New Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges: Are You Not N-tertained?

A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges lands this Friday, July 31, once your console clock rolls past midnight into the new week. Five events are up for grabs over the next seven days, along with the usual run of bonus tickets for anyone who clears them.

If you’re new to the format, Weekly Challenges unlock once you’ve cleared the GT Cafe career through Menu Book 39 and sat through the ending movie. Each set pairs four standard World Circuits races with one Special Event built just for the week, and completing them earns bonus tickets at one, three, and five events finished, delivered to your Gifts and needing to be redeemed before the set expires. Clear the whole thing with clean race bonuses intact and there’s roughly 1.3m credits in cash and prizes on the table.

This Week’s Highlights

The Special Event carries the week: a one-make race for the Hyundai Elantra N TC ’24 around the Red Bull Ring. It’s a six-lap sprint worth 95,000cr to the winner, with every car in the field running identical machinery.

On the World Circuits side, the Gr.1 Prototype Series at Watkins Glen Long Course closes out the set with the week’s biggest single payout at 220,000cr. It’s a 15-lap race on Racing tires capped at 950PP, and it’s the only event this week that turns into a genuine fuel and tire management exercise, with tire wear set to 6x and fuel consumption to 4x.

The Vision Gran Turismo Trophy at Nurburgring GP is the second-highest reward at 100,000cr, a five-lap race for VGT machinery capped at 850PP. The European FR Challenge 550 at Dragon Trail – Gardens sits in the middle at 25,000cr over three laps, while the Sunday Cup Classic at Goodwood Motor Circuit is the low point of the week: just 5,000cr for two laps in a Road car. Clearing it still counts toward the 100,000cr ticket that lands after your very first win, though, so it’s worth the two minutes even at that price.
