I've been on Steam the last few weeks playing some stuff that will function decently on my PC...and I think I may have just aged out of gaming:
Papers, Please - I heard so much about this game, and for 5 bucks it wasn't terrible, but after ten in-game days and story mode irritations, I CAN see why people like it, but if I wanted to do paperwork I'll just stay at work a few more late hours.
Euro Truck Sim 1 - Retried this one, first time didn't function right for some reason. It looks meh, but it was cheap so I can deal with it, my main issue was that my truck wobbled like it was built on a Jell-O chassis...But considering I enjoyed Big Muther Truckers as a teen (and learned basic commercial market rules, funny enough) it's a more serious trucking game, and it's aight. I do own ATS and ETS2 so if they work, this one hits the hidden list, but was a nice breather.
Distance - I should like it. I don't care for it. Made it about 8 stages in, hit the talent wall, and have no interest in beating my head against a wall.
Recettear - I watched a guy on YouTube play through this, years later finally buy it, and while it doesn't amaze me it engages enough to be a distraction.
All that said, GRID was having trouble keeping my attention lately, so I may have to give up the games and do something else entirely.
