@Jordan The formatting glitch hasn't come up in a while for me. (Watch it come up right after I post this :p)

But another glitch: The boggled, confused, crazy, eek!, guilty, idea, sick, indifferent, irked, mad, mischievous, roll eyes, thumbs down, and GTPlanet Logo don't work.

And I found on the Alert Preferences page "New Trophy." Is there a list of achievements anywhere?

i'm pretty sure you know yet that the mobile app doesn't work since you have updated the site/forum!

Anyway, you did an amazing job. I really like it ;)

Oh and that we're now able to ehm... natively (probably the wrong word) use fullscreen on youtube videos directly on the site.

The mobile app has been retired. The new site supports mobile devices and adjusts the layout depending on that device.

It took me a bit to get used to it, but I find the new mobile site format to be much more powerful and friendly then the old app.

What I would like to see in the mobile app, however, is a link "to top" that will link to an anchor to the top of the page. Other than that, works great.
 
Who else is loving the double post blocker :). I just had a situation where I pressed submit post twice and a message came up saying I couldn't perform action, must wait 5 secs. This could come in handy for some!

Those smilies should be working fine, but they're hosted on the same content delivery network servers which I think were causing those formatting problems. Look like I've got a lot more expensive work ahead.

Just tap the top of the screen and it should take you to the top of the page. That's native behavior in Safari on iOS.

Heavy Chrome user here. Might have to make the switch. :)
 
Actually, that's pretty standard in all iOS apps which have a scroll view. I just checked in Chrome and it works there as well. :)
 
I guess this is as good a place as any to address my concerns (all first world problems, of course ;))

I'm not a massive fan of the new layout, but it's a personal preference, and I'll get used to this. I'll just miss the old GTP :p My one main issue though is that the text box at the bottom of each page to post a reply is.. missing something. The button you click, and a drop down menu appears where you can select a text color. As it is at the moment, I have to use the [COLOR="<colorhere>"] tags, and type it out in full. Which is irritating when wanting to post a quick reply. No chance we can get the drop down menu back? Unless it's there and I'm just being a blind derp and not seeing it, but I've looked for a month of Sundays and can't find it.

The other is our little heading message that used to be above our posts :( Some were amusing, I used to enjoy reading them. Now, to be no more.

Third and finally is profile pictures, they're all the same size now and it drags out the pixel rate of each picture. Mine looks astonishingly rubbish now :lol: Looks like it was drawn on paint, and I don't know of any other versions with a higher resolution since I just found it online.

First world problems, and I don't want to come across critical or anything. My only real critisism is the text color menu. Other than that, it's clear a LOT of work has gone into this, and I salute @Jordan 's efforts.

(P.S.: The @username system is amazing).

Color tags can still be used but they have been removed as buttons from the WYSIWYG editor for design reasons. User titles are still present, but only in user profiles and the profile pictures/avatars were made a bit pixellated by the image processing of the new forum, but that's been updated so you should be fine if you reupload it (or use christara's link!).
 
For all the people having problems, I'm a member on bigsoccer and they use the same web provider as this new gt site and it is always having bugs and glitches and double posting etc.

edit: Oh and no multi quote option which is annoying
 
There is still multi quote, but not like what was before in GTP. Multi quote now is just hitting reply on each post that you want to quote.
 
Perhaps I'm just dense, but how do I view the EXIF info of images posted directly onto GTP?

I was hitting the top, but not the very top and wasn't getting the full scroll-to-top. 👍 Thank you!

There is still multi quote, but not like what was before in GTP. Multi quote now is just hitting reply on each post that you want to quote.

Sure i know that but its not practical because when you hit reply the page shoots right to the bottom so you have to scroll back up to find the other posts you want to quote.
 
My avatar used to show after threads where I'v replyed, is that feature removed or is there something wrong with avatar what my kid made? :lol:
EDIT: Nevermind I see it's only my avatar, so nothing is wrong 👍

Can someone help with my avatar please? It shows up in most threads as my ZENT SC430, but in the rumble strip it is my old Tilton Evo pic - really confusing me. It also switches between the two when I update my status.
