I'll drift what I like thank-you very much.
Thats what I'm trying to convey to people but they never seem to get that I;ME not them bought the game and can play it how I choose....nice mini van by the way LOL

I love how people call other people hackers even though no hacking exsists on GT6.
It's an excuse to avoid admititting defeat nine times out of ten

Some guy wanted to show off his LMP "drift" car. This was too good to be true (and it was). He just did a powerslide into a corner at 150 MPH, knocking six actual drifters out. The chat box filled up with angry complaints. The host and the arse nugget who was drifting both shared some sort of clan tag, so I assume they were friends. The host kicked six people and the guy in the LMP replied "thx bro lmao" and continued sliding around like a total idiot. I grew a pair and said "why did you kick them? they didn't do anything wrong." The host said "stfu *expletive*" and kicked me as well.

I am speechless.

And that is why I primarily play offline. Seems to me that more often than not the so-called AI is smarter than the "real" people. Would love to be part of an online group really interested in racing, but alas I don't see that happening! Online is more clickish than a bunch of middle school girls. At least that's my usual experience. Maybe one day I'll find that group or the Holy Grail. hehe...

Drift lobby, got kicked for calling a guy an idiot after he tried to explain to me that a 65' silvia was not a drift car you could only drift popular cars(rx7,370z ect)
This has happened to me quite a few times on GT5. I like to drift in my '04 Vanquish, but it seems some others don't think it should be allowed, so they boot me.

Yesterday in Bathurst i was getting my personal track record (or very close to it, i´ll never know) with my Ford GT06. Right before the finish some 13 year old with chromed GT-R somethingsomething drives the wrong way and crashes to me. "LOL ZOMG I CANT BELIEVE YOU TRY TO RACE SERIOUSLY". Room was labeled real racing.

It would be great to have an age limiter in rooms.

I can't stress the importance of ghosting your car in a free run Nurburgring lobby when trying to get a best time there.

Some of my favorite (not) abhorrent behavior is on-line rooms follow. I'm sure you all recognize at least some of them:

1. Players who to drive the course backward while folks are tuning and hot lapping. <Kicked, no questions asked>

2. Players who want to drive Bugatti's regardless the room format. Then are outraged when asked to change cars:odd:

3. Chrome paint lame car = kick no questions asked. <not really>

4. The Ayton Senna want to be’s. Those players who attempt to pass on most narrow part of any track.
This happens quite a bit at the ring.:irked:
5. Drag Racing anywhere except Indy drag strip, LeMans’, the two long Nurburing straights.

6. A driver clearly causes a wreck, and blames everyone but himself.:dunce::banghead::boggled:

I am all for PD providing drag racers with full featured drag strips. I used to do it (illegally) and loved it.
But you should never go to a race for real or for fun room and start a drag race...seriously?
Another reason for PD to build Hockenheimring and Sonoma Raceway…lol.:gtpflag:

I pass on narrow bits not because I want to be Senna, but because I don't like the rear view of their car and would prefer the front :p

True. Was hot lapping my Evoque (Yes yes yes I know, but it got a 7:32) when an idiot in an F1 was tailing me and passing at awkward parts (literally mid corner- pushing me off) and braking way too soon even for my Evoque. But still... 7:32 :dopey:

Yeah, but you're proably a skilled player/driver. Those whom I refer to are definitely not...LOL.👍
And 7:32.xxx in an Evoque is alien:crazy:

I agree, the only problem is some of us race clean and respectfully. What we really need is some type of reputation system regulated by Sony, so we can't get flagged by trolls. That way, if you're so low, you can only join rooms with other people that low.
Or have a system similar to NFS shift where you are judged during offline as well by your dirty/ clean driving characteristics such as dirty or clean passes, drafting, bumping etc

That would work as well, except I know some people intentionally race dirty offline, but not online. I personally even try to win in the dirty lobbies without attacking anyone (never works).

Kind of a great idea. But I sometimes get so much pissed off with the AI that I try to ram them ( usually the FXX) to the pit lane. But in online I always keep my cool and never ever try to ram anyone. And if I make a clear mistake I will slow little bit down and give way to the car i passed "dirty" and try to pass him/her later cleanly.

So it would be great if the driver would be judged and ranked by his behavior in online races.

I love how people call other people hackers even though no hacking exsists on GT6.
It exists, but not to the extreme of hybrids that were in GT5. People with jailbroken PS3s have unlocked stage 4 & 5 parts, but nothing PP limiting wouldn't be able to fix. Super Softs are reportedly back as well.

Apparently there is hacking.

Sorry for derailing the discussion :# I have no stories, not enough of my friends play GT6 to really want to play online.

Well then.. apparently the Hybrid-ing has begun. It's good that trading isn't enabled yet, so these won't be circulating around the community.
