Well, things are picking up again with FormulaE and Super Formula. I'm hoping, with the TCR JApan series starting this year, PD will kindly visit a couple races and shake a couple hands to make it happen.

Nearly a week has passed with the announced PD/Toyota partnership.
This year, is looking to be one of the best for players.

I had a look at the thread about Porsche being underused. Wonder if Porsche Supercup is in the works and we just don't know it.

That would be wonderful, but I think they’ve cozied up with iRacing for their esports program. I don’t know any contract details, just assuming some exclusivity.

Under the cooperation, a new digital motor sports event JAF certification "Super Formula Virtual Series" will be held.
In this series, the tournament will be held three times at each Aeon Mall, and the superiors will hold a grand tournament at the Suzuka Circuit Special Venue in the final round of the Super Formula. This series is also held as a certified series of the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF).

The outline and details of each tournament will be announced on the official website of Super Formula.

Vision GT is in GT6. What special project(s) does PD have up their sleeves for GT7? Hot Wheels or Match Box collaborations? Lego? Radio control based cars like stadium trucks, buggies from Tamiya?

Well its PD so GT7 will partner with NASA for a perfect model of the curiosity rover and Mars.

Spa & Silverstone are sooo PS3!

Nissan already collaborates with GT since GT Academy's creation.

FIA has an partnership with GT since July 2014.

I hope that PD can collaborate with Turn 10 studios, EA and several manufacturers...

I think with the news that Sony and Microsoft are joining for cloud gaming. I don’t see game compiles making coming together like gt and forza. Same with like halo I don’t see it coming to PlayStation. I think the companies are just together for the technical side of stuff.

Hype is building for the next collaboration. I silently thought Formula Drift might happen with a couple Drift cars modelled. Also thought about Formula E, TCR Japan(as that series is billed with Super Formula).

We can add Michelin and now Porsche, to this growing list.
You mean to say we can remove Toyota, Michelin and Porsche from the list since they are confirmed to be collaborating with PD/GT.

Now what is the next car manufacturer to join the bandwagon....

Their can be only benefits for the to join... GT is becoming the standard.... (Even tho a lot of people still disagreeing and even if GT is not truly the Standard, but is the preferred measuring stick...)

With all the financial and management trouble, I don't think Nissan will be the next....

Mercedes through Hamilton?
Unless BMW beats MB...

With all the buzz(sorry) about electric vehicles, Nissan still have their FE and the Leaf race cars. Doesn't mean a deal is coming, but PD are surprising us with current news.

Mercedes just revealed their FE racer. Maybe something comes of that.

Hyundai revealed their ETCR Veloster as well.

Plenty of partnerships could be on PD's plate. Maybe another sponsor like Tag and Michelin.

Whatever partnership brings benefit to the GT series is more than welcome. Namely with car brands but also motorsport.

I dont mind PD signing a partnership with Brembo Brakes, Momo or even chassis designer Dallara.

Been a while.

Comment from BBS Japan Representative President - Norimasa Nosaka
“BBS is a company that is rooted in motorsports. It all started with this single desire: to provide wheels that win races. By developing our technology through motorsports, many teams including those in Formula One have achieved success with BBS wheels.

"BBS focuses on a manufacturing process where we compress blocks of aluminum down to less than 1/4 its original size, creating complex designs using dies, with all finishing touches made by hand to perfection. A strong, resilient, and beautiful wheel. This is what a BBS wheel stands for.

"BBS Japan has now partnered with Gran Turismo, a series that goes beyond the boundaries of video games and is beloved by motorsports fans throughout the world. We are very excited to be a part of this partnership, and we hope to reach out to the younger generations through Gran Turismo.“

Wonder if all cars will be fitted with BBS and Michelins, in FIA Nations and Manufacturers.
