Who thinks the "Micro-Transactions" are a good deal?

as long as its not forced on (like what happened to Need for Speed World) I wouldn't mind them. I don't care if people waste their money on a game. At least the producers are gaining a profit so they'll be able to make more features, etc.
Unfortunately gaming developers aren't like that anymore. They're going to put less features in the game to start with and make you pay for the good features of the game that should have been there when you've spent an odd 40 quid on the game. They aim to make as much of a profit as possible with the least content in the game.

Don't say that as that pretty much would be the death(albeit slowly) of the gaming industry. It works for a certain amount of time then when people get ticked off about it like with Crapcom that stuff starts to backfire. I'm almost certain Ubisoft will witness this very soon with the AC franchise the way it is.

It's a cold hard truth but at the end of the day it's a fact, at least for consoles. If you compare gaming in the present day to how it was 10 years ago where DLC was barely heard of if at all. Developers took their time to make games because they knew that once it was out there, it will be very difficult to change any content in the game without releasing an entirely new game. But now it seems that game developers take online updates for granted and release half-🤬 games with the intent of "improving them later" and use it as an excuse to squeeze even more money out of their customers for stuff that should have been in the game earlier.

I already know I miss those days as the double edged sword was that we didn't 🤬 or moan about DLC/Updates it was just THE GAME! if you know what I mean, but micro-transactions are here to stay regardless of what I say.
