Pikes Peak challenge cars are very ugly IMO.

Is ground clearance not an issue on Pikes Peak?

And, that is far from a Toyota Tacoma. If only it was as sharp as this beast.

Edit: I thought they needed those wings for traction because there is not much room for going for top speed... so the wings could be large and the drag would not matter too much.

I'm probably in a minority but I disagree with the FW26 being ugly. I think it had a more purposeful front end than most F1 cars, like it was snorting up the road.

As for ugly F1 cars, I'll go for a few Ferraris. Normally, Ferrari F1 cars look great, but as for these...

1998 Ferrari F300 with "tower wings"

And the 1996 F310, which was a semi low-nosed car but uncompetitive...

...so mid way through the season they gave it a high nose, which looked equally awful! Not helped by the high cockpit sides introduced that year for safety, and the odd sidepods

They're better-looking than this year's cars. I always thought the 2008 racers looked like a Christmas turkey with four drumsticks instead of two, and not because they were packed in, but because the turkey was genetically modified to have four. All the aero aids, while no doubt useful, just made them look over-laden.

Yeah, But I think they look funny with a massive front wing and a tiny rear wing. To me they look a bit out of proportion. They do look better with no winglets and slicks though, I must admit.

Now the liveries themselves are quite nice. I just take issue with the fact that they've plastered it onto a chassis with all the aerodynamic efficiency of Rosie O'Donnell.

No. I'm fairly sure it's a variation of the McLaren M7 which was raced in Formula One in the late 1960's.

I´m pretty sure that is the M7C. So, yes, it raced in F1 in 1968 and/or ´69.

Lola have very rarely made a bad-looking car, love the Aston.
They have, however, made bad-quality cars....
