What did you buy today?

The luggage stored behind the seats is red if you buy the car in red color. If you get the car in yellow the luggage is black. It's a trivial thing but I thought it was worth mentioning anyway.

That's why this is one of my favourite cars. Got one of those today, in metallic Monacoblau with red and silver rims.

My way get's you 1.39 million credits in around 20 minutes with 200% ;) But the new Redbull Standard event pays nearly 3 million in 20 minutes, so it looks like I have a new grinding method.
I did the Red Bull Standard already too as well as the Sebastian Vettel X Challenge! I've got 8 mil+ Cr currently. I don't know what to buy next.

I'll take your word on the X2014 Standard event. I've got more money there too!

P.S. Can't help but to say that Sebastian's challenge was much easier than in GT5...

Both the GTO ’84 and the 365 GTB4 ’71 have been added to my Ferrari collection…

Bought the 80s civic and tuned it with stage 1 and non-race mods...except for the suspension and weight...not the best driver but in done a 1:04.xxx at Tsubuka on SS.

The important thing is, I had fun.

Why did you buy it?? You WIN it in the Vettel challenge. It's easy (coming from a DS3 user)
because those races count as losses, regardless of finish position. i hate the 4 i got from the karts. the only registered losses i have out of well over 150 races.

Was looking for something else in the dealership and saw this... the Honda Odyssey. Stock around the Nordschleife is a lot of fun and very good for practicing with momentum. Changing into 4th is a sobering experience though :)

Well, I didn't even notice :boggled:

Bought every car that is a 2013 & 2014 model. Also bought a Caterham, fully tuned it and painted Old English White. A mate of mine just bought an orange Caterham today, in real life. He has an SR20 in it. :)

If you already have 4 losses, what difference does it make if you have a few more?

Today I started to buy everything in the game. I cleared Amuse-Gran Turismo PD today. Bought all cars and all paints. I will try and clear 4 manufacturers a day excluding the 10M-20M cars. I will buy them later.

Might give it a go tonight 👍

I have generated dozens and dozens of losses from doing the Redbull events because I use those to grind for money, since I absolutely refuse to cheat for money. I completely ignore statistics like that anyway so I can have more fun. I feel the same way about Trophies and Achievements, don't care about em at all.

Do it do it do it! It's not fast (hope I didn't give that impression) but the handling's great and you can really carry the speed. Only change into fourth going downhill, the ratios are separated by the Atlantic :)

Also looks great on the replay...

Just bought it and some other cars like:

Honda City Turbo
Honda CR Del Sol
Honda Civic Type R EK9
Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car
Honda Ballade Sports CR-X 1.5i
Mazda RX-8 Type S
Mazda Roadster RS NC
Mitsubishi 3000GT MR
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur R34
Nissan Skyline GT-R Kenmeri
Nissan Skyline GT-R Hakosuka
Scion FR-S
Toyota 2000GT
Toyota AE86 S.S. Version
Toyota Aqua ( i thought it had some TRD stuff, guess not! )
Volvo 240GLT

Yeah... I think i have a problem...

one-77. needs front downforce option badly.

Bought a Nismo Fairlady ZZ Tune.
But it isn't a Normal car! -
Drives nice enough but seems to lack the up revs crunchy goodness. Fast and stable - can't paint it.

I then bought a Ferrari 365GTB4 "Daytona"... I painted it in Pine Green (Ferrari Dino Dark green metallic chip)

What a quality car. So easy to chuck about, sounds nice enough, well mannered but fast and perfectly balanced.

Looks good too. Inspired the big Rover V8 of the 70's that the police used to turn into Pursuit cars for the motorway.

Always liked the car since a kid, glad it drives as well in the game as I imagined it would with a toy car on the carpet.

(Track Builder "Toy cars and lounge carpet" - Would be fantastic to have a Micro Machines style track creator.)

The biggest pickup to me was getting the Ford GT40 (the 2.8M Credit Premium car). I bought this car for one reason- revenge in the Classic Muscle Car Series. After losing by 12 seconds while racing with a Dodge Challenger and against that Ford GT40, I avoided this series. I even sold off some of my more expensive cars in my collection just to buy one. I was more like "if PD's going to provide an unfair advantage like this, I might as well bring my own Ford GT40 to make things even. I did, and I won both races I failed to win in this series initially. I may use this car to use in the "Fighting Muscle" and "Classic Supercar Festival" series. I had previously bought the 1970s Lamborghini Countach to compete in the "Classic Supercar Festival."

In a different sense, I almost felt like I should have got one of the Shelby Cobra models because in one race, there were two Cobras (one was the beautiful Chrome Line model), and those two Cobras were leading another GT40 in the race. I ended up winning. Having a car like the GT40- which is in no way a "muscle car," is almost like how you have the Jaguar XJ-R9 as one of the cars in the "Dream Car Championship" in GT5.

But what did I get today? Simple- the Ford GT40. Save up the money if you're an inexperienced GT6 racer. If you want the best chance of getting all three Stars for the Classic Muscle Car Series, save up 2.8M Credits and get the Ford GT40.

GT-R Black Edition only to be reminded how bonkers fast it is around the ring. And to think how fast the 2015 Nismo GT-R will be. Madness!

-Citroen C4. That car has the right looks and sounds. Handles fairly well too for being French. Citroen always proving they can make unusual stuff look cool and unique, like the fixed steering wheel.

The weekly groceries for next week ......will be picking up the '08 Audi RS6 Avant and will tune it, repaint it Nero Nemesis and take it to photo mode to use as a team car with the R18's in my collection......

Just purchased:

BMW Z4 GT3
What is up with the sound?! It's like a hand dryer.

AUDI R8 4.2 FSI V8
One of my favourite cars in GT5 for blasting around Nordschleife. Only ever buy it in silver with carbon sigma.

Got a nice new 86 for the time trial - Rolled it on my second lap!

Nothing says "Quality driver at work" than sliding backwards along the pit wall with a shower of sparks behind you - Didn't beat my first lap - Stewards at Trial Mountain disallowed my time.

Ryk

I'm having a hard time on that Time Trial. I always get Silver there. Any good settings for my 86 GT or 86 GT 15th Anniversary Edition to get it to Gold? Please PM me as a reply.

Honda S800 race car for the league race this Sunday.

The 95 GT-R33 LM Roadcar. Had to buy the 5 speed manual option, because PD has the stock gearing to pretty much a 3 speed. It's a fun, easily forgotten car!

Not today but yesterday I reacquired all my chrome line cars I have in Gran Turismo 5 now in Gran Turismo 6. I just got to reacquire my Stealth cars again now to.
