I just went down the road for a stir fry. :yuck: Hardly any taste and the texture of gritting salt.

This place dies without me, huh?

Super early this morning (4:30AM), had an onion bagel and cream cheese. For midafternoon snack, had an apple and a handful of blackberries. Dinner was a salad, my latest usual, some homemade navy bean and brown rice soup.

What can we say, you like eating. ;)

I'll contribute: I had grilled salmon (1 filet and three spines and tails) with Brussels sprouts and mushrooms and a slice of bread. Finished with blackberry Tillamook ice cream.

Now drinking red wine.

Last night I had an amazing curried whole bream wrapped in banana leaves and tonight I'm making a bolognese sauce with chickpea pasta. Letting it simmer for 4 hours so it melts together.

Toasted onion bagel with onion and chive cream cheese. Plus, a celery stick with peanut butter topped with a few dates. Glass of egg nog to wash it all down. BTW, $6 for a half gallon of eggnog!!! Sheesh. Good thing I don't drink much of this stuff!

Earlier in the day, my mom made enchiladas, they were good, but too salty for my taste.

At the moment I'm eating an Angry Whopper that my grandma invited me.

That's because stir-fry is found in restaurants, not on roads. At least, the good kind, anyway.

ps bottle of Grand Marnier omg is that tasty

Roasted pheasant last night with all the extras and tonight it's bubble and squeak from the left over veg, sausages and onion gravy.

Mmm, pheasant. If you haven't had it before, find some Wood Pigeon, pan-roasted to a Lamby pink. Nommy.

Nommy indeed. My local Waitrose does pigeon... so much easier than using a skateboard and fishing net in the town square.

I used a 12 guage to get my pigeons. The guys behind the meat counter were FURIOUS!!! (I know, tired joke.)

Had two small slices of gouda, two large handfuls of pistachios and an 'evil banana!!!'

 lol

We feel the same way with this one guy in a cooking web forum I go to. He ALAWYS makes awesome meals. Better than any cook or 'chef' on TV. All his own ideas and always goes all out. Makes his own breads and everything. He has major cooking skills. Not bad for a former attorney.

Ate the last of the Thanksgiving Day smoked turkey breast. In sandwich form with homemade mac salad. Triple chocolate Magnum bar for dessert.

Btw, which variety of 'Evil Banana' did you have - the 'monkey skinner'?

"The Flasher." :D

Had some raw cashews, dates and some leftover rice pilaf for a midnight snack. Oh, and three slices of swiss cheese. It just wouldn't be a 'Solid Lifters' meal without cheese! ;)

Peppered steak slice, and a 1.5l Oasis.

With a bag of onion rings crisps for later. Yummy.

Just finished eating some pork chops with veggies that my grandma made, right now I'm eating lots of fruit (mostly watermelon, bananas, and tangerines)

It's 'clearing out the fridge' day. Had sour cream about to expire and a bag of Wavy Lays that expire today. "What's for dinner, dad?" Sour cream and green onion dip with chips. Also, leftover lyonnaise pototoes, old tortillas and as always plenty of cheese? Potato cheddar cheese burritos, anyone? ;)

Late midnight snack of an onion bagel with chive and onion cream cheese. Honey roasted cashews for dessert.
