Forza 7 Specialty Dealer Update: Week One Revisited

It’s that time of the week: Forza Motorsport 7’s Specialty Dealer update is now live. As always, the update features three new cars that are up for grabs and is a good mix of sport and muscle.

This week’s stock is a little curious as it’s a repeat of the game’s week one roster. First up is the 1970 Falcon XY GTHO Phase III, the homologation special of the Falcon GT.

Featuring a heavily upgraded 351 Cleveland V8, the GTHO is an impressive one. Engine power ranges from 350-380 horses and for a time, the Falcon held the honor of the fastest four-door production car. Even more impressive is its racing history. Of particular interest is its dominant win in the 1971 Bathurst 500.

Next up is the 2010 Mazda MX-5 Super20. Celebrating the MX-5’s 20th anniversary, the Super20 reinvents Mazda’s evergreen roadster in more ways than one. At its heart is a supercharged Cosworth-built 2.0-liter engine making 225hp. While a one-off in the real world, there’s no such limitation in the game — so have at it.

The final vehicle on the roster is the 1995 NISMO GT-R LM. Another one-off, the R33 is the result of Nissan turning its attention to GT1 racing. Focusing on the R33, Nissan stripped its weight, converted it to rear-wheel drive and tuned its engine. That’s to say nothing of the LM’s most significant feature: that bodykit.

The Specialty Dealer stock should be available for a week, though given the holiday season, it may stretch an extra seven days. If you missed this trio the first time, or simply want more for the garage, grab them before next Tuesday to be safe.
