Wild rice, wild mushroom, and asparagus risotto

Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Peanut and Chocolate bar - breakfast of kings 👍

Unless you have a nut allergy and it's your final meal.

Glass of milk here. Cools me down on a warm day. Oh yes, 16C qualifies as a warm day at the beginning of April.

Sesame Seed Ryvitas topped with sardines in tomato sauce & a Mars bar.

Close. I don't like their chili cheese fries, and I'm not a fan of chocolate unless in bar/candy form.

2/3lb Monster Thick Burger though...
Nobody's perfect. :p

Frittata. Chicken, Broccoli, carrots, scallions, tomato, cheddar 👍

I've joined you. Fried spaghetti leftovers...

I don't know about you guys, but I think spaghetti tastes best when it's been in the fridge for a night. Then warm it up in the oven, put some cheeze on it afterwards, and put it back in the oven on "grill". Now there's some tasty spaghetti 👍

How do you go about putting spaghetti on a grill? It would just fall off... Or is it something different where you live?

I think that'd be our broil. I think.

And it's on grill, not a grill.

I still havn't tried that yet. I should get on it...

Nobody's perfect. :p

Well, I didn't even have the Monster Thickburger. I ended up not having to go anywhere so I just made some creamy chicken ramen and melted some bacon cheese (yes, there is such a thing...and it is AMAZING) in it.

He probably means he put it in the broiler.

edit: doh, tree'd by the almighty leader of the church of TB

Not a problem. There is a clause in The Book of ThickBurger that allows for the occasional consumption of grindage other than ThickBurgers.

Hardee's Chapter 4, Verse 8: And on that day, Zebadiah raised his head up and, behold! In front of him he saw a goat and the goat said "Never fear, young Zebadiah. Thou shalt eat not only ThickBurgers, but also any other foodstuffs that ye find, provided said foodstuffs be drenched with bacon cheese."

Verse 9: And Zebadiah rejoiced.

You must become quicker, grasshopper.

Try pan frying it with some margarine!

I've got no idea what the correct term for it is, the manual describes it as the grill option :p But yeah, the word would probably be "to broil", thanks 👍

Yes! Oh my gosh that is so delicious! When the pasta's cooked ready, drained, I often throw in a bit of butter (a very salted one), which makes the smell and taste of the pasta out of this world! Carbs FTW!

Yes master.

edit: So I went to Hardees yesterday to obey the scriptures and buy a Monster Thick Burger...and the Hardees had closed down! :grumpy:

So I had Krystal (White Castle) instead.

At least there is another Hardees on the other side of town...

I just made another visit to a long-lived local joint called the Hamburger Wagon down the road in Miamisburg.

HamburgerWagon-copy.jpg

They've parked that 100 year old wagon/cash cow for, well, 100 years in Downtown Miamisburg, amongst all the old downtown buildings and on the an island in the middle of a traffic circle right next to the Miamisburg Historical Society building. Just in my life time it's been through three owners, from a couple grumpy old men when I was little, to a woman who introduce *gasp* a soda cooler and potato chips to the business model. Now she's done so well with the business that she's sold it and moved to Hawaii. Thankfully the new owner doesn't plan to change the forumla.

Beef fried in a grease pan over a propane flame, with dill pickles, fresh cut onions, salt, and pepper. Mmm mmm, delicious. You can even spring for a double if you want. Local food is awesome.
