Seasonal Events. Not the near-permanent kind we had in previous games, but weekly rotations with lucrative rewards at stake. So for example, imagine a temporary time trial challenge leaderboard with conditions defined by PD. They've done it before and the possibilities and different formats to explore are many.

I think something like this would help the game feeling more alive in between the monthly content updates. Variety is key and not everyone is into Sport Mode after all.

I'd like no regeneration of cars after incidents.

As it is now it's helpful half the time, the other half the time it just cause more problems for the other cars. Often the incident is race ending anyways, regenerating in last, having to finish the race only to hope for someone else to go off track.

In these cases I feel it's much more effective to retire the car and have a review of the incident and if necessary send a clear message that you or they have ruined someone's race. And hope you or they can learn from it.

Nothing is learned the way it is now.

  • Competent AI
  • Qualifying in offline events- no rabbit racing!
  • More endurance events in offline, with in-game save.
  • More endurance events in Sport. (Wait, this should be "add endurance events in Sport"...)
  • Keep up with current MFR models/colors (Huracan Performante, 720s, 488GTB, C7 Z06, Mustang GT350, etc. Oh, and that mid-engine piece from Bowling Green would be a guaranteed yes-I'll-buy-your-game item for me...)
  • Penalty system that makes sense and actually deters players from trashing someone's entire race to gain one position. (Bumped from behind, get penalty, WTF? Bashed into wall and turned around, lose 8 places, player that hit you gets 5 seconds...)

Gay music? I thought it was established that it was cheesy porno music?

I actually like those tunes, and the UCD music in GT5 too. The music in GT is one of the things that made it stand out. While most every other car game goes for rock, GT went for Jazz, bossa nova, and lounge. The menu tunes are pure class in GT. Race music on the other hand has always been lack luster, with only a few notable exceptions like Sub Focus' "Follow the Light" and The Cardigan's "My Favourite Game". Ironically the latter one is more relevant now than it was in GT2.

GTS onwards the paint system is just like regular racing game where now you can select all colour...so paint chip is no longer needed I think; paint chip is just for those who want a car color to be exact same as that paint chip, but GTS gave you choices now.

Or maybe just add "Color Picker" to pick exact same color as that car you wanted.
Ah right. What I mean is when purchasing a car, the colour you choose gets added to your collection of colours, which you can apply to the other cars. Like the official colours you can purchase in the Mileage Exchange.

Small feature I’d like is the option to switch liveries easier. Like when you are in scapes or entering s race and select a car, a pop up appears asking “current livery” or “change livery”.

A major feature I’d like is GT Auto to return with proper tuning parts and the option to turn road cars into Gr.B, Gr.4 or 3 cars and the return of seasonal events.

In other words....Racing Modification? That was in the first of GTs...

I do want fictional Gr. 3 etc. cars to be used as RM materials.

Yea racing modifications but with the option on Gr.B, 4 or 3 so a bit different to previous GT’s
Tbh...Racing Modification doesn't give you static performance stats so I think Gr. 4 or Gr. 3 division isn't that necessary, just buy/fit certain parts to put the car in either Gr. 4 or Gr. 3, and simply equip car with rally tires for Gr. B.

There needs to be a proper league and teams feature in the game. It's ridiculous that players can't otherwise identify as part of a team without changing their PSN ID.

Aftermaket wheels that give a slight difference in performance.
Aftermaket exhaust with different exhaust note.
Other upgrades that changes the sound of the car.
Better audio.
Tesla model 3 performance.

As above, dynamic time and weather, tuning shop, I didn't think I'd miss putting a ridiculous wing on a car umtill I couldn't do it on GTS.
B-Spec Bob can do race simulations and tyre testing
A data logger . . .

Just for starters.

1. A proper "custom race" setting. One that allows you to change things like the amount of opponents, restrict car choices, etc...

2. Proper endurance racing. Not just 1 hour races, but varying degrees of races. For instance, maybe a 1 hour, 3 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour race.

3. More real life tracks or the return of classic tracks from previous titles. My top two would be twin ring motegi and trial mountain.

4. Oval racing. NASCAR and or Indycar race cars and tracks such as Daytona or Indy.

5. Bring back Seasonal events or something like them. Maybe something like a weekly rotation of races that require a specific car, have increase difficulty, and have increased payout and XP or even a prize car.

How about combining the 2 and 4? I wanna see the real NASCAR or Indycar racing, where it's Championship but the tracks have their IRL laps. It's like GT4 where it got the closest to 'real' F1 racing, with similar number of races and their laps (GT4's Formula GT).

What I would love to see in Gran Turismo 7

- 25+ Real Tracks on Release day
- Full VR
- lobby Settings like in GT6 (Qualifying etc)
- Export Replay Option Without Black Borders. using PS5 Rendering capabilities to enhance output.
- Career Mode, With Competitive A.I.
- Offline Saving
- Support For Streaming (livetiming) and GT Communitys (League Racing)

Language detecting field around my car that can distinguish between friendly touring car door rubs and savage punts by the French and Spanish would be pretty nice.
I wonder if it would be possible to do something like online shooters with friendly fire, where the "victim" of the accident can choose to forgive / punish the assaulter.

Maybe something that if the system couldn't clearly determine what caused the accident it'd ask both parties involved.

Obviously I have a list of features I’d like to see but as the thread asks for my most wanted only i would have to go with full VR.

Better and more adjustable cockpit view... In AC and PCars it definitely feels like the only/correct way to drive, but in GT's it has always been just a nice optional feature no one is using, except those who only use it to brag instead of for pure immersion.

Few flaws:
- Pitch black shadows during daytime
- FOV making everything look miniature and gameish
- Extra pair of hands and a steering wheel
- Lack of proper rear mirror
- HUD is always on or off -> either too much data on screen to break the immersion or not enough: laps, timers, position, race strategies/car setups... Also the pitch black shadows are often making it impossible to read dashboard gauges etc.

I'd really like to compare my GTS's driving to IRL, AC or PCars 2 but with the lacking onboard view it's impossible.
