    A first, I avoided Gwent (the Witcher 3 in-game version), but when I got to Novigrad, during the side quest that requires you to inquire in a casino, I had to learn how to play it. And I sucked and kept losing and losing, but I persevered and began to win and understand certain (basic) strategies on my own, and then I got good enough to do some side quests that require playing Gwent, and kept winning and increasing my deck. Now, almost any NPC conversation usually leads to "How about some Gwent?" :D. This is my return to a card game since the horrible and random Tetra master of FFIX (FFVIII card game was great though.)

    Today woke up, bought INSIDE and played through it in a single setting. Absolutely gorgeous. A step up from Limbo, for sure.

    Then, for a change of pace, bought Nioh2 deluxe edition on sale (69€) and I'm buying a lot in the first map :D my muscle memory from BB and DS is screwing me over and over. The dash button is the X instead of circle and I'm dying a lot running against enemies instead of dodging their attacks.

    Doesn't look as good as DS3 or BB (I'm playing in Action Mode on a launch PS4 at 900p), but th frame rate is very good (60fps).

    Want to buy Dreams too. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday.

    After playing Ion Fury and having a blast with an old-school style FPS, I picked up Hard Reset Redux and am playing that now on Xbox One. Very good game and a ton of fun.

    I've been playing Dreams pretty much exclusively for the past few months. I'm making an off-road game and in the video am doing some testing of my new Jeep.

    The suspension was nearly fully articulated at one point near the top but I didn't dare turning the camera to show it off. :scared:

    Double post. 13 cars on screen, all physics based. I hope more driving enthusiasts can see the potential in Dreams and check it out.

    The other cars are AI drivers? The start looked a bit like Wreckfest :lol:

    Very impressive though :tup:

    The other cars are all "remote controlled" meaning they are driving based on the output of the controller. Turning angle is reduced dramatically though so I could steer around and through them without having much of an affect in the way they are traveling. Basically they where mimicking my input but steering was limited.

    Thanks! It's been a long process to learn the physics and get this far. :tup:

    Dreams has unlimited modding potential. I modeled these tires after actual tread design that is no longer available to.

    I was finally back to playing Red Dead Redemption 2 (and enjoying the time I had with it) but then I discovered Tracks and now I simply can't put it down. It's been a long while that I've had a new game that I completely lost track of time, where 3 hours went by like 10 minutes.

    Now my whole family and I are playing Tracks - The Train Set game. They're hooked too. It's easily the most relaxing, creative, fun, open world sandbox game that I've played since Minecraft. It's basically a virtual version of a wooden railway set you may have played with as a kid. Creating tracks is really intuitive, I was able to build a whole railway system (plus a crazy roller coaster around the whole thing) in less than an hour. What takes more time is filling in the details like street lights, Fire hydrants, park benches, foliage, trees, people, other vehicles and so on.

    blahblahCrusader Kings 2, blahblahA Game of Thrones mod, blahblah Crowned Stag start as Bobby B

    TL;DR:
    Balon Greyjoy rebelled twice, escaped my intended punishment of lock 'em up and forget after he won a trial by combat. Tywin Lannister got miffed and I got a bit of a tyrant reputation because I kinda overruled his innocent verdict during Renfred Rykker's trial after he was accused of trying to set up someone else to rebel. "Aegon Targaryen" invaded a few days into 300 AC. Mostly trying to hold the line.

    THE REALM:
    (as of the fifth moon of 318 AC)
    ==========
    KING'S LANDING/THE IRON THRONE

    ROBERT BARATHEON, First of His Name, y'know the titles. 55. Married to/estranged from Cersei Lannister (TL;DR she ran off when I tried arresting her for plotting to kill me)
    Their children and descendants:
    -AXEL, heir presumptive, Lord of Bywater and the Kingswood, Hand of the King. 31. Married to Margaery Tyrell
    --CAROLEI, 11
    --RONNAL, 10
    --{HARYS}, lived for five days in the sixth moon of 309 AC
    --RYMAN, 7
    --BELISSA, 2
    --DEVAN, twin to Belissa
    --FLORIS WATERS, 6, Axel's baseborn daughter by a courtier named Caronne.

    -JOCELYN, 26. Married to {Robb Stark}, Jormyn Manderly
    (by Robb)
    --BRANDON, 7. Current Lord of Winterfell and Lord Paramount of the North
    --{EDDARA}, lived three days in the last month of 313 AC
    --SERENA, 3. Posthumous daughter of Robb
    (none by Jormyn)

    -{CARMELLA}, a silent sister. Died comatose in 310 AC at the age of 16

    -{AELINOR}, stillborn in 304 AC

    Robert's baseborn children and descendants:
    -RHAEYS WATERS, 17, his daughter by {Daenerys Targaryen}. Married to Arlan Royce, Lord of Runestone
    --EDDYNE ROYCE, 2

    -MAEKAR STORMHART, 16, Lord of Dragonstone. His son by {Daenerys Targaryen} and founder of Baratheon cadet dynasty House Stormhart. Betrothed to Darla Hardy.

    -{ENNA FLOWERS}, died of the grey plague in 315 AC at the age of 6. His daughter by Bethany Lydden

    -{MHAEGAN WATERS}, stillborn in 310 AC. His daughter by {Ysilla Kenning}

    ==========
    The North
    BRANDON STARK, 7
    (Regent is Jon 'Smalljon' Umber)
    (Line of succession ATM goes: his sister Serena, his uncle Brandon, his cousin Wynafrei, his great-uncle Benjen, his second(?) cousin Jarana, and if they all die somehow in ludicrously quick succession the Starks in general die out.)

    ==========
    The Riverlands
    EDMURE TULLY, 45. Married to {Cathryn Trent}, Kyra Prester
    (by Cathryn)
    -KERRYN, 17
    (by Kyra)
    -JONOTHOR, heir, 14
    -SHELLA, 10
    -SABITHA, 7
    -LOTHAR, 5

    ==========
    The Iron Islands
    THEON GREYJOY, 39. Married to Sygara Wynch
    -MOELLE, almost 1

    (She doesn't stand to inherit anything at the moment owing to the revival of the Kingsmoot and the traditional exclusion of women from candidates.
    TL;DR:
    -Balon's executed
    -Rodrik died in 288 while fighting in someone's trial by combat
    -Maron died of severe injuries in 296
    -Asha died of "natural causes" (console-commanding to observe mode reveals Cersei Lannister did it) in 298
    -Euron died via STD a.k.a not EPIC POWER METAL SAGA in 306
    -Victarion died of poor health in 296
    -Aeron died in his brother's dungeons in 291
    -Robin was killed by his brother in battle in 297
    -The only other surviving Greyjoys are females: Moelle; Euron's daughters Beinerra and Skati; Quenton's (distant cousin to Theon) daughter Johsi

    ==========
    The Vale
    JON ARRYN, 36. Married to {Walda of Gulltown}, Jarana of Gatehouse Tower
    (by Walda)
    -TEORA, heir, 13. Betrothed to Alaric Storm, baseborn son of Harrold Arryn/Hardyng/Harry the Arse
    (by Jarana)
    -EDMYNE, 2

    ==========
    The Westerlands
    ERENA LANNISTER, 14. Married to Raynard Cynders.
    (Regent is her husband)
    (Line of succession goes Cersei, Tytos Lannister (cousin of some degrees, his dad is Erena's great-uncle Kevan), Bryssa (daughter of Lancel (GODS WHAT A STUPID NAME. WHO NAMED HIM? SOME HALF-WIT WITH A STUTTER?)), Myrielle (eldest daughter of Tytos), Leila (second daughter of Tytos), Joanna (daughter of Kevan)

    Fun fact: Erena's parents were Tyrion Lannister and Lysa Tully. Someone must've wrote fanfiction of that.

    ==========
    The Reach
    MACE TYRELL, 62. Married to {Alerie Hightower}, some probable smallfolk named Syrene
    (by Alerie)
    -WILLAS, heir, 41. Married to Lansia Frey
    --ERAYNA, 14
    --MACE, 10
    --ALENA, 4
    --MARGAERY, almost 1
    --(currently expecting their fifth)

    -GARLAN, sworn brother of the Kingsguard, 40

    -{LORAS}, accidentally killed in a joust by Garrett Stackhouse in 317 AC at the age of 35

    -MARGAERY, 35. Married to Axel Baratheon

    -ALESTER, 29. Married to Robert I Baratheon's niece Maris
    --LYONEL, 8
    --KENELLA, 3
    --{ALYSANNE}, lived two days in the fifth moon of 317 AC
    --ELVYRA FLOWERS, 2. His baseborn daughter by his brother Willas' wife Lansia

    (by Syrene)
    -RAYMUND, 7

    ==========
    The Stormlands
    RENLY BARATHEON, 41. Married to Arianne Martell
    -MARIS, 24. Married to Alester Tyrell
    -ROBERT, heir, 21. Married to Jorelle Whitehill
    -CORENNA, 10
    -ORRYN, 8

    ==========
    Dorne
    QUENTYN MARTELL, 37. Married to Cersei Martin (hilarious sidenote: there is a character around the Robert's Rebellion/Crowned Stag bookmark in control of the Dragon Gate named George Martin winkwinknudgenudge)
    -{TYENE}, lived five days at the end of the ninth moon of 308 AC
    -GORIAN, heir, 6

    ==========
    Highest profile person from the show/books still alive at this point that isn't me and that I've noticed is Brienne of Tarth, who hasn't done much of note. She got beaten to the "first woman on the Kingsguard" position this timeline by Barbrey Myre, which made it a double-whammy of getting a female Ironborn to don the white cloak.

    I have spent a stupid amount of time with Snowrunner this weekend. Still in Michigan, just went to the second area. The highway truck is awful, sold this and the heavy truck I was given to get a some kind of off-road International truck. Now that thing is a beast! Great for pulling other trucks out of swamps.

    Also traded my Chevy pick up for an International Scout, I've always loved those things. I lifted the Chevy truck and put some decent tires on it but I rolled it too many times, so bye.

    My only complaints:

    Really wish I could use my G29

    I dislike like how you need to level up to unlock upgrades like all terrain tires. That is so played out now a days, there has to be a better way of doing this.

    After playing Valkyria Chronicles, I immediately bought Valkyria Chronicles 4 on sale and almost spent an entire month playing just that.

    In terms of how it plays, it's a straight upgrade from the first game in almost all aspects. In terms of story, the characters were good enough to keep me invested and plot maintained a good tension throughout, but it kind of peters out at the conclusion and didn't really stick the landing for me. Which is a shame, because I liked almost everything leading up to it.

    Anyway, with that out of the way, back to the usual Slime Rancher and Forza.

    331 AC, Bobby B is still alive at 68. Theon rebelled and quashed it in near-horrific brutality, which would be a theme in Bobby B's next two wars. United the Stepstones, used the prestige gains from doing it to call a Great Council in 326 AC to get approval for a large-scale invasion. Got it, chose Pentos as my target. Beat back a Pentoshi/Braavosi/Norrvosi/Lyseni(?) coalition and won.

    No use for Pentos or the Stepstones, so let them go free. Didn't realize I fobbed them off onto relatives of one another until just now*. Stepstones near immediately went kaput and is now facing both a Volantese slaving raid/Tyroshi enslavement war with less than a hundred men and a terribly empty treasury. Pentos is fairing better.

    *=Ardrian Hardy had three kids, youngest of whom's King of the Stepstones. Side note: he's also my son Maekar's father-in-law. Ardrian's brother Lucas rules Pentos.

    >TFW your aunt is young enough to be your granddaughter

    343 AC now and Bobby B has passed on at the age of 80 (and approaching 81) after sitting the Iron Throne for sixty years and two months, handily beating the record by his distant ancestor Jaehaerys I Targaryen. More terrible brutality when helping defend the Wall against King-Beyond-the-Wall Horny Hare. My original heir Axel would be found murdered while performing his duties as Hand of the King in 333 at the age of 47.

    Bobby B's final kill number: 56
    # of children: 17, by 7 different women (7x Kerryn Tully, 4x Cersei Lannister, 2x Daenerys Targaryen, 1x Bethany Lydden/Ysilla Kenning/Joy of the King's Gate/Benara)
    # of rival claimants: 20 (surviving aunts/uncles ranging in age from 42 to several months, my Stark and Manderly cousins, my sisters Belissa and Carolei, my baseborn half-sisters Priscella and Roncianne Waters)

    Now sitting the Iron Throne is Ronnal Baratheon, married to Jeyne Bar Emmon, with whom he has had three kids to date: Garon (13, heir, betrothed to Margaery Fossoway (of the green apple branch of the dynasty), Sarena (twin to Garon, betrothed to Ronald Seaworth), and Mychel (almost 1).

    I fiddled around with a casual mobile game recently. I played Wordscapes on my tablet PC. It is a game where you swipe across a given set of letters to try to come up with as many words as possible. You have this crossword puzzle that kind of helps you out trying to find out every possible word. Sometimes, you even come across a word that is not in a puzzle, but you still get credit for finding it. And in a crazy way... I tried to find a very bad word that was in one puzzle, and it was NOT in the puzzle! :D Other than that, it's a good time killer and good exercise for your brain. Only issue, though, is the ads. Some can be about 1-2 minutes long! Of course, you'd have to pay to eliminate ads. The game also crashed on me in my initial play.

    Picked up Forza 7 after nearly a year without touching it. I admit, I didn't like the game all that much before but there is something about it that I very much enjoy... I think it has a lot to do with playing it on an Xbox One X now. It just looks so good to play and I find myself getting distracted looking around during certain weather conditions. Happy to play again.
