Hit my favorite Japanese/Asian grocery store, Uwajimaya today. Got their deli combo meal of pork adobo/fried tofu&egg plant/pork&veggie. I eat too much.

I haven't had Arby's in forever. There used to be one in town, but it closed. Dammit, i want some now.

Drove a round trip of 50 miles to get two Arby's Beef 'N' Cheddars. They were even more awesome than I remembered them.

Should I say you're welcome or apologize for the long drive*?

* I have 2 Arby's within 2 miles of my house.

Left over Pei Wei Thai noodles with beef, tomatoes, snap peas and carrots. A pint of Hobgoblin ale. All with Pink Floyd on the stereo.

Joey...

Hobgoblin ale? I'm intrigued, what is this Hobgoblin ale?

As for me I just finished up some M&M Peanuts, and am waiting for the White Castle to arrive....saw Harold and Kumar one too many times and I've got the craving.

It actually sounds pretty good, but I wouldn't be able to get any of this would I?

I don't see why not, it's imported into the states. I buy it here from time to time at a speciality market. I have to imagine there are beer markets near you, we have four in my area alone. My favourite place I go to lets you mix and match your own six pack from over 300 different kinds of beer...it's the old kid/candy store thing.

There just happens to be two markets very close to me. One that's literally around the corner and the other is upward a block or two.

Not too sure about the former as I've only seen wine. Seems I've got a search on my hands.

Ordered two large pizzas from Little Caesars for about 10 bucks. Drank reduced fat milk with it as I had no available water (The tap water is disgusting). Me and my bro finished one box and saving the second for tomorrow.

Sweet potato, Broccoli and Cottage Cheese.

A bit of a change up from my usual Chicken, SP and Broccoli. Ran out of chicken last night and had the choice of playing with the wife, or going to the grocery store.

Will pick up more chicken tonight. :D

Breakfast was Protein Shake (With instant Coffee), and Oatmeal.

1:00, I'll have a Meal Replacement Shake.

At 3:30 I'll have the rest of the Cottage Cheese (3 servings) and more SP, and Broccoli.

Yummy!

Just came back from Dirty Birds – they have all-day Tuesday happy hours, so I got 12 chicken wings for 6 bucks, a huge plate of tater tots for 4 bucks, and split a pitcher of Fat Tire with a friend for 7 bucks (as in, I paid $3.50 for half a pitcher!). ’Twas a good night. :) (Although am I the only one who thinks pale ales are in general too sweet?)

From my favorite local Chinese restaurant, Wu's Open Kitchen, "Chicken in Brown Sauce".......... I'm about to open the take-out containers after this post, I have no idea what this brown sauce is. I am little nervous, but they make my favorite Kung Pow Chicken, so I trust them. :D

Monday I got Joe's Meal Deals at Flanigans, plus a pitcher of iced tea for Mexican Monday. That means you get a mountain of loaded nachos with your pitcher of whatever drink. The meal deal is any kind of entre and side, and you get a cesar salad and garlic rolls and a drink. I got a full rack of ribs. I love me some Flanigans.

Then yesterday we went to Gran Chimu, a peruvian place. We had Ceviche shrimp, Jalea Mixta (fried seafood), and I had Lomo Saltado, which is like a mix of grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes, and beef on top of french fries in a brown sauce. It was great.

It was, what, the 10th day in a row I didn't feel like cooking. So, I had a salad. Gouda cheese, kidney beans, 1,000 Island dressing and ice cold lettuce. Perfect for a 102 humid day.

Right now, it's bottles of ice cold water.

I havn't had dill pickle chips in a long time. Maybe I'll pick a bag up this weekend...

This weekend we will be grilling out some cheddarwurst and brats and burgers and washing it down with some Landshark lager.

I hear you should never have to garnish a beer, the orange just fits so well though.

👍 I love wheat beers.

Went to Hash House the other morning. Nice, big portions of great food. I got the salmon hash, which basically looks like this but with salmon instead of corned beef:

Land shark is brewed just north of me, I love it!. Wheat beers are my thing I've been realizing lately. Land shark with a side of lime WHIPS a Corona. IMO.

Tomorrow it's going down, Bison burgers, beer brats, all the fixin's...I can't wait to eat! Perhaps I can get pictures before they get demolished? Anyhow, I'm more than excited to drink lot's of beer and eat more than enough food! Labor Day weekend!!

I used to live in Jacksonville where Landshark is brewed. :) It's not bad, very comparable to Corona, and cheaper too.

People have been mixing iced tea and lemonade since they invented 'em.

Also, chocolate with almonds is epic win.

I had that very same ice tea for the first time, earlier this week. It was so damn good, I was telling my coworker about it at work today.

After work, bunch of us went to a restaurant ran by my friend's cousin. I was about to order something boring again, then, I found out this Buffalo Burger I saw on the menu actually was a Buffalo Burger. I had to try it, and it was DAMN good. 👍 It easily got into my list of best burgers. Buffalo tasted like a tastier version of beef. It really did.

On a sad side note, the guy who recommended me the buffalo, after he had a few too many drinks, he kept harassing me, and we almost went at it. I love the dude(not in that way, not that there is anything wrong with it), but the whole thing brought the bad-me back, I'm afraid. We apologized, and were hugging by the time we got out onto the parking lot. But as I'm typing this, I'm just wanting to be ................a jerk(?) again. I hope I'm just excited right now, and settle down after a good night sleep.

Buffalo is awesome. It's just a leaner beef without tasting like it. The problem with Buffalo meat is that because it's leaner, food suppliers put a lot more fat into grind (thereby making it less lean than cattle beef in a lot of cases). It's a marketing jackpot.
