sorry not the right place but ive been trying for ages to get the ford mark 4 67 and cant get it. anyone got it thats looking for the lambo miuara and wants to trade?

also is there away to get 09/10 cars without going through all the child account stuff. seems that would take forever checking email confirmations etc.

Hi,

i got some "Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone" or an "BMW 2002 Touring 73" to trade for an "Ferrari F10" or an "Red Bull X1" or some "German Touring Cars".

if someone is interested: add me at the PSN: vayacontioz01

So quick recap;

1. Make a fake PSN account with a fake email and DOB as the current day

2. Enter in real address

3. Login, save password and make the username easy to remember.

4. Add main account to friends list

5. Switch to main account and accept fake account

6. Switch back to fake account

7. Start GT5

8. Buy used car

9. Receive ticket and gift to main account

10. Quit GT5

11. Delete the game save of your fake account.

12. Repeat steps 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 to the desired amount

13. Switch to main account, start GT5 and redeem the tickets.

Is this correct or is something I've written wrong?

I'd like to just confirm something if possible.. (only owned a PS3 for a month of so)

Step 11. - Deleting the save file - I assume this will only delete the save file of the user currently logged into the PS3? Because i've not had the console long, i'm still getting to grips with things. I don't really want to end up wiping out my GT5 data for my main account. :ouch:

Thanks in advance.

Yes, as long as it's just the save file that is (I believe) 3 clicks above the disc on the Game menu.

At the top, IIRC, is the game data which is different and I think that is where all the patches and whatnot is. Don't delete that.

Just on a side note and i am not sure if this has been noted already... When we start up for the first time and get our present we have 20,000 credits to spend also so what i have been doing is buying parts for the car. i know its not much but its enough for a full exhaust and bits and bobs. Then "trade the car" to your main login. Just a tip. I know 20,000 credits is not alot but at least its not our credits :). Hope this helps!

* I am doing "Fully Customisable Kit" which is $15,000 and First stage Weight reduction for $5,000 and i am left with $0.. Making the most out of 20,000 i think...

When having to delete game saved data, you will want delete only the (Game saved data TM Gran Turismo) pertaining to the user name you are currently using/logged in. In this case, the "fake" one you created to get this glitch working for you. Then simply restart the game and the game will create new save data, which in turn you will delete again if you want another car of that same year. It's basically repeating th same process until you get all the cars you want or get bored of doing it.

I got 2 Jaguar XJ13 yesterday back to back lol just gave one to one of my firends.

Can we change the birthday year of the newly created account without having to delete it or creating a new one of a different year? I tried doing this, but didn't see an option to do so anywhere..

No u have never been able to change dates, u must do new accounts each time.

Just a quick question for those who have made a 2010 sub account. When I go to make this account I am asked to give credit card information to confirm that I am over 18. I do have a credit card but I would prefer not to give this information out if I was to do this multiple times (making a new account a different day) Is this a Canada only feature?

are you kidding me?? don't listen to this guy (sorry if i sound mean) but just delete the save file for GT5!! it will save you sooooooo much time.

I think Mortuus is right though.. What I meant was accessing the PSN network and changing the year on the newly created acct. in order to get a different year car without having to again create another fake acct. You may be able to delete the saved data, yes, but not change the year of the acct.

Interesting, something to do with the chat function and not connecting to the network if not enabled, WTF I can't figure it out

Yep, that was it. You have to remember to use the parent account to activate the chat settings for the sub-account.

edit: nvm i read the original post wrong I thought he meant making a new account every time for a new car. sorry

I think I'm going to do this again for 1967. Does anyone know if I can create another sub-account for someone that would be older than me? Or does it pay just to use fake e-mails and CCs (not sure if the card is needed for America).

You wont need a sub account for 67. Just create the account from your PS3 and you wont need a credit card either.

Alright thanks.

By the way, does anyone want a 2010 Peugeot 908 Total?

So quick recap for getting '92 and earlier cars:
One has to go into the main user acct. and set all parental control settings to 0 in order for the system to allow this to work with other sub accts right? After that, everyhting remains the same?
