So guys with GT5 literally just around the corner... is there any news on how to set this up with 3 screens?
I got a call from game in the UK last night, and they 100% confirmed GT5 will be delivered to me on or by 24th nov :)

I have this set-up:
High End Gaming PC for F1 2010 and Dirt 2
Logitech G27 steering wheel and pedals
Logitech 5.1 surround sound system
3x 3D 120Hz monitors
Visionracer VR3 gaming seat with triple screen mount

I need to find out if anyone knows how to configure GT5 for use on my 3 screens in 3d...

^ Nice rig there road racer:tup:

Triple Screen racing is Expensive! But it depends how serious you are as a sim racer.
Having spent huge resources on cars and tracking in years gone buy it seems a small expense for an extension of a hobby that for the most part is now out of my reach.
When Forza 2 came out I built my own rig from mdf which comprised of 3 x 32inch LCD screens, 3 x Xbox 360s , Sony 5.1 surround AV amp, Xbox wheel, Network switch and a £500 Memory Foamed Sparco fully adjustable seat to ensure comfort!!!
In Addition to that i included a new gaming PC with a triple head to go and a Logitech G25 and a PS3 on single screen.

That cost a fair few quid to put together and took up a lot of space, but the immersion for PC Sims and Forza is exceptional and single screen racing, 3d or not cannot come close to the feeling of being surrounded by visuals.

What i was not prepared for was the immense heat generation from such a big setup, i initially had two small 10 inch fans to disperse the heat and in the end had to bring in an airconditioner too!!!

I guestimate i was using atleast around 2KWH of electric for every hour used!!
That really added up!

In the end it had to go, so i stripped it out and down sized, replacing the 3 x 32s with a single 46, with a single 360, PS3 and PC, going back to single screen was quite hard, so i treated myself to a Fanatec PWTS :)

Since then circumstances have changed again, im now in a new home with less space, so my rig is squeezed into a corner with one of the old 32's and only headphones for company, whilst unemployment has reigned supreme for 6months i have a loft full of collected equipment and accesories for my racing rig, and whence better times come would love to build a more refined unit using much more modestly sized pc monitors and with the new PS3 slims using under 100 watts per hour for gaming a much better enviromental and wallet frindly set up all round.

I placed an order for an eye cam. Let's see how well it works. I think that if PD made the decision to implement the face tracking is because it brings a positive experience to GT5. It most likely take time to get used to it but it's worth giving it a try.

Any idea if the psp can be used as a rear view mirror?

lol no one answered his question. Ok so head-tracking is in the game (CONFIRMED). Multi-Screen is not yet confirmed and it is not looking good. If you look at the leaked copies of the game there is a video of the option menu, no lan or multi monitor options. But there may be hope as that is not the true final release copy.

that could be very gutting if it isn't there!

Yea, exactly thats the point! And 120 frames 3D!!! On all 3 Monitors:tup:

3 Monitors Ok. Many of us have 2 but 3 ps3´s!!
So its unimportant if GT5 supports this feature. Anyhow for me.

haha, good luck with that...

kaz even said sorry coz the game wont be able to run at 60 fps at all times, it will drop from time to time.

you're gonna either play an uglier game, in 3D or you will play with lower fps. :P

as i see it. its waste of time getting all that together.

HOWEVEr, i think it could be fun to do with a couple of friends at some point.

although since i have a big canvas + projector going down in size is kinda silly :P (even though i do get higher resolution)

Hope this doesn't seem a stupid question, BUT, will a PC Monitor work with a PS2? (I don't have a PS3 yet & have mothballed my driving seat.) IF my spare PC Monitor will work I'd have NO reason not to drag it out of storage. Thanks in advance.

All you need is an analog to VGA converter to use you old monitor from your RCA connector output.
