Financial Analysts Comment on Impact of GT5 Delay

Eurogamer has some interesting comments from financial and industry analysts on what the delay means for Sony and the PlayStation brand this fall during the critical Christmas sales season.

Capital Research’s Jesse Divnich: “I don’t believe a GT5 delay impacts Sony’s current momentum. GT5 is such an anticipated title that delays are unlikely to impact consumer’s purchase intent. Whether released a week later or the last week of December, sales will be astronomical.”

Wedbush Securities’ Michael Pachter: “Without knowing the date, it’s impossible to say,” he said. “If it’s a week, no impact. If after Need for Speed, they could lose some momentum.”

M2 Research’s Billy Pidgeon: “Another delay on Gran Turismo is disappointing, especially to the most enthusiastic fans of the franchise. Still, there have been so many delays that another one is not surprising. Obviously, there’s not much time left in the holiday season so Yamauchi and Polyphony have got to go gold within two months.

I wouldn’t revise PS3 uptake estimates on this news as it is still possible GT5 is released in Q4 2010 or Q1 2011 and is likely to spur new and upgrade console sales. Sony has set the visuals bar pretty high with Gran Turismo,” he offered, “so it is crucial that the graphics (as seen on HDTV and in stereoscopic 3D with camera-based head tracking) impress the critics and the fans. Gran Turismo 5’s timely release is perhaps even more crucial to Sony’s 3D TV division than it is to PS3. In-store demos of GT5 may be the best case Sony can make to consumers for 3D TV.”

If this gets pushed past the Holiday season it will absolutely have a financial impact. For every hard core fan, there will be several other non hardcore fans who will be choosing between GT5 and some other game that IS available during the Holiday season. Getting a product out for the Christmas season is absolutely everything in the retail industry.

  2. Casey G.

i welcome this delay news, now i can fully devote at least the next 2+ months to my Master League on Pro Evo 2011.

  3. Pelle

BUT, there is a reasonable limit for everything. If the release is postponed to Christmas 2011, then total frustration I will tear up my racing pants into pieces.

  4. Dave-o

It’s a good job am a patient man (and also tight as a fish’s a*shole) so I always planned to wait for this game to go platinum before buying it (I still have to buy a PS3 as well so the longer I wait the cheaper it gets). I feel for you if you are hanging out to get playing though.

Hmm, I reckon the delay will have zero effect on the time to go Platinum :-\

    1. Pelle

I share your feeling. Patience always pays off, also while driving and racing. Frustration and anger are understandable, but will only increase the pain unnecessarily.

  5. Dave-o

I don’t believe there is no financial impact of a delay. They may not lose sales but cash in the bank now is worth more than the same sales volume in the future.

  6. Don_Juan

I think its because they had over 4000 preorders for the SE of GT 5 and thought, come on.. why not at least everyone who preordered the SE should be able to spend like 250$ on it.. so lets produce some more ;) im ok with that^^ (sry, correct my englisch)

  7. Sigmaviper11

One of the forums just copied a tweet from Kaz statsing its due to some of the systems not being as easy to, what I presume code.

  8. Maxiboy

Well ive officially wasted my money buying a PS3. I bought it when they came out specifically for GT5, now im going to get two weeks to play it before the PS4 comes out. What an absolute joke.

    1. BWX

@fredyellowone “Ps4 will unlikely hit stores before 3 years.” ——- Yeah, but GT5 will “unlikely hit stores” before three years either.. So I guess GT5 should be a PS4 title.

Wait, that will be a big fat honking LIE from PD/KY/SONY too.. They won’t be happy with PS4’s 4.5GB of RAM, it was supposed to have 8GB RAM like XBOX QUBED 2012 edition, but SONY are cheap bean counters. That means no antialiasing or anisotropic filtering unless run at 1080i, only 30 cars on track when KY wanted 34 cars, only 12 cars’ headlights light up the road at night instead of 15 out of 30 like KY jelly bean wanted… only 34 seconds of tire smoke/dust from any one car at a time, KY wanted smoke/dust to stay on screen for at least 58.5 seconds for his “vision of race driving perfection” to be complete to 97.799232%of his standards.

PS4 GT titles ALL NEED TO BE 97.81232456% of KY’s vision of perfection by the date 12-12-12 at 12:12:12 AM! That’s like freakin 2.01309% LOWER THAN KY’s lowest acceptable standard! Are you insane? That was a prophecy handed down though many years of SONY game hype commercials, WE CANNOT let the GT fans down!

We’ll have NO CHOICE but to make GT5 a PS5 title, after all SONY need to sell their new HOLO TVs that no one seems to want. WE NEED A ‘KILLER APP!!! I know that HOLO TV is a teeny bit cumbersome, but it’s only two small extra floors required to add to your house, and the operation for the implants that connect via blu-eye 7.9 (bluetooth 12.13) to your optic nerve isn’t THAT expensive. I mean come on people! All the Chinese are doing it, it isn’t as if we are asking you for your first-born. Of course the New World Order already mandated legal rights to your first-born, “FBR” for short…. but hey, we all have free health care, and there will be zero carbon emissions for the first time in history projected next year- 2021. Now that our genetically enhanced clones are mining helium 3 on the moon to power our satellite reactor power stations that beam back energy via microwave.

Yes, 10AA, a great year for GT5H release date, (HOLO edition)…
(or 2022 AD, —>10 AA ‘After Armageddon’)

Life is good under the one world government.

      PS3, it only does LIES

    2. ~SubZeroRacingTeam~

      @ BWX:

By the time I got to “Holo’s” (holographic T.V.’s I’m assuming), you had me laughing in tears!! I’m in stitches man!!! LMAO literally…

  9. NASCARFAN160

AGH! IT’S 2008 ALL OVER AGAIN! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

  10. fonzdaii

Kaz is taking the heat right now, but we all know it’s not PD’s call by Sony’s. They simply want to release for xmas so that people buy more bundles and ps3s.

At least give us the demo!!!!!!

  11. UnkaD013

Maybe it’ll finally hit shelves on 12-21-2012, when we all find out that the world wasn’t quite ready for something so phenomenal. lol

  12. fredyellowone

Just looked at my Gamestop Canada order.
Seems my collector edition will not drop 3 November, but 16 november instead.
    Yep, of this year.

  13. Squidwert

LOL i said we’ll see the game in 2011 and my mate said the end of the year so we put €50 on it. rfactor 2 will be out before GT5. I’m not going to buy it now :)

  14. fredyellowone

Sony employee to Kaz : “Hey Kaz, think you gonna release GT5 for novermber 2?

Kaz : Well, we’re not ready yet. We will try to release our game just a week before Killer instinct 3 or Time Splitters 4.

Sony employee : “you know… those two games are myths. They may never come out.

    Kaz : “That’s what i said.”

  15. nintandrew

The game’s done, Sony just wants to wait for an optimal payout, BUT Kaz will decide they can fine tune the programming in that time, but when Sony says it’s time, PD will be like “Hold on, we just need to increase the reflectivity of the rain 15%, it should only take another couple months…” Thus, 2011 release.

I actually hope for pre-Christmas release this year.

  16. madaz75

Further Delays on GT5.. I would not be surprised if Australia gets the rough end of the Pineapple AGAIN, and won’t get GT5 Till MARCH 2011.. AS USUAL.

I am rapidly losing faith in Polyphony Digital and Kazunori Yamauchi

  17. Bolg

I would welcome a delay if they were going to sort out what will be the fundamental problem with GT5, to have interior views on all cars, but that’s not going to happen, this totally sucks balls.

    1. Tenacious D

No, it could be that, and they may have come up with a huge package they couldn’t patch in, like a livery editor, or perhaps Online needed to be tweaked to work properly with more than 12 Premium cars.

I know a lot of people feel like this guy:

      “iamgt5
see, that’s the problem with being status quo. you just sit back and take it. if pd sees an outraged community, they might actually try to hurry.”

A number of games were “hurried,” such as every Forza. They all had issues that could NOT be patched, and made the game a pain for those of us who wanted those features.

If you don’t mind a Gran Turismo which blows up from time to time, then yes, rush it. But personally, I’d much rather wait for a near perfect game.

  18. Woggster

Let’s face it. Sony & PD aren’t stupid, right? So therefore they wouldn’t release the game after Christmas otherwise they’d lose millions of dollars in sales, correct?
This is more than just a small delay, they must be fixing problems in the game and adding things to it.
That’s why i say that it’s either going to be realised around Christmas 2010, or sadly, Christmas 2011.

Sadly the 2011 date sounds more plausible.

  19. F.G.

Where are all those people who mocked me a month ago when I warned you that you would not see GT5 in November. Where are you now?

As I said back then, I have an inside source at PD who told me that they knew they wouldn’t make the November deadline. He also told me a lot of other stuff that many of you would not want to hear. And you’re not going to hear it, because I must be lying, right? Too bad for you guys. You’ll just have to wait for the shocks in store

    1. FlareKR

I’ll still say your inside source is a polka dot unicorn elephant hybrid seen in a puff of smoke in a cafe in San Fransisco, but you’ll get credit for this one.
No names, don’t care. No videos, don’t care. You’re just not Jesus enough to convince me or the rest of us without us seeing the info.

  20. Maxiboy

The sales team should be tied up, gagged and SHOT! Im almost hoping GT5 is a hit with the hardcore fans but a complete flop with the casual gaming community. I hope they sell no more than 1mil copies, enough for them to want to make more, but not enough for ANYONE to get a bonus or any kudos off this pathetic and short sighed sales strategy. This is appalling and these guys should have to appologise to their family for being such a failure and bringing eternal shame on the family because of their ineptitude.

    1. Tenacious D

You’re a boy, all right… none of that made any sense whatsoever. But that’s life in the internet age…

  21. pasigiri

I have to agree with this article. Sony has a LOT riding on this title. But being on time (Nov. 2) IS part of getting it right.

  22. marchy

If only PD would release a demo just to ease the pain a little… I don`t even mind if it is exclusively for Playstation Plus, I would gladly pay the fee and sign up in a flash!!

    1. Stune

      Agreed!

      1. I dont think they will be silly enough to wait to after Christmas, fingers crossed eh.

      2. Who actually cares about 3d? The whole idea is a waste of time. I cant even stand it in cinema. Pay an extra £2 just to wear some stupid glasses and walk out with a headache.

  23. Daniel Learmouth

I’m not disappointed. Of course this is going to take a while; I’m patient. However, I may not be as patient as I think.
I can wait Polyphony. I’m not sure if the others will share my view point, but I do think that it will be an immense creation; perhaps the greatest creation you have made.

  24. Stune

Lets be honest many PS3’s have been sold on the notion GT5 would have been released years ago. Theres only so long this can go on for.

    1. m0j0

i bought my PS3 for GT 2 years ago or so, when there was talk about the game being released that Holiday season.

been using it to play NCAA games, everything else i do on my xbox (NCAA are U.S. only game and i`m EU)

  25. apm310

Some Sony exec must have just heard the McLaren F1 video (and how it sounds like echoed, hammered ass) and ordered a complete sound engine overhaul.

  26. Squozen

I just pre-ordered NFS: Hot Pursuit. Criterion make great games and — *shock* — they actually come out when they say they will.

    1. FlareKR

I’m not getting HP, I canceled the pre-order when I heard the developers asshole remarks on not including split-screen. “Pfft, split-screen, that’s a thing of the past.”
“Pfft, Need for Speed:HP preorder, it’s in the trash.”

  27. Red_9

Hell, they even dealt with political issues, and that didn’t cause a delay (the karting ring’s flag), but two and a half weeks from release, and somehow something huge goes wrong?

Why is it that they always seem to wait until the last minute to change it? If they know they’re not going to make the release a month and a half prior, tell us then when we’re not as excited. Don’t wait until two weeks prior and then say “Hey, we’re delaying this another two months, maybe three.”

You’re seriously pissing all over your fans, PD. You’ve been doing it for five years.

  28. NS

Although I am pissed myself, the guy is working to provide us with the best he can. I don’t think he enjoys being cursed and blamed by us all but still tries to do his best. In a big project like this a lot of things could go wrong even last minute. That’s the reason there are a million games out there unplayable because of their producers’ rush to get the game to the market. If anyone knows programming/modeling/whatever they probably know that even in simple stuff things can go wrong and you end up working extra days for things you were certain that would work in the first place. And in PD we are talking about hundreds of different people trying to ‘merge’ their part…

See what happened with F1 2010. A lot of chit-chat, raised expectations up high, game is UNPLAYABLE to my standards. Played it like 20 mins and dumped it.. 3 weeks till it was released and still no word for a patch to fix WHEEL ISSUES (my GOD, didn’t they expect that people would use wheels?).

I am surprised that although I don’t endorse piracy, now that the ps3 has been jailbroken, a lot of people because they are so mad because of the whole situation, they will probably cancel their orders and get it pirated; I am suprised no-one mentioned that already. :/

  29. Apollo

If you liken waiting for GT5 to waiting for a girl most people woulve already ditched the girl, I wonder whats so different about GT5.

    1. FlareKR

LOL, We’ve all been there. However there’s the lot of us that feels bad dumping her, that’s why we’re still here.

    2. GoldUltima

The game isn’t trying to dump you but still not hurt your feelings…it wants to hook up with you after it’s done washing it’s hair and it wants to fulfil all your fantasies when it finally gets to your place.

  30. Icant55

…………..No such thing as “A PERFECT GAME” if there was there wouldn’t another after that! KAZ needs to understand that… He’s already mention gt6 and 5 isnt out … maybe he hit his head while he was racing on the nurburgring…Or he’s sitting in his garage with the car on and the garage door down…either way NOT GOOD!

  31. GT'ireland

so its about the 3D caper again..what do you guys think? Janurary? Maybe they want to release the PS3/GT5 bundle to make more money before the game itself is released or maybe im just talking nonsense.

  32. Red_9

The mere fact that they even MENTION Q1 2011 literally makes my blood boil. I honestly am beginning to think that Yamauchi is too goddamn arrogant for his own good. He thinks his game is like the end-all-be-all of racing games and thinks it’s going to be perfect. Obviously perfection is impossible so he’s constantly falling short of that mark, so they keep delaying it.

He’s going to have to realize eventually that his expectations of this game are far too lofty.

That being said, they did say they were going to be working on it consistently all the way until release, so maybe they’re giving themselves extra room to properly smoothen it. Of course, if they think we’re all just going to sit around and accept delays over and over, he is DAMN wrong.

    1. Pelle

Yes, even Sony’s image has been tarnished, but eventually things will be ok. Still, a big mistake by PD and perhaps by Kaz himself.

We expect at least a traditional Japanese “bowing apology” :D

  33. WTF Mate?

“If after Need for Speed, they could lose some momentum.”

Does this guy get paid for spouting crap? What a load of uninformed bollocks. People won’t buy GT5 because Need For Speed is out? They’re completely different games, you tit.

    1. George

True Gran Turismo fans like us know that they are very different games, but the majority of games have more money than the dedicated fans and are the easiest group to allure with a nice advertised game. Also if you are gonna buy 2 games this christmas season, you would never buy 2 racing simulators…
Tell me your thoughs on this.

    2. Sigmaviper11

I think a lot of these estimates are based on like, people limiting how much they purchase. So say, GT5 comes out within 2 or three weeks of COD or NFS or Fallout NV they’re probably thinking, ok people may only buy one or two games. Shooters generally sell more than racing games, specially in the states. Add to the competition another racer. . . well. It sounds like bad planning. on the flip side, give people time to get some cash back then release and people are more likely to buy it. I think.

    3. Themadcat001

NFS was never classified as a “sim” It’s always been an arcade racer, drift 400 feet in traffic etc etc. aside from NFS road and track way back when is the only time they tried to even be realistic and add in info on cars and real documentaries like GT did in the beginning as well.

But NFS will never be a sim, that was comfirmed after hot pursuit and “Underground” with all the fake blur and nos.

GT and NFS aren’t even in the same catagory, I’d put GT next to LFS with better graphics or next to Rfactor before I’d put it remotely close to NFS.

NFS and Grid and Blur are in the same catagory to me.

    4. Sigmaviper11

Ahh, ok. Thats who said it. Was wondering who made the comment that allured to NFS being a sim. Regardless, its not necessarily just sim vs arcade. Its just the genre in itself. Other than racing nuts like us, some of the more casual people probably won buy two racing games close together. hence the competition and the timing issues with that. Specially with many people still picking and choosing due to limited budgets.

  34. FrancisBenjamin

i hope Kaz and the PD team didn’t just agree with this whole situation…

because if what Jesse Divnich said is in fact Sony’s plan, then that is a complete spit in the face for GT fans…

Sony is basically saying “we can delay the game as much as we want, they will still buy it.”

yes its true, im still keeping my pre-order and still waiting for the game, because what else can we do other then wait??

just hope Sony and PD don’t take us loyal fans for granted…

  35. tyl0r_r

Remember all that time, how Sony kept being all proud of themselves, saying, “OH NO! Gt5 hasn’t been delayed! We’ve never had a North American release date announced so it’s never been delayed! Neener neener etc…”

    What now?

  36. JarreauGTP

I will buy GT5 no mather what happens.I am just a little pissed that it it three weeks before release. And i personally think its sony’s fault.Look what they did with socom and littlebigplanet 2.Those games got delayed to.I am beginning to think sony is going downwards.

  37. DrTrouserPlank

“Gran Turismo 5’s timely release is perhaps even more crucial to Sony’s 3D TV division than it is to PS3. In-store demos of GT5 may be the best case Sony can make to consumers for 3D TV.”

That’s all you need to read to understand why it’s being delayed… again.

    1. FlareKR

F the 3D TV crap! No one is buying them (okay let’s not say no one, I’ll say 5 people; exaggerating the actual number that’s maybe 2). The average person cannot afford it, heck the biggest LCD I have in my house is a 26″, and that’s in the kitchen; I’m using my fat-ass 32″ SD for my fat-ass PS3. I’m still saving up at least $700 to get a good sized Sony Bravia, not $2,000+ for a thing I have to wear glasses to get the full experience. No and no, just release the game and stop playing “the game”.

    2. Maxiboy

3D has been around since the 50’s. I hate it. Its gimmicky. Anyone who does enjoy it is a monkey. Its not even three dimensional. Its over priced. It ruins picture quality. AND IT DELAYS OUR FAVORITE GAME OVER AND OVER!!!! If anyone buys a sony 3D tv they should hang their heads in shame and have a lllooonnnnngggg look at how wasteful their spending habits are.

    3. HugoStiglitz_420

I checked out the GT5 demo and 3D TVs today. It is kind of gimicky but with improvement, 3D will be amazing. it already is fantastic looking but it hurts your eyes and fast moving objects flicker alot. that can be fixed. never buy brand new tech (especially with a microsoft os) because alot of companies use customers complaints as quality control and testing

  38. dautolover

well this sucks for me. i had planned to get the game, play till the holidays, since i have to go to Washington DC for a school program I’m doing from January to March.

Even if they decide to release it on Dec. 25th, I;ll be able to play this game for a couple days and wait till March…

  39. Honchie

Just f*cking great, after the last date was set in stone this crap happens. I hope Polyphony Digital & Sony are getting their offices egged.

    1. FlareKR

PD is getting it rotten-tofu-ed, while their playing with their action figures, watching Advent Children, and playing the GT5 demos.

  40. azzaj

What if it is somethign that can’t be fixed by patch? Remember the dual layer on gt4 screwing over ps2 lasers? Until we know the reason and the length of delay…. You never know you may even thank them for not bricking your 80gb first gen ps3. What if they were going to include some car that everyone wanted but they weren’t licensed for…. Let us just wait and see.

    1. Bernd

Fine idea if it’s PORSCHE, but:
Creating a premium-car in GT5 lasts 6 months! That would be
around mid-April 2011 then, printing all the copies, packing and shipping – end of May… Makes your hair stand straight!

  41. MajinOLesedi

I think what annoys people the most is that they know they cant do anything but get pissd off and they’ll still buy GT5 no matter the delay. Someone at PD is like ‘lets delay this… they’ll still buy it anyway’

    1. Juwlzxxx

True Dat my friend. Right now, the power is in their hands. “Absolute power makes absolute corruption…”

  42. Techi243

They should just release it now and leave any updates and improvements for patches and any new features for GT6. Just release it so that every loyal fan here can finally relax.

  43. n0ne

I’m done with GT5. Cancelling my CE pre-order. Maybe I’ll buy it in 10 years with it debuts with the PS4.

Way to just piss off your fans to make a little more dough, might just end up backfiring.

  44. IronMaiden

I would understand if they pushed it back because of Call of Duty but it shouldn’t go to 2011 because Sony, Polyphony and the GT Series will be the running gag in the industry for quite a while.

  45. speedy_2

Who cares about the Financial impact? How about the fact that so many loyal customers are being put through these delays? Here’s an idea. Plan the whole thing out. Then do it. Complete it. Make all the copies of the game and put them in cases. Then give us a release date. Stop spitting release dates out when you’re not done with it, because obviously you can’t deliver on a predetermined date.

    1. FlareKR

      Financial impact may be good…
Social impact is a lot of angry fans marching to GameStop to cancel their pre-orders.

    2. Tenacious D

Except that there is no way in hell you can predict when a very complex piece of software will be done and ready to print.

Everyone went bonkers demanding a release date. Well, Kaz did his best to finally give you one. If it slips… hey, you can have a Gran Turismo as flakey as every single Forza game MS put out, or you can wait for a much better polished and debuggged GT5. I prefer to wait, but that’s just me.

  46. aQuarius26

    Deja vu…

No surprises here, although such late notice on a delay wasn’t something I ever saw coming…

  47. Themadcat001

They say not a lot of money will be lost with the fan base and to be honest, they may of lost a few dozen people, the true GT fan base will be here, and understand haste makes waste. The November second release date was the closest thing we’ve ever had to a real release date, and it stood for a while, something must of came up. I for one am not going to be so upset that I didn’t get it on november 2nd to get all mad about my vacation being wasted.

I understand what they are doing, if it’s for marketing release oh well, if it’s actually bug fixing, just means we’re getting a better game out of the box. If they are fixing something, they have a lot todo before they push everything into the packaging phase.

    1. Themadcat001

May have, and Must Have. There you go grammar nazi. We Get accustomed to how we hear things sometimes, at least I don’t type with U’s and 2’s and B’s like the rest of the Internet world, anyways carry on about your troll-full day, may many useful posts upset you.

    2. Maxiboy

If PD are the reason for the delay it wont effect me purchasing their products, BUT if its Sony behind the delay I will honestly boycott their rather average and over priced electrical equipment. Honestly this has put me off the Sony brand, well that and they way I had to swear at some sony employees to help me with a purchase at Sydneys Sony store. Infact im in such a bad mood today I might go back and swear at them just for some frustration relief.

And John dont go stirring people today, everyones annoyed enough without you being a complete tool on the net. I understood the post fine, maybe your just a knuckle dragging caveman who spends more time mopping his own drool off his shoes than reading. Idiot.

    3. HugoStiglitz_420

they lost of people that were considering getting it and getting into the GT franchise and they lost them for sure. i know a few that decided not to get it over the standard cars, a few more changed their minds because of the delay and I don’t blame. When you’re trying something new, you don’t wanna deal with any BS because BS makes it not worth it and I think it’s a shame but whatever. The GT5 was awesome and I can’t wait for the game but I’m pissed off about the delay

    4. JeronimoM

      @John
If you are going to go around the internet correcting posts, please use proper grammar in your own. You had 2 fragments and a non-capitalized “I”. Everyone else understood his post just fine…

    1. GTracerRens

Maybe the full game doesn’t even excist. :P Maybe it will never be released lol. Still, I am very disappointed

    2. HugoStiglitz_420

no lol I played the GT5 demo. It exists and IT’S AMAZING!!!! I’m so impressed with a shotty demo because I can see where it’s going (except damage)and it will be hands down the best ever. THe physics already surpass any racing game ever made

    1. J-KiLLA24

Well they said it is delayed until released “This holiday Season” so i’ll guess we’ll just have to wait again and see…

  48. Luke

“Still, there have been so many delays that another one is not surprising.”

Did i miss something ? As far as i know this is the first delay of GT5.

No Matter if the reason is within Gran Turismo 5 like dust effects on car, maybe they wanna add mud effects or water staying on car after rain, Or the reason is Sony’s sales department trying to boost 3D TV’s out of GT5, or hit the competitors, like releasing The Game just before the new need for speed as a hit right in electronic arts face cause the last 5 years she had the best racing simulators in ps3 (I cannot count GT5 Prologue as a full game).

No Matter what is the case, I hope we get a few extra Premium Cars… That would make me happy…

P.S. I need my christmas extra money to buy a new TV…

I was thinking the same. More dust, better reflections on wet tracks, wet cars in the rain (only the windscreen and side-windows are wet so far), engine-sounds maybe – a little bit of everything

I hope if more premiums are added it’s just a bonus. I want all the cars to be premium as much as anyone but I would not understand if it was a large reason for the delay because there’s no reason the premium up grade can’t be DLC or a patch. We got a bunch of cars added to GT5P so why not with GT5. I tried the GT5 demo tonight finally & I gotta say that, & the fact I bought Ferrari Challenge (& it’s great) has made me less angry about the delay. I suggest if anyone hasn’t already, get Ferrari Challenge or something to pass the time if you’re mad about the delay. It’s second only to GT5P in driving physics & that’s saying alot when it’s going up against Forza. it’s alot like GT5Ps physics so I suggest looking into it. I feel like a salesman now, hope I get a commission lol

And Nov.2nd was the best possible day, 4 days after my B-Day, and the day the Dems lose the house. One more delay, and I’m going to cancel my 3 year old pre-order, PD is putting us on leashes like retarded sheep.

Last week of December?? or sometimes in 2011???

      Forget it… i am no longer in a rush…
i wish that a lot of you, like myself, will just cross this game out, sit it out for a few months later…

      I dont care anymore…

Yeah, FlareKR – at least we still get to watch the ‘Rats get their asses kicked on Nov. 2nd.

But I was hoping to listen to that coverage while installing GT5.

We just have to take it – I knew there was a reason his initials are KY.

      Back to F1 2010.
