Half an apple with peanut butter.

Crab cakes tonight. Already made and out of the fridge to bring them up to room temperature.

Had a rich sausage casserole with cabbage w/ bacon earlier, so decided to crack open a bottle of Schneider Aventinus weizenbock which went pretty well with it. Have to be careful with this stuff too as it's very good and doesn't taste its 8.2% ABV at first :)

About to make Atomic Buffalo Turds, Smoked Scotch Eggs and Fatties for the smoker. Going to smoke a turkey breast, too.

So far for Thanksgiving dinner, we are having ABT, SSE and Fatties for appetizers. Then, smoked turkey breast, whipped potatoes, stuffing, corn bread muffins, green beans and cranberry mold for dinner with pumpkin pie for dessert.

Nothing at the moment. However, I will be eating turkey, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, cranberry relish, and green beans.

Turkey in the oven. Will be ready in about 5 hours more. So far a bowl of Cereal in the morning, and at the moment a quick snack, 2 Gansitos (Mexican snack cake)

Turkey and Stuffing, too bad I had to grab very little pie (1/3rd of a slice), can't have too much sweets (due to diabetes.).

Ezell's, Oprah's favorite fried chicken!

I haven't been to Ezell's in about a year now, I may go there for my birthday.

OK, tonight I had a starter of a simple tomato, mozzarella and basil salad followed by a huge seafood stew with a whole crab. Stuffed. 👍

Atomic Buffalo Turds and Jalapeno Scotch Egg appertizers are done! They were so awesome!

Turkey Breast is done smoking, too. Waiting now for dinner to be served with all the trimmings! :)

Solid Lifters that Jalapeño-wrapped in bacon looks really good - it looks like your own version of a "Jalapeño Popper" what kind of cheese did you use?, I'm going to have to try it myself.

At the moment, I'm still too full to eat, turkey-meal was huge and good.

The "Jalapeño Popper" is known as an ABT (Atomic Buffalo Turd). It's made with these usual ingredients: Jalapeno pepper that's sliced in half lengthwise, cored and seeded, cream cheese, cocktail weenie (I used Hebrew National Bun Length Beef Franks cut in fours) and then wrapped in a half slice of bacon. You can change the ingredients around to your liking. Some do cheddar cheese instead of cream cheese and others add chili powder or Frank's Red Hot sauce to the cream cheese. Some folks even coat them in BBQ sauce after a half hour of smoking. Tried that once and didn't like it at all. I smoked with half mesquite and half hickory (my favorite smoking combination) for about an hour and 15 minutes, give or take a few minutes, at 275 degrees F.

They're EXCELLENT! They don't last long in this house! Once they're made, they're gone in seconds!

Thanks Solid Lifters I'm going to try it, but for my taste, I'll leave the seeds and the core (hottest part of the jalapeño), Pepper Jack cheese or Oaxaca cheese. I might use cooked chorizo or longaniza instead of the "weenies". My parents are Mexican so I tend to use Mexican ingredients more. I will also try them your way, I might like them too. It also sounds great, no frying so no fatty oils.

Thanks again

Right now eating: Leftover turkey and stuffing.

The seeds make things bitter, so I tend to remove them. But, I do keep them in when I make my jalapeno-avocado dip. I love the heat. People use chorizo or other pork sausage instead of cocktail weenies. I used to use Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage links, but I got tired of the links shrinking and making the bacon fall apart. Hillshire Farms 'Lil Smokies are very popular, too. I prefer HN beef franks. Again, using what you prefer is key. ABT's can be made very many different ways. Some use habaneros instead of jalapenos!

Oh, and no problemo.

Same exact meal tonight! Only difference was one less slice of smoked turkey, a little less cranberry mold and no whipped cream on the pumpkin pie (not pictured).

Leftover meals usually taste better the following day!

Arby's mid-sized roast beef with curly fries and a Dr. Pepper.

EDIT: And now I want more even though I'm not hungry. It's so damn good.

We had an Arby's in our city, once. The food was so DISGUSTING, health code violations shut them down. Then, Arby's corp pulled out. Then, or city leveled the building down. Now, it's just a square plot of dirt in the middle of a parking lot. They once had decent food there, back in the early to mid 1980's, though.
