You should try the original one.Playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, haven't played the original. I have to say I'm impressed on how well it looks and how smooth it plays for a 10 year old game!
How is it better - I've heard the remaster is the same as the original except they improved the textures etc..You should try the original one.
It's a hundred times better! At least on PC.
I don't play shooter games on console.
Some of the small stuff was fine-tuned and there are more weapons and doo-dads in MWR.How is it better - I've heard the remaster is the same as the original except they improved the textures etc..

You may be correct with the PC port of the Remaster - but I'm playing it on Xbox One X and it's very smooth, plays well, and only cost me $9 on eBay for the Infinite/MF Remaster bundle. I'm not interested in multi-player so there's that.The original plays/played alot better. The gameplay is/was way smoother.
And i'm just saying that with more than 5500 hours in it...
Played the "remastered" for maybe 10 hours in multiplayer. It felt nothing like the original. Way to clunky and not even close to being as smooth.
Almost like they ported it from a console... Wait? Not the first time they've done that.
Oh, and let's not forget the lack of dedicated servers that they promised in the "remastered"... Laughable... (If they have added it recently, then good for them, still a **** game).
You know, I said this over 3 months ago and while it's true, I did dive back into the game, I actually stopped afterwards because I had too many other things on my mind I wanted to do and I couldn't properly enjoy it. In fact, I never touched any of my Playstation consoles for 3 whole months and that is quite possibly the longest I can recall going without using any of them, ever.Just dove back into Spyro Year of the Dragon last night and started a whole new save game for the first time in nearly 6 years I think. I considered going back to it recently and after seeing the trailer for the upcoming remaster, it's accelerated my decision to go back to it even sooner now.
Playing it first and then I am going to play the 1st and 2nd after. Sure I may be playing it a bit out of sequence, but Year of the Dragon is the one I grew up with and it's the one I know best whereas I have barely played the first and none of the 2nd. I am playing the 3rd first ultimately as a refresher to remind myself why I like Spyro so much and why I keep coming back to it after all these years, that way I can appreciate the previous two more since they're going to be new to me. All this in preparation for the remaster coming later this year.
There is a way to get those DLC cars though.I rarely play games these days as I prefer spending my time elsewhere and my intereset for gaming in general waned considerably the last year. However, I still get an itch to play a racing game from time to time. So having that itch and all the time in the world this weekend, I fired up and installed TDU and TDU2 on my XBOX 360 - playing them back and forth as to which game to go forward with.
- Test Drive Unlimited 2
While I prefer TDU's car list and physics over it successor's, I still found myself coming back to TDU2 - a game that I truly disliked at first when it released. 7(?) years on, I quite enjoy playing it. Zoning out and cruising while it goes it goes from day to night, not to mention the weather cycles, is pretty damn nice. There's more than plenty to do so it should keep me busy for a long time. Though it's a massive shame that the DLCs are no longer available. You can test drive the DLC cars and bikes, but you'll never be able to purchase them.
I’m assuming it involves a USB stick, my saved data file and a certain software on my PC?There is a way to get those DLC cars though.
Not really. This one. (Though you must be offline when you do this.)I’m assuming it involves a USB stick, my saved data file and a certain software on my PC?
Is the division worth it for the campaign in singleplayer??Currently enjoying the Mass Effect Trilogy. Finished the first one already and I'm halfway through 2. Funny that ME3 was my first game in the series, mainly because of the (very fun) multiplayer, which I played - still play, actually - with some friends who are super into it. Never bothered with the campaign until a few months ago.
Also playing:
GT Sport, of course.
The Division (PS4): Just playing the campaign and open world missions, I have no interest in the Dark Zone loot grind and the more complex parts of this game;
Killing Floor 2 (PS4): Super fun co-op horde mode for when I'm stressed and just want to shoot stuff;
Is the division worth it for the campaign?
Just hit me up if you wanna play with some voice chat too.I've got back into Rocket League lately (I blame @Brend! ), even if I'm still hot garbage in it. It's easy to jump into a round or five in an evening to unwind.
Still in regular rotation:
Also got into F1 2017 lately. It's... fantastic. I'm not even a big fan of the real sport, but I love the different approach it provides to the two above. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed playing against AI so much.
- GT Sport
- Forza Motorsport 7
I was inspired by Polygon's Backlog Week to sign up to two sites to track my game collection (Backloggery and AllMy.Games). I've been in a funk about them for a while — I simply have too many, but I find I rarely get to play video games for fun any more. And that made me pretty sad, since that's their main function.
The digital movement is a big reason for the size of the backlog too. I've got games that I bought years ago based on others' opinions on them, that I haven't even started. And let's be fair: it's unlikely I'll genuinely love 'em all. So all I've bought recently has been racing games. (And Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, which sure enough, I haven't played.)
So, in the interest of shrinking my collection, at least physically, I'm revisiting Batman: Arkham City. Wait Kyle, you say, didn't you recently platinum that on PS4? I did! I'm redoing it on PS3 because it's a fairly straight-forward one, and it means I can ditch the discs. I've already done the same with its predecessor. I probably won't with Origins, because I remember that game being pretty meh. I'll get rid of them, and then I may move on to the old Uncharted PS3 titles.
I miss the days of NES, Genesis, and even early PS1. I was a kid, so our gaming library was limited by what my parents deemed acceptable, but I really got to know those games, on a level I simply can't with dozens of titles on a hard drive. It's time to simplify, and stick with the games I love, instead of pinging across a bunch of games I may only like.
I definitely think so, I had a blast (all solo play). I had around 100 hours in (w/Underground DLC) but I didn't rush through and picked up all loot, played every side mission. I picked it up for $15 (PC), no brainer for me at that price.Is the division worth it for the campaign in singleplayer??
Not really. This one. (Though you must be offline when you do this.)
That exploit alone made me enjoy the game a lot.The video is from 2015 so it's highly unlikely they patched it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Going to try it when I get home from work.
The TDU2 servers were silently shut down some time ago, so I assume it shouldn't be a problem. Or should I avoid being connected to Xbox Live altogether?That exploit alone made me enjoy the game a lot.
But yeah when you do that, do not go online when you do the exploit. Or else the game will detect it and replace it with Miami Harris' Pink Mustang. Not even gonna lie. I bought 5 DLC cars through that exploit and when the game detected that I bought those cars through that exploit, it replaced those DLC cars I bought with Pink Mustangs and it got me annoyed to the point where I started all over again. But luckily when you're not online, the game will not detect it.
But yeah enjoy!
