Thanks Lifters, will be trying that in the near future.👍

Currently I'm eating "teeth rotters"

Nothing like sugar coated in sugar.
Haven't had them in forever, forgot how good they are.

I basically have a digestive tract of steel, so I pretty much never have any, uh, “irregularities”. About the only thing that consistently upsets my system is L&L.

Swedish Fish. I haven't had these since I was in middle school, they still have that weird fruity taste and waxy texture. I could eat on these all day .

I take it that's like west coast Pollo Tropical. Pollo Tropical is hella good but gives your colon a last-chance workout.

Don't ever use flavored chips, like Doritos. It will taste like ass. I didn't have tortilla chips one time and used Doritos once and only once. :yuck:

I think it depends on where you are. In Australia its very hard to find tortilla chips so I substituted them for plain doritos 'lightly salted ones'. Worked quite well. Great recipe.

Hey guys, if you have Torrone (Turron) this holiday season, don't put a piece in your mouth and hold it between your lips while your hands are busy.

I broke off a piece and put it in my mouth while I made a cup of coffee, and when I went to take it out of my mouth to bite off a piece, it had adhered and ripped the skin off my bottom lip. Ouch.

never heard of the stuff.

Just ingested a homemade panini with chicken, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and mozzarella with a side of ritz crackers. Now i'm eating some ritz crackers covered in nutella that I wrapped in foil and baked.

Torrone are weird because they can be either delicious or absolutely disgusting. Ferrara ones are inedible and gross. I got a spanish brand of them though and it was delicious. They're basically a crunchy nougat candy with almonds in 'em. Kinda like peanut brittle, except with nougat.

I just had a homemade toasted sub. Delish.

That sounds dangerous to have around the house.

I've totally seen that stuff somewhere but I can't remember where. I don't think I've ever had it. Maybe I've seen it in Gatlinburg? Not sure why Italian sweets would be there but they've got their share of pastries and candies.

Leftover night. First up - penne with sausage and red and yellow peppers followed by shrimp scampi then garlic bread.

And I still want some of that damn torrone...

Disgusting crap... :yuck:

Orange Chicken with Carrots and Soy Beans

Just one of those frozen "just add 'whatever' and serve" dinners. It tasted like a frozen orange popsicle with too much salt melted over something that's supposed to be chicken with chewy carrots (obviously spoiled) and extra firm (bad genetically engineered) soy beans. Yuck! I took a few bites and then had a bowl of plain rice.

It was 82 outside, so that means BBQ here in SoCal. Especially after the weather has been cold.

We had BBQ quesadillas. We had some cheddar and colby loaf left, mexican cheese, from the taco beef casserole and made the best meal of the week. Simple and easy, yet AWESOME.

The difference between a NUKED quesadilla and a BBQued one is massive. The smokey taste just makes it for me. It's like NY pizza. New York pizza is great because of the coal ovens they use to cook it. Same is true for the quesadillas.

Trust me and fire up the BBQ (lump charcoal ones, not the gas kind) and grill up some quesadillas right. While you're at it, fire roast some onions, garlic, tomatoes and jalapenos first for the homemade salsa. Awesome.

Now on to the 3rd Degree!
And two weeks later I finally get my hands on some and all I can say is... hot damn!

Edit: Now that I've downed a few, they aren't all that bad. I still like the taste of the 2nd Degree Burns the best of the three. 👍

What I have every Halloween with my boys, Manwhich. It's a tradition I had when I was 7 years old.

Going from 3rd Degree Burn Doritos to Sour Patch Kids candy (stolen from the kids' Halloween buckets no less! :O) is proving to be a bad idea. My mouth doesn't know what the hell is going on.

Market Pantry Red Velvet Chocolate Milk. It's a good thing this stuff is so rich otherwise I might drink it all tonight. And I sure as hell don't need it.

Supper was a Devil's Spit burger from Famous Daves. At least this time the waiter didn't try to warn me that it was really, really hot. Which it isn't. At all.

They really do talk that stuff up, kind of funny really.

Have you ever tried their Kahula brownies? They're horribly good(horrible health wise as it's a big brownie, fudge and ice cream, there's also some Kahula somewhere in there obviously).
