I miss the "Tuning Prohibited" option in user created online lobbies.
Hm? It is there...

You do know you can take photomode shots in any replay.Being able to pick your own angle in photomode....now scapes. Being locked into a narrow view irritates me when I'm trying to find angles to show off a livery. You basically end up with all the photos being in the same place from the same angles which gets old.
Agree 100% with you here. It doesn't feel like a proper Gran Turismo without this classic.Moon Over the Castle

100%.The former tuning system with buying parts and so on. Not just moving a stupid bar slider with percentage raise.
That is unacceptable... these are cars... we are racing... figure it out.PD brought up as reason for this that this generation doesnt know anything about what is inside a car, so they simplified it. Well, back then we also didnt know anything about cars, too.

New OST courtesy of the great daiki kasho and Isamu Ohira.
Racing Modification that was available on almost every one of the 300+ cars in GT1 and GT2.
It was also available in GT5 but that was a failure limited to only a handful of cars.
In a game that is even more focused on GT races than regular trackdays, and with a smaller roster of cars, I'd expect at least that tuning option available.

Indeed I do and I have occasionally, but that doesn't allow me to plop my car into the middle of Ahrweiler (for example) and walk around it to find an interesting shot. I miss being able to move the car and environment to my liking at a whim. You do know you can take photomode shots in any replay.
you can hear gravel hitting the belly of the car in GT sportHe said small details.
Grass blowing in the wind when cars passed it by. ( GT5/6)
The sound of gravel hitting the underbelly ( GT6)
The 1-3 additional cockpit view cameras ( GT5/6)
That's all very definitive... up to this point:No, it's not. There is no option for hosts of public lobbies to have Tuning Prohibited races like there was in GT5 & GT6. Yes, some of the Sport Mode races feature no tuning, but the option for user created lobbies is most certainly not in the game...
... which lends itself to the question of what this option is doing here:as far as I know.
There is a checkbox on the uploading screen that asks if you want to apply the livery. It‘s usually set to yes so you don‘t need to do steps 4-9I miss being able to change just the wheels on my car without
- Going to the livery editor
- Creating a new livery setup
- Saving and uploading it
- Backing out to the main menu
- Selecting the Home option
- Selecting the car
- Selecting change livery
- Selecting the livery
- Selecting Save
If there's an easier way to do this that I'm missing someone please let me know as it's driving me nuts!
Go play GT6 . The gravel sound effect in ft sport is the generic dirt swooshing . In gt6 it's really pronounced .you can hear gravel hitting the belly of the car in GT sport
Like in the chaparral 2j, that one since it had such a wide gear setup, always backfired like crazy.I always loved the exaggerated backfire sounds in GT4. Sure, they're probably not realistic by today's standards, but it was oh so satisfying to clearly hear the pops and bangs as cars rattled down the gears. I also loved how cars would occasionally backfire when pulling away. Ever since then, the backfire sounds seem quite muted and not as exciting as they were in GT4.
