Some of what you'd get in the UK at a work canteen would make you laugh... or cry. Or barf.

Same with a lot of the slop you‘d get offered in most German canteens tbh.

The entire meal @CMGMS posted would easily cost around 25-30 Euros at a restaurant over here.

So... there is now a Chipotle restaurant in Mexico. It's located in the northern city of Monterrey, and them northerners are sort of Americanized (at least many of them think so), so let's see how it goes.

But if you ever visit Mexico and want to try a Mexican food chain restaurant, just go for Toks.

I had a "salad" before the meal came. It was a bowl of lettuce and shredded carrots with dressing. So pretty much the same thing, just more of it.

A Shake Shack burger and a side of fries (obviously not pictured). Hmm, nothing special really, and the fries were bland. The cost was about US$12, so it's OK I guess... Sure, it beats McD and BK, but not Carl's Jr.

For me, Shake Shack is usually good when you're in a mall or in an airport.
