Same here, i tried this cheat to get a Toyota 7, so i gifted myself 5 different bday cards but when i connected my main account, i only had 1 ****** car. 4 were missing..

I just started, and it's worked twice for me. Got a stupid Beat the first time, but I got a Nissan R92CP Race Car the second time.
Now I'll see if I can gift it and get it on my main account.

And if anyone knows how you can check if your account is a master account, I'd like to know. If not, then I just make a new master account just so I can make a sub account?

Edit: I successfully received and redeemed by gift cars.

same here. You still get the car on the b-day account but it doesn't show up on the main account. This sucks. I have a nice car I want just sitting there. hmmm what about gifting it to someone else??? Are there different servers that run the gifting process that might be down? I didn't download a patch or anything

Yes. I read somewhere that sending the car as a gift through the Community section works, which is what I've been doing. Are you guys sending them that way?

It's not working properly with me anymore. I checked my main account after sending 3 cars and I only received one. I should have done this days ago.

The same just happened to me with years 67 and 70 (although only 2 gifts for the latter). Then I tried sending me one from 2010, and it worked. After that, I tried 66, 67, and 70 (one gift card from each), but only 66 worked.

I am looking for a Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car ‘67 or a very nice race car from the late 80s on, or one of the formulas. I have a spare Jaguar XJ13 Race Car ‘66, a Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 ‘67 and a Ford Mark IV Race Car ‘67. Not anymore, only my first two went through. The last six haven't gone through. Interestingly, I sent a car from my main account to my dummy account and I received it. So the gift system is working, it's just not working in our favor.

As an update, it appears PD is getting wise about this. After making a new account, that new account can send one gift car ticket just fine. The second one you try to send though stalls and then it says you can't because you aren't connected to the network (even though you are). If you try again, it says it sent ok and the ticket goes away (presumeably sent off to your main account), but log into your main account and you won't have a gift in the mail. So, I'm thinking that because sending these requires they be sent through the network, PD hasn't had to wait to release a patch, they are just limiting allowed ticket gifting to just one ticket it would seem. To do it again you must create another account and repeat. Any tickets sent after the first just dissapear into nothingness when you send them.

This was posted in the other thread. Doesn't even seem worth it since it takes so long to create a new account. You could just be doing the usual grind instead.

@andrez Yeah, if it's limited to let's say, one gift per day, it's not worth it. Not to mention your PS3 can only make an X amount of accounts in it's lifetime.

@doctorandrew You should time how long it takes between successful tickets. I have an F40 right now and I was thinking of waiting a bit before sending it.

Well I just got home and tried it myself. Only one of the two I tested with came across, and I did this 30 times last night so something is definitely up. I think our gifting fun is coming to an end.

btw.. I tried creating a '99 acct, but can't seem to link such new created acct to my master acct. I received the email, went online to PSN and selected "no" for all parental options and it said the acct had been created. What next? Can anyone shime in?

There is still some good to this though, not for money, but for cars, say you're looking for a specific car, you make an account for that year, and you wait until you get the car you want instead of sending all of them..

Yeah, it seems they blocked it for good.
I sent 3 Corvettes on a new '69 acct I just created and only the very last car(Stingray '69) came through.. oh well, so much for free cars anyways. Hopefully many people were able to get a lot of cars by now. Kinda sucks that only one per day can be transfered now, but at least it's better than nothing. Like Fabian says, we'd have to check the car before sending it then.. so much for those '92 and later year cars lol
