Well I definitely recall being able to change your in-game name more than once unless PD changed it in a recent update I was unaware of.

My first dreadful experience was a biggie.

London cop room (Yeah, I know) in my Rocket, while the rest were in their Too-Many-HP Not-Enough-Grip Vipers. Their fastest lap around the track was 56.3 seconds.

One guy said "Lol c21 (get my name right idiot) is driving a bathtub." So I said "How many bath tubs can pull a sub-50 second lap?"

Didn't believe me... Didn't matter. I got a 48.400 on the second lap (first was already a 49.469). Suddenly, they were all trying to do it, but forgot their brakes at the first corner, the third and the massively run-offed right-hooker (Ill call it Trafalgar) and eventually gave up.

Laughed and left.

Joined a new room with 3 cops (SC- host, RML and YSI)

First off, I was hit by SC for no reason, a lot. So I thought "I'm not sticking around for this" and left his Punto in the weeds. I got a 1/3 from RML so I argued "I wasn't staying around to be hit for NO REASON"

Later on, RML was in a wall on the second to last turn, a pink 500 passed his Poogatti (gold chrome. Nuff said...) and I tried to get to the middle and not hit him- an he hit me. Okay, probably an accident. I'll ignore it. Got to the filter (the tightened track) and was forced to stop as there was a que. I was stopped when RML shunted me into Pink 500.

I snapped "TWICE YOU'VE HIT ME NOW RML" no reply. Couple of laps after. I'm driving normally and get to filter, SC is waiting at the end of it, so I pass through at a slower speed- he slams me into a wall and speeds off. I decide they owe me AT LEAST 3 points so decide I should let off steam by fast-lapping.

"2/3" says FML, I retort with "I think that I'm on 0/3- you and SC hitting me for NO REASON and all..."

The two lessons we can take away from this are,
1: Power isn't everything. 2: Idiots don't like being called out on their idiocy but it sure is worth doing it ( to me at least ).

Luckily, the worst I've seen online thus far are people who refuse to get off RS tires and actually play the game like it's supposed to be played. PD should make it so that road cars can only have road tires. SS tires are already like glue!

People use them for maximum grip in their cars because their cars (Like my Rocket... I've called her Zooey ) would be impossible to drive remotely fast with any road tyre. SS is more like that dried glue which just picks off easily with Zooey. Sounds fun- isn't.

The way I see it, GT6 is a new game. Not just for the die hards, but for people who may have never played a GT game before. I think we need to give it a few months and once some more games are released, or people buy a ps4, a lot of the idiots will have left for something else.

But yeah, I have another story for y'all. Kicked a guy from my cruise room because he was playing cop- I normally don't mind this if you ask and are good at it, but he was just getting annoying and ignoring my requests for him to stop. He got a tank car out when he finished pretending and I said "If he rams anyone let me know- he'll be out" he then changed to a Renault Megane racer- and couldn't control it for 🤬. He spun it (intentional or not) every corner at London and couldn't use his brakes, I kicked him because it was getting annoying and what do I get? A message with a phrase typically used by 9 year olds to describe men/women whom have tastes for the same type of weewee they have. Why oh why do these people even have the right to speak?

My experience in a "clean" titled race lobby while racing yesterday.

Overtakes driver on the straight through drafting, begin to turn in at the apex, other driver decides to not brake and go straight ahead, hitting me and knocking us both out of the race because apparently overtaking is the worst possible thing you could do to someone... Turns out Mr./Mrs. Grosjean was the room creator.

5 seconds later, I get kicked out for causing that collision? Really? Grosjean and Bernie Ecclestone esque tactics in one go? My goodness I think I'll stick to finding my races here on GTP.
