Here in SoCal, at the local supermarkets, we have Tina's Burritos. They're the most disgusting, greasy, low-budget, toxic concoction ever created for human consumption, next to Hot Pockets. I still eat them today, for some odd reason.

Oh, I had leftover bami tonight.

I heard the same. That's why yesterday I had my usual pizza for my birthday party.

Last night, it was leftover German Deli brats and sauerkraut with mustard on poppy seed rolls.

10 oz. Cleaver Cut served rare (as you can plainly see), topped with garlic butter and sauteed mushrooms and served with french fries. I bought the mrs. a similar meal, her's being Surf 'n' Turf. $45 very well spent.

The first orange of the season off my orange tree(s). OMG! That was the best orange I ever had!

This year, it's going to be a great year for oranges! It was a warm Summer and a cold Winter. That makes for the sweetest oranges.

I've got two orange trees. One navel (eating orange) and one hamlin (juicing orange). Also have a grapefruit tree, but can't eat those. Drug interaction with my meds. I tried a tangerine about 10-12 days ago and it was too sour. They usually take longer to sweet'n up compared to the oranges, so I eat them last.

Smoked herring. The German Deli had Atlantic herring, fresh herring! I couldn't believe my eyes. Smoked half, fried the other half, but after I had some raw.

I cooked some steak, and fixed a salad. Steak was delicious, salad could have been better, my brother agrees.

Mmmm......Pepper Steak, mash & vegies for me tonight.

Pepper Steak is my favourite of all the steak toppings, closely followed by Steak Diane. Wish the stomach was up for the food action right this second, feel sick after a bike ride earlier, it's been over 15yrs since I had to ride one of those 🤬 and obviously ended up chicken legged after it.

But the food smells too good so I'm off for dinner and to try and make the iron gut hold it in. 👍

It’s Restaurant Week in San Diego, so went to Albie’s Beef Inn and for $20 got clam chowder, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, twice-baked potato, and raspberry cheesecake. I was quite happy that they were willing to cook the filet mignon relatively rare.
