thing for this blorbo to say about any fast food. The sandwich had a weirdly wet and slick feel, probably because of the red and green peppers. The Doctor Pepper I ordered was also bad. It tasted like the syrup was running low, so it was mostly just the carbonated water. At least the fries and tacos were good. Oh, and a Jibbi is a little chibi Jack keychain charm. I got the pink one named Sweetie.

These traditional kebab shops are the best, especially if you're a regular!

Slightly off-topic, but when I was living in Turkey in ‘86/‘87, roadside kebap and çai stalls were the absolute best places to stop for a bite and a drink. I was always treated well, and the food and drink were always delicious.

The price of Taco Bell is simply offensive now.

This is what I had.

A turkey, salami lavash wrap with a little yogurt and mayo for a spread. Added some pepperjack cheese and cheddar cheese, etc.

Let me tell you about when Taco Bell tried to enter the Mexican market... It went as well as trying to open a certain Straight of Warm Ooze.
I‘m assuming Taco Bell is to Mexican food what Olive Garden is to Italian cuisine in the US.

I have never tried authentic Mexican food since I haven’t been to Mexico (yet). But you just made me remember trying Taco Bell when I was living in the US for a year (student exchange program) and thinking it tasted like a disassembled cheeseburger with more salsa. Couldn‘t even finish it. 😂

Straight of Warm Ooze.
What you get from the RFK Jr approved cyclospora.

Side story: Taylor Farms has been identified as the source of the outbreak. My best friend was a QA manager at Taylor Farms up until about four years ago. They doubled the size of the HR department, who then recommended they cut the size of the QA department by a third. And now half of America has explosive diarrhea.

A Taco Bell would be further apart from Mexican tacos than Olive Garden is to Italian cuisine, IMO.

@Populuxe I remember a time when they warned to "not to drink the water" if you visited Mexico... and now the USA gets Moctezuma's revenge!
