Polyphony Digital has just released a new set of Time & Drift Trials and a refreshed Online Car Dealership. Here’s a look at all the details:
Time Trial No. 22
- 345HP Eiger Nordwand K-Trail Time Trial: This is a time trial on the Eiger Nordwand K-Trail for cars with 345HP or less using dirt tires. Cars can be tuned to 345HP and 1200kg.
- 295HP European Non-Racecar / Eiger Nordwand Short Course Time Trial: This is a time trial on the Eiger Nordwand Short Course for European non-racecars with 295HP or less. Cars can be tuned to 295HP and 1200kg. Tire selection is limited to sports/medium or less.
Drift Trial No. 22
- Cape Ring Drift Trial (any car, comfort soft tires or less)
- London City Reverse (any car, comfort soft tires or less)

I second the notion! My should get new, premium Le Mans cars! I know the 2011 Audi R18 TDI tops my list, but I’m not about to be picky, just give us more prototypes!!! The newer the better!!!

The Eiger Rally Time Trial seems unusually strict about touching walls.
I can easily beat the time but just not cleanly… Gotta go REALLY slow down the hill (well I do anyway…). I have only tried a few times so far to no avail…
I found out about that last night. It might take awhile to gold that one, still haven’t bronzed it yet. :(
Peugeot 908 is killing the Audi R18 right now. I rather have that instead.

I enjoy watching the battle they had this year as the fan I am. I think it’s safe to say the R18 would have won road Atlanta without the accident and if CEOs weren’t aloud to race then the #1 Audi of Rockenfeller / Bernard / Dumas I believe would have won Le Mans, but Le Mans was a dam amazing race this year. I was slightly disappointed that the #9 Peugeot of Bourdais / Paganaud / Lamy didn’t win Le mans because idk if Bourdais and Paganaud will be back or wit what team because they both want to go to indycar and it would be nice for the hometown kid to win one. But either way I think one must admit that the R18 is a brilliant price of engineering, very advanced with the brilliant LED lights to the ultra lightweight technology to the chassis optimizing efficency by being shapped to eliminate the highest amount of drag and the sharpness in the turns. Therefore I think we all can agree the R18 is rather brilliant. When was the last time Audi had a mechanical failure anyways? Who knows what the ILMC constructers battle would look like if the McNish / Krisstensen / Cappelo trio didn’t have such rotten luck w/ GT cars, oh yeah and why do we conclude an international series on a crappy little track in communist china? The new ACO regulations will come down harder on Peugeot then Audi because they will be limited to 1 turbo and Peugeot uses 2, so it will be it interesting.
And we do have a model of the 908 already, so I would want that new Audi coupe first, but I do want em’ both. And why woulnt we get all 3 liveries for the Audi and pugs? It’s as simple as changing the the number and the mirror colors!
Shifter Karts! Please! with adjustable frame for front/rear stiffness! This would be so great, I want everyone to get it on their mind. Put it in the Feedback section, send it to the top.
Also, more kart tracks, like the one in the infield at Suzuka.
+1 I want the BMW Mclaren F1 GTR car too. The McLaren F1 street car is probably my favorite car on the game right now. It’s amazing to me that it was developed in the early ’90s and it still kicks butt.
its in the used car dealer….all new cars after five races..fastest way to refresh is start race then quit then then go right back do it five times and that will be the fastest way to find it…takes about 30 sec to get all new cars in dealership

Seems to be a popular concensus about the Audi R18 TDI. If we all just started teething him support like he said he likes and put in a plug to get the R18 added to the game for free in an update we could get it done! Say it’s all we want for Christmas!

It alternates every other week. One week is a race event, the next week is time & drift trials. I’m no fan of b-spec either, but last week was the first ever b-spec seasonal so chill it’s hardly like we’re getting cheated.
I got onto the drift trial a couple hours after it came out and I came 37th in the world with 8000 points. My mate INSANE got top position with 13000
Idk why I’m posting this here but I hope they give us a nice Christmas gift, a couple new free racecars would do. Hopefully some European touring race cars and I would spill blood for the 2011 Audi R18 TDI :)

Please no more Japenesse cars, even the cars added in the DLC were all Jap touring cars… Let’s just mix it up for once an use something like some Le Mans like GT cars or some European manufacturers touring cars. Unless Tsukuba got time ad weather change I feel like it would to dull for a big 1 year event

Gee and the sun isn’t bright is it either? Look at the list of cars in the game, there are over 100 in mazdas or Nissian I can’t remember, might be both if you count the ones that are modified under other manufacturers. All of the cars in the new DLC are Japanese except for the challenger touring car and I don’t know of anywhere challenger actually raced as a touring car. The vast vast vast majority of the cars in the game are Japanese compared to European and American combined!
The game is made by a japanese developer. Duuuhhhhh!!

That London reverse drift trial is tricky, especially the last sector. First time I’ve gone round in reverse and the corner seems like it gets tighter half way so I just slide into the wall.

They would be leaving out the gamers that couldn’t afford the DLC if they made a seasonal with Spa.

I’m not sure what DLC prices usually are, so can’t make a real comment on it, but its just a bit much for some cars which are just reiterations of whats already in game, and 2 tracks that aren’t used in the game.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to have a go on those tracks… but yeah… :)
I agree with you man, they can’t do that for people that didn’t buy it. Only things that come on the game should be on seasonal events, no DLC ones, wouldn’t be fair. Only way they could make it fair is if they let you choose like just 1 item from DLC packs like a demo. Then people would have Spa if they wanted it without paying.
Or if people only wanted Spa then they just purchase the track pack for a couple dollars. Your not forced to buy the whole lot
Actually, we ALL have Spa, weather we payed for access to it or not. It’s the reason people without the DLC can join people with it online. It came in Spec 2.0 and the DLC is actually just an unlock key (kb in size). So they should use it in seasonals to give everyone a taste of it in competition! It could actually boost DLC sales!
I you could afford a $60 for GT5 I’m sure you can afford $10 DLC
I don’t get it. They brought us Spa after all the fan’s requests yet they ignore it in the Seasonals. Makes no sense.

YLOD? Search PS3 reball on ebay. Replaces all the solder contacts on the CPU and GPU using leaded solder not the lead-free stuff that Sony uses. It’s only around $90, and if it’s the first time it broke it’s a permanent fix. Good luck!

If I’m not mistaken, this is the first time the Online UCD didn’t have a Bugatti Veyron available for purchase. Not that I care too much, since I’ve already got one and it handles like a wet brick going through mud, but still it may be an issue for those looking to buy multiple Veyrons for the sake of having it in multiple colors.
