I normaly go bumper cam for sims and 3rd person for arcade style games. I'm thinking about going for interior view, just because I found it a bit more challenging in Prologue.

I loved and always used the GT3 follow camera. Where when you slide the car, the camera only moves slowly so you don't feel like your being smashed in the face every slide.

In the GT5 TT I found I was faster in the same view, but the drivers view was more harder and more fun.

F1CE Similiar, except now I'm faster with the roof cam and cockpit cam... but i still use cockpit in that.

So Premium cars, cockpit view 90% of the time, 10% follow cam if its good, otherwise 100% cockpit.

And normal cars, follow cam if its good, otherwise I'll probably just spam this forum with hate crimes and insults until someone releases an update for it to be like GT3.

Probably wil try them all, but I don't see the point in driving different cars (especialyl different skylines or different evos or whatever) if all you see is the road. I want to see something.

I'll be using bumper cam on both premium and standard. Probably throw in cockpit view on the premiums here and there, depending on my mood.

Originally i always used the Bumper view, coming from games like sega rally before getting GT1, but in GT4 they brought in the Bonnet view which i used since.

Then i got a wheel however, and it seems since then i cant drive without the cockpit view. I always said i didnt care that the Standard cars did not have cockpit view, but then i got a wheel and now i'm not sure if il even be able to drive them without it spoiling my gameplay.

I'd use hood cam for both the standards and the premiums as I drive faster that way. If I want to admire my cars interior (obviously only on premiums) I would. But the racing would be done with the hood cam. As I have been using it for all the Forza games so its what I'm used to.

I'm already used to bumper view from all the other GT games.
But I think cockpit/interior cam would provide a bigger sense of reality.
I don't know why, but I get dizzy from the cockpit cam in GTPSP.

I used to be a bumper cam guy. With GT5P, I've converted to cockpit view, and am using a wheel for the first time, highly recommended. :)

When GT5 comes I think I'll be exclusively cockpit view. Which means there are 800 cars +/- I won't be driving. :(

What's the third person dynamic chase cam in GTPSP like? If it's similar to the camera used in GT3 i'll probably use that one. If not it will be the standard chase camera.

Interior view only, don't care for the whole real or not debate, it's the camera angle which gives me the most complete and enjoyable experience.
Taking the loss of some view and loss of some fractions of seconds for granted.
And the modelling is superbly detailed, it's the thing i'm looking forward to the most honestly, all those 950 cars in GT5 being playable from within the interior.

Can't wait.........well, i have to;)
I just opened this thread and read this thinking that's odd, then I realised it was on the first page. I had to give a light-hearted

As for me, hood/roof cam all the way, premium or otherwise.

Thanks for reminding me :grumpy:, it proves for one thing why I'm that bothered about the lack of cockpit view as I clearly stated there it was the thing I was looking forward to the most.
Again thanks a lot Toky...er Mr Frappy for rubbing salt in the wounds....

If we can get a second or modified bumper cam, where the camera is about 2 inches off the tarmac. That'd be a great view, that's up close & personal to the Le Mans F40 infront ( if in ofcourse ).I like greatly styled dashboards, so will use this view too.

Is hood view 100% confirmed for all cars? If yes, then I will use hood view for all cars.

Yeah yeah, talk is easy! You know as well as I do that you (and anybody else who says the same) will end up driving at least a few of the standard cars as they see some old favourites that didn't make the premium grade.

@Sasek, yes, hood cam is for all cars, not just premiums.

Even though I do get better times with the bumper cam, I'll mostly use the interior view for the immersion factor. That is of course, unless I'm using a standard car and then I have no choice but to go with the bumper cam.
