Will GT6 have Porsche in it?

Though we did have the opportunity to drive a couple of RUFs in GT5, they were standard. A premium line up of classic and new Porsche models would sure do the trick.

We're probably not going to get Porsche in GT6 with the evil empire (Electronic Arts) holding the Porsche license hostage. Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini is a dream MANY Gran Turismo fans have hoped for probably since the very first game. I remember all the "butt-hurt fanboys/fangirls" who soiled their diapers just because none of the aforementioned makes were featured in a GT's car lineup. Not many complained now that Ferrari and Lamborghini have shown up in Gran Turismo PSP and GT5. People who played Forza Motorsport 4 knows how it feels to not have Porsche featured (since FM has always featured Porsche in the major FM titles except FM4). Life goes on just because GT may not have Porsche. It would be disappointing, but not too much to where GT6's lineup would be lackluster. Almost as if people [still] think GT's lineup is Nissan Skylines/GT-Rs... and then everything else.

I surely would want to see Porsche in GT6. However, I am not going to petition or riot just because the company isn't featured in GT6. Maybe what will work better for GT would be to enhance and expand upon the likes of RUF and/or Gemballa or any other similar companies.

I'm sure we'd get the Rt 35 anniversary and RGT-8 this go around. Even though the models are a few years old, I think that's how PD do things anyway. If we get the New Ruf Boxster/Cayman, I'll be surprised. And if, by some miracle we do get actual Porsches, I'm thinking PD will be limited to race cars(917, GT1, 935 long tail) at the most.

You're right, a nice line-up of premium RUF and Gemballa models would certainly do justice.

im going to say theres a 85% chance of no to Porsche. They dont want to pay EA and if i remember right arnt they a small staffed company? So it might not be that they dont want to pay EA, it may be that they just cant afford it. O.o Mabey. I still say chances are Porsche wont be in GT6, but if it was, i actually wouldnt be supprised.

No, its not. The reason Porsche got in Forza 4 via DLC instead of from release day is because Turn 10 were not able to come to agreeable terms with EA before release and it was only after release they were finally able to settle a deal to make that happen.

Too bad, I wished PD would do some little tricks to get RWB cooperate to license their tuned cars into the game, like removing all Porsche badges from RWB cars when modelling them ... No Porsche tuners in GT without Porsche license, full stop. We've been over this before, a tuner is still a Porsche even if you take the badges off and they can't include them.
