2 tall boy Newcastle's after work..... I can't wait because it has been in the 90's for the past couple of days:tup::cheers:

Dunkin Donuts apparently has forgotten how to fill a berliner. They stick the needle/filler wand thing so far into the donut that all the creme and jelly and stuff is on the far side opposite the hole. Really annoying.

Grilled cheese sammich on white bread, Lay's potato chips and some Tropicana Lemonade.

Why did I capitalize the "L" in lemonade?
:dunce:

Just be happy you have an actual donut shop, the only donuts you can buy around here are the ones from gas stations. There is one actual shop, but I have seen how un-sanitary they are so I won't touch them.

Also, I'm a little annoyed because I got a manager's special donut in my dozen. It was a chocolate frosted with peanuts on top instead of sprinkles. I asked the girl if it was just like a chocolate frosted with peanuts instead of sprinkles. She said yes. So I got one.

Then I get home and pick it up only to realize that it's a ****ing CAKE donut. Who the hell chocolate-frosts a cake donut? Also, there is a huge difference between yeast and cake donut... apparently this hasn't crossed the mind of little miss donut picker.

Amateurs.

I happen to love raspberry icing covered chocolate donuts as well the chocolate icing covered chocolate cake donuts. 0/2

Eating homemade bison jerky.

Yeah, actually the chocolate and cake part was pretty good. The peanuts definitely didn't go though.

Why is it that all the things you remember being good to eat when you were a kid all taste like crap now?

Exhibit A:

And I still have 2 more packs... :yuck:

Didn't know they still made those.
It would probably have been in the best best interest of the Earth if they would just go away and stay there.

My supper endeavor was much better, at least taste wise. I marinated some thick, boneless pork chops, threw them on the grill and can't hardly eat any because the boys are eating it faster than I can cut it up. :ouch:

Guess that's better than them tasting like crap and no one touching them.

I wish there was no Pork. I wish that Bacon came from all it's body parts.

Bacon > Pork.

And yes, they're pretty much the same thing. But different bits are used for different things. They should just use it all for Bacon *yum*

Now: Not eating Bacon, sadly :( Still drinking Pepsi. (On a saturday night, god my life sucks :P)

TB
Then this wonderful, magical animal shouldn't taste so damn good.

It doesn't when I grill pork chops. :dopey: But that's generally the case with food, unless it's Pop Rocks or something. ;)

A Fortune Cookie.

"Reward Yourself With A Much-Deserved Gift"
-Paper inside

So I got Another one.

Pork is bad for you anyway

Pork tenderloin has less fat than most chicken parts and about equal to boneless chicken breast.

For cooking all day long, (actually preparing food) we had KFC. I did the DD thing. Pretty good, but needs more bacon.

So today, I spent all day making my American Potato salad, brined two whole chickens, applied rub to 4 slabs of spare ribs and 4 slabs of beef ribs. I made homemade California dip, my homemade avocado & jalapeño dip, homemade spicy bean dip and the usual Bell green onion dip. I also have a crock pot of Boston baked beans cooking. All for tomorrow and Monday. I also made homemade chocolate frozen custard (way better than ice cream 'cause it has more milk fat) with Droste cocoa powder, from Holland. Makes the best hot cocoa, so I figure it would make great frozen custard. I was right!

Couldn't eat any of this, since it's for tomorrow and Monday (Memorial Day Holiday here in the USA), but I couldn't resist sampling the chocolate frozen custard. Awesome! 👍

Grandma's brand chocolate chip cookies.

They're pretty nasty... taste like grandma was cremated and poured into the mix.
