Ah, you learn something new (so it's basically the same emphasis as the word catering?) which conveniently answers the quote below.

Yes, that's a very good comparison, actually.

This thread isn't at all useless, but it is somewhat self-indulgent (for me at least), but that's no bad thing. I've definitely learned a fair bit as a result, too.

EDIT: I think Koenigsegg is more like "Kern-ig-zegg", but don't actually pronounce the r, it's there to ensure the correct vowel sound, similar to "turn".
And "Wa-ear-a". Interesting; I'll take Harry's word for it, if he's been speaking to Mr. Pagani himself!

I've always pronounced Caterham as "kay-trum"
Then again, I used to pronounce Decal as "Deck-als".. I say Dee-cals now though..

Yeah, a lot of people contract Caterham to "Kay-trum" like that; in fact, people often also drop the t altogether in favour of a glottal stop: "Kay- -rum", but that might be regional. But both of those are technically (extra) lazy :p

EDIT: I need to stop trying to do two things at once...

Caterham (n) ˈkætərəm
Just a Lotus Seven Replica.

Amemiya

the way people pernouce: Gallardo I've heard GAL-ardo, GALL-arado, it annoys me massively :p

SuperVeloce

Tskuba

I say Amemiya as " awe-meh-meeyaaaaaa" Its the first part that there's variations of how people say it like "ammy-meeya" But many years of anime has taught me that Ame means rain which is pronounced like "awe-mehh" or "may"..

I hate it too when people puts the L's in Gallardo.. isn't it like "guy-are-doh"?

Tsukuba would be "sooo-koooo-baaaaaa".. I think
