Yes I would. Despite the fact that I do not own one, a 2j is totally worth it imo. I have not seen it in the ucd yet but I believe it is around 14 M. Borrowed the car from a friend for a couple of cup races.
Actually I was saying noone in their right minds would use photomode, cockpit is IMO a bad view. You can do whatever you please, but I detest it, so to answer the original question: Yes, I would pay that money for standards.
EDIT: I also hate that standard vs premium always degenerate into cockpit view users VS the bumper cam using master race.
to me the cockpit view adds a lot of realism to driving, using the bumper view was fine in the days of GT4 and it might be easier getting results when racing against the AI but now I am not too sure.

it is, however im not sure why its not premium.
1. it looks almost premium from the outside.
2. f1 cockpits are very small and they could easily look at Ferrari that they have modeled already and create something very similar.
3. you need it for a specific event, i know they have the online dealership now and it has it all the time. but for the people who dont have online they will be looking for hours.
I would easily consider paying over 1million credits for a standard car and have done on a regular basis, allot of the better race cars are standard for example FGT.
I would, and have done. I've spent more money buying all the standards than I have buying all the premiums, and I can't say I feel bad about it. I tend to forget whether a car is standard or not when I'm racing anyway.
