What could we live without in GTS?

Countersteer assist. It should be banned and burned with fire.

An assist that only PD can come up with, I have no issues with real life assist(TSC, ABS) but a computer doing the counterseering instead of the driver himself is complete nonsense.

IMHO, The driving assists must be related to the controller, the countersteer assist must be available only for DS4 players ...

IR

• Online racing
• Rally
• Made-up rally cars for the above
• VGT cars
• Willow Springs circuits
• The overly generous gifting service pretty much makes in-game credits redundant.

- rally
- karts
- whiners

- do not agree with the scapes thing - not a waste of time or resources (one skilled artist can do a couple of them in a day), scapes are pretty popular to date...

Agreed, it's probally hard to drive with a pad so using CSA is fair enough but wheels users should not need this help imo, especially S and A DR drivers. Very dissapointing to see so many ''fast'' drivers in the top 10 times using it.

Delayed visual steering inputs!!!!

I hate how hard it is now to drive the 911 GT3, went from being my fav car to undrivable because of how off putting and unsettling it is!

I tried a GT3 car on the horse thief mile, that wasn't very fun and it didn't go that well for me , but when i changed to the Renault Clio it was much more fun and i even won :gtpflag:.

How do i unlock the kart? There is no kart in the Gran Turismo store, do i have to race online first? Because i don't do that and i have not even completed the sportmanship chapter, so maybe we are rewarded with a kart after watched the 2 videos?
Watch the sportsmanship videos, you'll unlock the kart.

I could live without rally, ovals and all of the Gr.X cars.

I also agree they should drop counter steering assist from sport mode. It's exactly like having a gyro in an RC car. In RC racing gyros are not legal. CS assist shouldn't be allowed in Sport mode at least, but it really shouldn't be in the game at all.

Except for the visuals, all the game itself

I've been thinking the same unfortunately. The game has put me off playing my PS4 all together as I'm associating playing my PS4 with all the disappointment of GTS.

Sounds really sad but these are life changing moments for me at the moment. I had half a million miles between GT5 and 6, over 90% of those miles was aimed toward being a better faster racer and tuner.

Now whenever I should be playing GT I've just been going for an early night or watching Netflix or something equally as boring. Time to take a night class or learn a martial art methinks.

It really isn't hard to drive with a pad.

I have never watched a top 10 replay to notice this. But whatever makes one faster I suppose, and it is available to everyone so...

Why would we want anything to be removed? The more features, the merrier. Am I in the minority here as someone who likes pretty much 99.9% of what the game has to offer?

Anyway, I guess the one thing I could live without is that damn Countersteering Assist. You can clearly tell drivers who use it when they dangerously overtake you and start sliding 45 degrees sideways only to immediately straighten out as if nothing happened.

Edit: I agree with the guy above me, update notices that are outdated constantly appearing over and over.

Rally and while not in the game, white knighters.

Yes. Subbed.

Its really not hard to drive with a pad, with all assists off except ABS its still easier than Project Cars and Assetto Corsa.

Countersteer Assist is just ridiculous.

Vision GT cars.

Nothing more painful in GT Sport than getting 6 Vision GT cars in a row doing the campaign and knowing the time wasted in designing and then modelling these at the expense of wanted cars and tracks. I'm shocked just how many I've seen so far. I dare not look at the official car count thread.

If you have an abundance of content then fine or pick a few standouts if you must. GT Sport Vision cars is like sharing 50 photos when you could narrow it down to 3.

VGT cars are modelled mainly by manufacturers themselves (chosen team), not the dev team = no time wasted on modelling these (just FYI).

Back to topic - resetting of all settings each time you leave and rejoin event is a bit annoying.

I played GT from the beginning (~1997-1998) with pad and (GT4-GT5) with wheel , in the last years i returned to DS due to space issues.
I can play in every moment any GT title, in my racing setup i have PS2-PS3-PS4 ready with all the previous GT'S...

Well, GTSPORT has got the worst development of DS controls, for example I've never crashed on the nordschleife going out the turn of "Wehrseifen" or out the "karussell" in all GT's (GT4-GT5-GT6) and in the real life too.. ( i have a little experience on the real one) .. in GTSPORT in those turns i crashed due to the sticks LAG ..
There are some post on GTPlanet about the bad feeling of users with the DS development expecially after the beta..

I remain in my opinion that the driving aids must be related to the type of controller, with the wheel is ridicolous but with the DS (Sony also removes the sensitive buttons ..another worsening situation for the DS users) some times helps to have a fair possibilities ..

deactivate the damn autopilot in MP!!! (even if it is turned off in lobby settings it works. there are so many afk drivers.... disgusting.

Daily workout gift car. I bought a Veyron once and end up getting the car through daily workout the very next day.
Agree. I quite fancy trying out the Cobra, but no way I'm splashing 3M credits on something I might get for free tomorrow.

I think the main issue people have is that there's, what, a thousand of them. By your reckoning, that's still 500 artist days which could have been better allocated IMO. I'd take a few more cars and settle for maybe 50 scapes locations since there are loads similar and I imagine most people use the same few anyway.

Turn signals
I use these in Sport quali sessions to let people know I'm not on a fast lap and that they can pass. True though that even with them on, and way off the racing line, I've been hit a few times by people trying to slipstream a slower car!

I don't understand why a lot of the Gr.X cars can't be bundled into one if the NXXX classes with an option to allow/ban them in online events. Racing a safety car dressed up as the Police would be way more fun against a field of similarly powered road cars than having to always do a one-make race.

Really? If that's actually the case, they should borrow the same teams and get them to add in new models. Would have been more valuable for McLaren to have included a 570S, 675LT, 720S or P1 than that ridiculous spaceship VGT thing that's sitting in my garage unused.

I like the VGT cars to be honest. They're more interesting than getting a MKIV Supra (if that were an option).
Whaaaaaat?! The Supra is one of the cars that made GT what it is (or at least was). I'd take a Supra, Evo V, 350Z, RX7 etc over a spaceship VGT every time because those are the cars that, for me, have always produced the best racing. The VGTs that have been most interesting are the ones that are closest to reality and potentially lead on to future models like the FT1.

Golding the Nordschleife and getting an i3 (Seriously, why couldn't the reward for circuit experience be the car you were given to use?!)
