So they didnt kill the cheat with the patch yesterday? Good to know..i will try this finally tonight.

Y'all please bare with me, I'm a bit thick at times.
Can someone please do me a solid and post the steps for creating a sub account? I futzed around with this for a bit last night and had no luck.
I'm sure others will appreciate it as well.
Thanks in advance,
The Dude.

How're you guys doing this for 2010? Friend of mine said it worked for 2009, but not for 2010, but some people in this thread seems to have gotten 2010 cars.

I think this is ****ing BS. This is very bad for the GT5 economy.

The GT5 economy is suffering from the recession considering the pitiful credits and awful prize cars given out for events.

This could have all been avoided if the GT5 actually paid out decent sums of cash.

If anyone has any of the Chaparal cars they dont need i'd be extremely grateful. Ill gift something in return once i get something worth gifting! PSN; "Warbzula"

I have to agree, this is pretty ghey. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if/when PD drops the hammer on people that have abused this.

I can see it now --> "WTF? My saved game is gone?????"

Priceless...

And watch the sales of GT6 plummet?

GT5 advertised with all the classic race cars and the X1 both of which require unholy amounts of grinding. NASCAR which only has 12 cars, a 5 race championship of which only two are ovals. WRC, no championship and effectively only three rally events they can enter which pay only once. The JGTC, no championship and only three short events.

Seriously, the percentage of people exploiting this is negligible compared to the # of people that own the game. Losing that small percentage of players wouldn't even show up on the radar screen when it comes to Sony's/PD's financials.

God forbid it take some work to acquire cars eh? And just because the current races/payouts/costs of cars are what they are today, that in no way means they'll be that in the future -- that's what patches are for. But I digress...

Everyone is entitled to enjoy their game as they see fit --I hope it works out for everyone. For me at least, this just takes the fun out of it.

My nephew did this and he said it's break even (time wise) with just running the American Championship Indy track. In order for this to beneficial I think you'd have to get cars that sell for $94k on average. Plus you don't get the XP...

That said, it's your game, do as you please. I personally don't want any Bday cars. But that's just how I want to play my game.

I'm not just referring to the people who used the exploit, the entire economics plus experience aspect of the game is putting a lot people off after the reach a certain level. In my opinion i see a lot of casual players ditching the game in the near future because they feel they have seen everything they can see in the game within a reasonable time frame. This may effect future sales.

My user name says it's unregistered. Does anyone know how to register it?

btw.. did anyone notice that when winning a Race Car, the song is usually to more of a victory song than mellow a song?

Barring you don't get XP, the the issue of credits: this method > racing method.

By racing, you'd make 94K, but you save up that money to buy a x-million car and you have to start from scratch after it is bought. On the other hand, through this method you get a bunch of cars, you sell it for money that is then added on top of the money you've already earned AND have that x-million car for free.

Count Shagula, I'm willing to trade the Peugot 905 '92 as well. I have an XJ13 in my garage, but I guess it'll have to be tomorrow since you already sent me a car today.

I see a purple formula gt in the used lot now but I'm 2 mil short. Guess I will have to resort to the birthday trick to get the money...

Is there a better year than 66, by selling the shelby cobra, to make money?

RB6
I did my research since last night and it only takes 5 minutes to get an F10 for free. 90% of F10 owners in GT5 have used this method!

I know the people that can get F2010 for free easily by glitching the birthday present on a new PSN account with 2010 birthday year and the date of today so they get it for free if they had master card to register a 2010 birthyear account with today's date. But I do not have a master card :O to make minor sub PSN account!

Please add me : illnessillusion

if you are kind enough I would like an F10 car too :)

note that if you want to give me an F10 car do not bother sending the F10 car to your main PSN account because there is a 1 gift send per day limit.

Just PM private message me that you want to give me the F10 car so you can add my PSN : illnessillusion then give me the car.

I just wanted people to not waste time farming 10,000,000 CR for 2 days straight while other people are getting it in 5 minutes....

/cheers
can someone add on to this? do you just make a new account with a 2010 year date and you automatically get an f10?

A) Its a scam
B) It was only "valid" yesterday but since it was a scam it was never valid.

If you have a 2010 birthdate then PSN, and GT5 won't let you online, I know because my son is 5 and he can't play GT5 online with me on his regular account.

Well for a lot of us, we have jobs and lives outside of video games. I can play an hour at most a couple days out of the week and a bit more on the weekends if I'm lucky. I paid $60 bucks to play a game, I don't have the time nor desire to sit and grind out a game for hundreds of hours to drive a fake car. If you are still in high school or college and have nothing but time, great, I had my chance as well. Now I don't.

GT5 is supposed to be fun for me. At a certain point driving the same race over and over just to rack up fake money and xp is the exact opposite. So you'll forgive me and the rest of us who love this exploit think the "it should be work" argument is retarded. I play GT5 when I don't want to work, not to have a second job.
