In GT4 I ran the 2nd event in the special conditions hall (2 races, 2 laps each), and sold the car for what, 375k or so?

What is everyone doing for big money fast, in GT5?

...Yep... I want to get some money... I've already cleared all of Special ('cept Rally, cause I suck at it with the controller). :(

Supercar race 2 (level 11), Daytona. 17,300 for less than 3 minutes. I'm doing it with my GS preorder bonus Nascar while waiting for the used cars to refresh.

I saved everything except my first car. In the special events and license test you get new cars which one you can drive some races. Its my 3rd day with the Game and I have a full tuned Corvette 100.000+ creds and many cars. I think its quite easy to get money. The Karts give the most at the start!

I want to buy tom´s supra but I need 2 more levels...

Unfortunately what i noticed is that price cars arnt handed out a 2nd time (not even at championships like at gt4), therefore you can't get the same car twice (unless u bought it before) to sell it.... :(

What i now do for cash is race the GT world championship, has 5 races (le mans 2 laps, nurburg 1 lap, madrid 5, cape ring 5, grand valley 5), i just win the first 4 (then im ahead 100 points at least, which is the max amount of points given), earning 18.900 or sumtin per race, then cancel the 5th race to win the championship faster, adding another 90k+ (cud be a bit more, its in that range) to the balance :).

I've also been using the supercar daytona for the 17.300 in 2 1/2 mins, but the above option is a bit more varied then just turning left all the time (gets boring :P). The above also gives a higher level upgrade per race of course.

All I know is I spent all my money on a ZR1, and other cars. 200K corvette isn't cheap :)

....But so sweet! I dunno what to do to get fast money, but I just make my way around everywhere. Seems to work fine.

What car are you using for the GT Championship?

I have 3 built cars (minus turbo) and i have about 300k. I did a lot of special event races which pay a lot.FYI dont sell any of the cars you get your going to need them at some point. And I,m mad i don't get any money for winning online races.

1st post on here so I hope this isn't bad to recommend but you can create a new user on your PS3 and PSN and exploit the fact that you get a free car on your birthday, then gift that car to your real account. 1944 is a great year to use for a car you can sell for 75k.

But that's cheating? Where's the fun in that? :p

I felt bad enough using my Stealth 787B to beat the Japanese Championship. :(

I always save up a bunch (say 200 000 now, and it keeps rising for every car i buy), then use aout half of it. Always have to have som in the back, just incase i see a great deal or a car i just cant afford to let go. (even tho they are not preium, i got to have some cars, like A3 and Celica, in my garage).

To get there, i race the harder races, and win (barely, but not always) while i have an extremly good time! I find no fun in easy races. But thats just me. :)

I never said it was an honest cash strategy. It's more like a Ponzi scheme. My wife was making fun of me while I did it and told me that I'll never win a race with that money...

I don't think it's much worse than getting a car that is 10x better than the competition and repeatedly destroying them for the $.

1967 is another good year to use. I got a few Ferrari's and Lambo's and a cool Mercury muscle car.

The fastest way I've noticed to get cash is to do all the Special Events, you'll easily get over 200,000 credits in no time. But man the Top Gear Lotus challenge is full of punters, and the slightest nudge on your part will disqualify you; I finally managed 3rd, once I employed rear engine driving techniques learned from my Formula Ford days. I haven't finished all the Special Events yet, but when I do, I'll have enough cash to build just about anything I want. =)

Yeah, my cash strategy is also the supercar festival, even though i usually use overkill it's still fun.

Hey, has anyone ran into the Cien and Mclaren F1 at daytona yet?

What car are you using for the GT Championship?

My heavily pumped up ferrari 458 italia, past the point that its scary on sports tires (had to buy racing tires to get it properly driveable) :). The very first car i bought with money from special events (didnt even do a race event till i got the car...)

Costs quite some money to get it there, but then you got a beast that can beat a looot of events/championships, and is quite easy to drive. Too bad i can't use that car in the Japanese GT Championship hehe.

@Giygas: Yep i ran onto both and blew them away... :P.

My birthday was just 2 days before the release date.. I must be very unlucky then! Damn.

the 458 Italia stock on race tires can do alot.
I'm currently using the 458 italia with the intake, exhaust, and ECU, and race tire. other than that, it hauls.

I'm driving the hell out of my chromeline Murci and kept doing the superstars dayton a race and gt championship. And when I'm doing something else I let bspec race it lol. Close to 600k now and waiting for lvl 19 to buy the Mines Skyline...lol

Earning money seems more painful than before but that's how I felt in the earlier games lol

1 create a new user.

2 create a fake psn account with today as birthday and 1944 as year. Email can be fake.

3 add your real account as a friend.

4 log out of fake account, on to real account and accept request.

5 log back on to fake account and start a gt5 game.

6 get free car for your bday

7 go to community, click on real account, click gift, and gift the free car you just got.

8 go to ps3 home screen and delete the game save data for your fake account.

9 repeat steps 5-7 until you are bored

10 log into real account, accept gifts in community, sell the cars and pile up money.

1944 gives you a vw that you can sell for 75k
1967 gives some nicer cars that can't be sold
1979 gives you a crap car that isn't worth your time

Got to level 20 in A-Spec and currently have just over $1.3 million. Giving my B-Spec driver some track time (level 2) while still earning me money.

hmm i might try this just to get a mclaren as it is 1million.

Exploits = SUCK!

My strategy? Race race race spend race race spend spend mod race mod

Rinse and repeat.

Definitely don't mind doing some easy special events for cash, not a bad idea to give your B-Spec guy some chromeline cars and sit back.
